The glazed burger comes with a steak burger, fried egg, caramelized onions, aged cheddar cheese, ketchup and a Korean style glaze all on a brioche bun. It was very delicious - fresh and made to order! The burger was a bit bigger than I expected so I had to cut mine in half. The Korean style glaze was a bit sweet and tangy; it overpowered the other flavors of the burger, but not by much. The onion rings were alright. I'm on a gas station food streak this week. This is my 2nd stop for lunch this week with a restaurant attached to a gas station & it did not disappoint! Service was quick & attentive. I ordered the bleu cheeseburger along with fries. I paid about $10, but the portions I felt, were worth it. The burger was very flavorful, though I felt it lacked sauce. I just added ketchup to it, but felt like it needed some mayo. I'm just a saucy kinda gal, I guess . It was a nice day when I went & noticed they have outside patio seating which is nice to eat & get some fresh air to enjoy the weather. The menu seemed limited, but they have specials for every day of the week as well. They open early, so it's also a great spot to grab breakfast real quick while you're there getting gas. My friend Kevin and I got lost looking for a place to eat. And we came upon Urban Counter and we'd thought to give it a try. We both had the Bacon Burger with fries. Both were very tasty. The beef was fresh and juicy, bacon was top notch, and the toppings were different, but good. I don't usually have jalapeños on my burger, but was a welcome addition. The fries were fresh, but could be a bit crisper, but not a dealbreaker. The best meal I ever tasted. It's a bit pricey, but once you taste it, you'll know where the money went. Urban Counter is a hidden gem located inside a BP off Farnsworth in Aurora. It has a very hip decor and adds to the solid gas station's portfolio of offerings. The staff is quite friendly and walks new customers through the options. Everything is grilled fresh to order - you can taste the difference. Many things looked good, but the daily special was buy 1, get 1 mini burgers. It was under $5 for 2 minis, regular fries and regular drink. Awesome value. The burger was remarkable - just a little ball of flavor. The grilled chicken mini was equally impressive. It was juicy, well seasoned and hot off the grill. Fries grew on me, but needed some salt and a little more time in the fryer. Woah. Let's talk about how this place is in a gas station and how that's actually pretty awesome! Except if you have kids. Who want to walk all through the gas station picking up candy bars and such. You end up buying way too much crap. The food was dynamite. The service.....................omghowfreakingslow. We were the only ones there and it was super, super calm and two workers. We ordered three burgers. The order was messed up and took ages and they kept coming back and checking on what we wanted, like I didn't already specify toppings at the counter. I paid too much because they rang me up for the wrong thing and didn't know how to refund me (FINE, just feeeeeed me), so we took leftovers home. Food was legit. Except sweet potato fries. It was topped with bleu cheese, a bacon jam, and arugula, on a brioche bun! It was one of the better burgers I've had in a while. The sweet potato fries were delicious as well. On this visit, the regular fries were just okay. I would stick with the sweet potatoes. We did have a problem with one burger being raw on the inside. It was put on the grill after the others, but removed at the same time. The staff was very apologetic and the young man that cooked it came to our table later and said that he just wanted to apologize again for the burger and was very gracious. We were very happy with the customer service and food. I'll be back. Prices were pretty reasonable as well. A meal of a burger, fries, and a drink was less than $10. Not bad. The whole place is good, clean, neat, bright, and organized. The vibe inside the place is awesome. Well-maintained and aligned. They have plenty of tables and chairs. The interior has a great ambiance, it is very relaxing, and such a calm place. I really love to go back here again soon. Their serving is huge and generous. All of their meals are worth trying. The menu is big and it has plenty of food selections. Their hamburger here is phenomenal! Their burger is the best here in this whole area of Aurora. Lots of people keep coming back again and again just to order and get some of it. I also liked it and I can literally order a double of it in just one sitting. It was really amazing. I would give zero stars if I could. Came here with family after checking out the great yelp reviews. Not sure if those are real reviews or this place has gone down hill. I knew it was going to bad experience from the beginning when I had to wave the cook over off his perch in the little back room. Where do I begin. I ordered a bacon cheese burger, cooked medium, and an order of fries. My wife ordered a veggie wrap, and added a grilled cheese for my daughter. It took exactly min to get my food! Two more people came in and ordered after us. That's when these two cooks got lost. They try cooking ask three orders at the same time. After waiting 30 min, they finally brought out our food. Naturally I didn't receive my fries. Went back up and told them. They said they would bring then out. Took a bite of my burger, it was completely overcooked. If your going to ask how you want your burger cooked, you better be able to get close or your setting yourself up to disappoint customers. Took a few more bites and refused to eat anymore. My wife said the veggie wrap was good, but it's pretty hard to mess up rolling veggies in a spinach burrito. So your safe with that if you're stuck eating here. The Korean-style burger I bought from this restaurant was really delicious. It was their glazed burger, with a huge portion and an amazing flavor. The burger was just like any other burger, and the only difference was that it had a Korean-style glaze, which definitely took it to the next level. The glaze just added to the deliciousness of the burger, and I really loved it so much. I am just really glad that I decided to stop in this restaurant for a quick bite, or else I would not have been able to know that this restaurant has those kinds of great burgers. They have a nice menu with a lot of options, including a different option for their burgers. I am now curious about what their other burgers taste like, so I will definitely be back. Stopped here today. Upon entering, I noticed that even though it was inside the gas station they have leather booths to be seated. Very nice. I came in and the 3 ladies working there seemed very chatty and friendly. I said I was waiting for my boss who drove seperately. He was in the car on the phone. I spent a good deal of time driving around Butterfield Road looking for Urban Counter. And making u-turns. And trying to (safely) cross traffic. I finally realized that Urban Counter is physically inside the BP Gas Station. So, word to the wise! I placed a to-go order and was told my food would be ready in about 15-20 minutes so I was a bit surprised when I arrived 25 minutes later that it was still about 5-10 min out. No biggie, though, I filled up my tank and waited in the (very) clean BP. The food was all made fresh by a few friendly guys at a cute little counter next to a smattering of tables. We ordered eats for a variety of folks, from grilled cheese to burgers, sandwiches to fries and here's how we made out... Fries: 3/5: I prefer a crispy fry and this was lacking in crisp and salt. Points for being freshly fried. I appreciate the sweet potato option, though. BLT: 3/5: Huge and made with thick cut bacon. Flavorful but the bacon was a bit chewy (again, would prefer more crisp) and the avocado was teeny tiny. Portions: 4/5: Even item I ordered offered super hearty portions. You will not go hungry. Execution: 3/5: I ordered fruit cups and they were forgotten. Bummer. That and considering the longer time to ready my food, I give execution a 3/5. I love the concept of a freshly made burger, especially with such a convenient slant. If the execution was ramped up a bit, I can see Urban Counter being a go-to! read more

Please don't be confused by the fact this place shares space with a gas station convenient store. It's actually a fantastic idea! Place is clean, food is delicious and staff was super fast and friendly. It's a fast casual dining restaurant. I ordered the BLT with avocado. I know you're probably thinking that it's really not hard to screw up a BLT but I've eaten so many I beg to differ. The bacon on this sandwich was cooked to perfection, crispy bacon that wasn't over cooked. And the avocado, lettuce and tomato were fresh. The handcut French fries were great.... I recommend ordering a side of cheese to dip with. I can't believe I'm giving four stars to a burger I ate at a gas station. I ordered the bacon burger with a side of fries. The burger was much better than I expected and the fries were pretty good too. Burger was overcooked for ordering it medium, but it still had good flavor from the toppings. I wanted the fries to be crispier too, but that's more of a preference. The staff was great, and their corner of the place was done up nicely. If I faced the right direction, I could block out the gas pumps and aisles of snack food and think I was in a totally different place. Good prices too. I mean it is in a gas station, after all. I wore him down and he finally agreed. In all fairness, it is attached to a BP station. Don't think of it as a resteraunt in a gas station. Think of it as a resteraunt with the convenience of having a gas station in the resteraunt. But, enough of that... The burgers are 1/2lb of delicious cheesy goodness on a brioche bun with fresh vegies. Definately a meatatarian's delight. The fries were pretty good as well. Unfortunately, that was all the room I had in my belly to sample today. So there are a few locations of Urban Counter and they are all I believe inside BP gas stations. They have several in the burbs and one in South Loop of Chicago. Surprisingly the food was good. My wife had a cheeseburger and I ordered a fried chicken sandwich. The lady taking our order was a little lost that was about the only bad. I got received the grilled chicken sandwich instead of fried but didn't want to wait for the fried and grilled probably more healthy for me.
