The only time that I do is when I encounter a disrespectful sales associate. I know retail is frustrating and aggravating because there are customers that take complaining to the extreme. But news flash, I was not one of these customers! Granted, I went with my aunt who never knows how to keep her volume down and is so fussy when she buys clothes. She asks for the world's opinion, and I even felt embarrassed, but family is family and that's just who she is. So being herself, she took down two of the different types of skinny jeans from the shelf to examine them and decide on which pair to get. When she had a question or inquired about a size, I politely asked the guy. However, my cousin told me at one point, he scoffed and shook his head at us because oh I'm sorry, we ruined the pile of jeans that he just folded. I wouldn't be having this attitude if his manners weren't so bad that day. I don't work there so 1) I wouldn't know how to fold it the exact same way and 2) I am five feet, hence vertically challenged. I sure hope he knows what he got himself into when he took this job. It is not just standing there looking pretty and one way or another, he will have to fold the clothes. It was a weekday when we visited and we were the only customers at that time. Is it that bad to fold back two pairs of jeans?

While we were waiting outside the gate, my teen child mentioned that it was already 11:00, but no rush. During checkout, the cashier almost double-charged me for an item, although I will give her credit for pointing out that we could take advantage of a BOGO deal. I worked in retail about 20 years ago, and I remember that the first customers of the day were one of the most important. If someone gets up early, comes to the mall, and is there ready to spend money, you should be welcoming and appreciative..not make them feel like they're inconveniencing you. As soon as I walked in I felt uneasy like all of the employees were being forced to stay there by the boss. The "manager" Michael has absolutely no idea how to run a store or treat a human being. As I was trying to shop, the employees were very helpful, or at least attempted to be helpful. The manager came running over yelling at and reprimanding two of the employees for looking up something on their phone; they were looking up something to help me. This is not how you treat people. I tried to explain the situation to the boss but he started yelling at me and had me removed me from the store. Thankfully I got his name during this exchange and Micheal, if you're reading this, I will be contacting corporate. I highly recommend shopping at any American Eagle location except for this one. INo retail store is perfect. Staff maybe scarse, inventory can be off , selection is minimal. I have always found the unexpected at Macy's. Sales and selection is decent at times. It depends on the season. This location has lost its pizazz but this is due to the people not shopping and relying on cattle shopping. I prefer to see variety in person. My friend found an excellent CK suit and accessories there. They had various price ranges, and selection for men..Great men's shop in all areas. I only online shop when time isn't there for multiple items. I always here how expensive Mayc's is. Those people don't understand shopping. Shop off season, sales and get emails and shop online for extra discounts on what you seen in the store. You can pick up from the store if you like. The value is in the quality. unlike Tj ..or Marsh'alls. where the clothes get holes or loose shape. Macy's is unique and Herald Square is the Best of any location in the City. So make sure you stop in.. If your're in the Big NYC. its worth it. read more

It has come to my attention that certain individuals employed within the company may have backgrounds involving criminal activity, including convictions for robbery and ongoing involvement in illegal drug sales or use. Specifically, I am concerned about Ms. Angelica Naveira from Bridgeport, Connecticut, who has reportedly been observed engaging in drug use publicly, including in her personal vehicle parked in front of her residence or workplace. Given these observations, I believe it is essential for the organization to review its hiring and employee oversight procedures to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards. Implementing comprehensive background checks and establishing clear policies regarding conduct and professional behavior will help maintain a safe, respectful, and productive work environment for all employees. Decided to move to the back of the store. I'm looking through this section and turn and see another associate in the same section a little further down. Pretty much eyeing me but not directly. Now at this point it's blatant and I'm annoyed. I've worked retail I know how this works. I decided to just ask the associate if she can help me find what I'm looking for. She really couldn't since what I needed was very specific. That's fine. I continued to try looking to see if maybe I missed something. That same associate pops up and places an item in the section I'm in that didn't really need to be there it seemed. And then hovers close by 'fuddling' with clothes. At this point it was blatant and obvious I wasn't welcomed there. It was uncomfortable and I honestly never had an experience as ... blatant.
