You can certainly go to a big box store, and maybe you would pay less for the actual suit, but these gentlemen include the tailoring in the price and pay attention to every single detail to make him look and feel his absolute best. Even down to moving the shirt button just a tiny smidge to make him more comfortable. Would go back 100%!!

Two days before the wedding, a friend suggested an alternation that would transform it into the perfect gown but I knew it was too late. I called every tailor I knew but no one was willing to help. With 24 hours to go, Abby returned my call. She opened her shop and within an hour, had the alterations done. She could have charged me anything but only charged for the hour's work! My son picked up the dress and handed it off to me at the rehearsal dinner a few hours later. The dress was beautiful and the next day was great! There are no seamstresses left like Abby. I was recommended to Martha by Gail at Occasions Bridal shop to alter my " Mother of the bride"…read moreformal dress. I went for several fittings. All in all I think I went 5 times because I was unhappy with how the dress fit. I was told by Gail that I had uneven shoulders and given a shoulder pad to try to solve the problem. The alterations caused the neck to be crooked and the arms were too tight because the way she adjusted the shoulder to reduce the bodice and not the arm. She also took in the dress at the zipper on one side which was obvious because she did not even use the same color thread and the seam showed. Martha was irritated that I kept coming back and was unhappy with the work. I finally gave up and took the dress to an actual professional to fix. I was told they had " butchered" the dress and was shown specifically why it was unfixable. I would not take anything there. I was charged several hundred dollars for a bad job that ruined a $700 dress. Complete waste of about $900. I had to buy another dress last minute off the rack and have an emergency fix, but at least I had a dress that fit properly for the big day.
