Sukran is the best! And her work is totally worth the money! Not only did she do a phenomenal job…read morewith my wedding dress (Anthropologie's BHLDN Valerie dress), but she also entirely transformed my second dress (Vow's FLEUR dress) by removing the very long train and making it a high/low style that was much more suitable to my petite frame. For my first dress - the main challenge was making sure the chest was supportive (there was a lot of extra fabric in the bust originally) while maintaining the look of the flutter sleeves. Sukran had to remove the original elastic in the shoulders, create support by adding an internal spaghetti strap (I am a 36C/34D), remove any extra fabric, and ensure the flutter sleeve appeared in its original form. We went through 2-3 iterations and Sukran got it perfectly! She does not charge more per alteration - it is a lump sum that you agree on at the beginning and you can pay in installments (I paid a portion of the original total each visit). Sukran also added a beautiful French bustle to this dress. She was patient and kind through every fitting, and she was a lot of fun to spend time with! You can tell she loves what she does. For my second dress, she entirely removed the lengthy train of a strapless dress (Vow'd FLEUR dress) and altered it to be a slightly high/low style. I am 5'1" and the style was much more suitable to my petite frame. I loved it! Thank you for everything Sukran!!!

Alissa was wonderful and I highly recommend asking for her. She took me to three different racks of dresses, picking out ones that tailored to my taste, as well as others she thought would compliment my figure. But most importantly, before each rack, she let me know the price range of the dresses. Countless times I had tried on dresses and fell in love with them, only to find out they were way out of my budget. I ended up choosing the first dress I tried on, one that Alissa personally picked for me and I couldn't be happier. My dress arrived within a week, and I am already happy with how the first fitting turned out. They also have a selection of hand painted dresses that are really beautiful. They start around $1000, but the craftsmanship is artfully done and unique, so no two dresses will look the same!

After lots of searching, I settled on a dress I felt would work for me even if it wasn't perfect. Two days before the wedding, a friend suggested an alternation that would transform it into the perfect gown but I knew it was too late. I called every tailor I knew but no one was willing to help. With 24 hours to go, Abby returned my call. She opened her shop and within an hour, had the alterations done. She could have charged me anything but only charged for the hour's work! My son picked up the dress and handed it off to me at the rehearsal dinner a few hours later. The dress was beautiful and the next day was great! There are no seamstresses left like Abby. No wonder she has such a great reputation.

Didn't offer me any options of typical variations -- shirt style, jacket style, etc. Then when I came back for pickup, the shirt fit terribly. It was about two sizes too big, with all kinds of voluminous extra material. He didn't seem to care. Similarly, he didn't offer me options for the jacket style. Their website makes it seem like they have lots of options, but he offered no choices. The next time I needed a tux, I went elsewhere, and that's where I found out about all of the options that are typical for a tux rental. And, the other place was less expensive. This was like paying extra for a lackadaisical and uncaring product. And, he insisted on all cash!

I came in a couple months ago weighing a lot more than I did when I got my tux. I explained to "Sal" my situation and that I was due to have surgery and getting in and fitted would be difficult. He didn't hesitate one second and took my measurements and said "come see me on Halloween. I said are you sure, is that enough time? He said don't worry, leave it to me." So I came in about 100 lighter and about five sizes smaller... and BAM... Sal nailed it! He says come back next week; and I did... and the man had looking like I came out of a magazine GQ! But my story doesn't stop there. My son, who was Koumbaro (Best Man) to his brother, got his tuxedo from another outlet with all the Groomsmen. His tux was a disaster. Jacket did not fit at all properly. The vest was a "bib". The shoes were way too tight. They told him he looked fine, but truth be told, they did not have the means to make a fuller sized man look the part. They lacked the expertise in my opinion to do it right. The wedding was less than a week away!! I reached out to Sal. My son went to him directly from the other store. Sal took one look at him... did not even measure him... said; " put this jacket on, put these pants on... try these shoes on... hold on a minute... ok, give me the shirt from the other place... a little adjustment to the sleeves of the jacket and BOOM PERFECT!!!" Sal... YOU ARE THE KING!!! I still paid that other store full price. But I would never go there again because there were many problems with the other grooms-men's tux's, but my son... he was just awesome in a much classier outfit. If you're looking for price... go shopping. If you're looking for "the best quality and service", (and a pretty good price too)... ho to Tony's Tuxedo and see Sal. A small shop, personal one on one service, fine quality and it's refreshing to not see "computers and technology" all over the damn place and just see someone that knows what he's doing and how to treat his customers. Not to mention, "Mickey" (his doggie), loves everyone too!!! Thank you Sal. From Big Alex and my son Nicholas
