This place showed up and it was a specialty store - which I preferred over random places that may have just a few of what you might need - so I tried here. Inside the staff was friendly and everything looked neat. Though they had very little of what I actually needed, I did find one top I could use, so not a total loss. The clearance area had some great deals for footwear, but sadly none were my size. The have a small parking lot on the side of the building. Make sure you park on the side with their building as they share it with another business. If you can't find parking, then be prepared to pay the meters. It's White Plains and they WILL check the meters frequently enough because the city of White Plains loves to make money on parking ticket issuance. If you're in a profession that requires these types of clothing/footwear, then this should be a place to check out. They have a pretty great variety overall.

The guy on the phone was so pleasant and agreed to order the specific style using his connections and would call me when it arrived. They arrived at the store for purchase a week later. I showed up at the store was greeted by clutter . Not sure if that is by design or what . Within the clutter however, they do have a large selection of quality work wear. These kinda stores are harder to find these days so pass has to be given for the clutter .It also helps that the owner is very friendly and seems the type to bend over backwards to make the client happy . I've gone to these guys on several occasions for projects that require very short turnaround and…read morethey have always come through for me. More often than not my orders begin with me walking into Mike's office and saying "I know this is really short notice, but can we do it?" Most recently I was tasked with outfitting approximately 25 employees with customized uniforms, including embroidery, heat press and patches. The deadline I had to work with was very short notice. I explained the situation to Mike and he got me a quote within 24hrs. When he identified issues, such as hard to find sizes or back ordered items, he worked closely with me to identify and implement solutions. When my deadline was shortened due to contractual obligations, Mike began heat pressing shirts himself to help me make my new, even shorter deadline. Through the entire process on multiple occasions, and multiple orders, Mike has helped me accomplish tasks that seemed impossible at first. The first day that I came to this store I was a bit overwhelmed with the variety of selections. One of the employees must have noticed and offered to help me. I let her know that I wanted scrubs that were affordable. Without hesitation, she brought me over to the "Grey's Anatomy" section and there was a sale going on. I was able to pick out 5 scrub tops and bottoms and tried them out in the dressing room. The helpfulness of the employee made the scrub purchasing process easy for me. I like when I am able to walk into a store and get what I need with ease. The level of service is what drew me to come back for additional pairs of scrubs. I have dealt mostly with Bob who is extremely friendly, helpful, and as also noted by others a bit funny. I would highly recommend anyone in need of what Alfie's carries to purchase it from them.
