My experience with The Savvy Bride today inclines me enough to come home, smile with a glow, and write this review. As someone who is terrible at making decisions, working with Erica today to find my perfect dress made it seem easy and flawless. First off, booking was easy online and personable. I found an appointment available and got the confirmation quickly. Additionally the questionnaire and personable customer service from Erica all walked me through the process more clearly. Erica even took the time to check what styles I liked, explained some commonly missed facts about bridal size vs street size (I didn't even know either!) and made sure we were within reason for my budget. I was even more floored once we got to the literal dress floor. Hundreds of dresses available and Erica was able to narrow down easily what would work for me. In fact, the inventory changes frequently which means new stuff is added all of the time. I ended up loving all of them in some way shape or form. Ultimately I was able to find a dress that was MY dress. Not only did I feel it but Erica and my sister saw it too. What made the visit most memorable was how Erica was friendly, understanding, knowledgeable, personable, and professional. Unlike other experiences I had, she was there to answer questions, clarify things, and be patient with the fact that I don't know much about weddings as a whole. In fact she asked me the right questions to know and affirm that I will feel confident, comfy, and assured with my decisions. There are so many things I didn't know I wanted or liked and Erica was able to find them for me at the price I was looking for. My wedding is 6 months away and I needed to get a dress quickly. Erica was so great in helping me figure out what style of dress was right for me and my venue. She has a great selection in a pretty good range of dress sizes. I bought the most beautiful beaded Kitty Chen dress - it's the dress of my dreams! I loved that I had the whole shop to ourselves during my appointment. Erica was so helpful in figuring out what kind of dress I liked - I started out thinking I would like a more simple style, and she quickly figured out that I actually wanted something with a little more sparkle. I tried on 12 dresses total, and mine was the 6th one. I was so impressed with Erica's ability to pick out dresses that I would like. I ended up with a beautiful dress, at a very fair price. Love, love, love! From the moment we stepped in the owner, Erica, was warm, inviting and truly looked excited and happy that we were there. She explained how her store works which simply is that she sells discontinued sample dresses which are typically sizes 10-16 that can no longer be ordered. I went with 6 loved ones and there was plenty of room for all of us. We were encouraged to shop around, touch things, and let her know if we wanted to try it on so she could pull it out for me. The dress quality was great. We were all a little skeptical about trying on sample dresses, but there weren't any issues with the condition of the dresses. There is a fitting room which Erica helps you get the dress on and buttoned up so you can come out and show your party. Sure enough, the first dress was my dress. She encouraged me to try on some more dresses we picked out and a few picks of her own. She even let me try on a fluffy pink dress my 10 year old cousin picked out knowing I wasn't interested in it at all and had fun with my appt with us. Nothing compared to that first dress. At this point I had been to 4 dress shops and nothing compared to that first dress I tried on here, not even the $5000 Caroline Castigliano I LOVED that you can only get in 7 stores in America. Erica was amazing right from the start. I walked in the first time not thinking that I would get an idea of my favorite styles of dress. But I fell in love with one of the dresses she picked out for me. I put a deposit down and bought it the next week after my family came to see it. I made an appointment with Savvy Bride after visiting 5 other bridal salons, becoming increasingly frustrated, and running out of time! Upon walking into Savvy Bride, I immediately felt at ease rather than overwhelmed like I had at other big box bridal stores. Erica was so sweet and the salon is so inviting! The best part is you're the only bride there so the focus is truly just on you! Erica had taken the time to look at my Pinterest board so she already had dresses that she felt fit my style ready in the dressing room. She also encouraged me to look at any dresses in my size and to try on as many as I wanted! It was truly a no pressure environment and she was so supportive. You buy the dresses off the rack at Savvy Bride which was such a blessing for me! I struggled with envisioning and guessing what sample dresses would look like on me at other bridal salons but you don't have that issue here since you are trying on the gowns in your size and that's the gown you'll bring home that day. Of all the bridal dress appointments I've had, Erica provided me the best experience. She's so sweet, patient, and kind. Each bride that walks into her shop gets an individual 2 hour appointment. That means that for those two hours Erica focuses only on that bride's needs and preferences.
