There are about 8 parking spots right outside of the restaurant. Everything is self serve, you order and pay at the counter first, so no service for the guests For the portion vs. cost, it's definitely great value. There are plenty of seats on the inside if you don't want to take it to-go and eat in the car. The interior needs a little freshen up for sure. Other ways, it's solid for a fast food spot

The Thai chili shrimp and pork Banh mi is not for the faint of heart. Perfect marriage of flavor and heat. Bit on the pricey side. The baguette is so good. Will be back for more. There is some inside seating and a decent sized parking lot. A condiment table with carry out containers is a nice touch. They can do something about the ventilation and the cleanliness of the restrooms Please support this minority owned small business.

I came with my whole family while stopping by on a vacation drive. I found this spot on Yelp and it looked amazing. I am happy to report that it's as good as it looks!!! Everyone enjoyed their food. I loved the variety of options. I got the soft shell crab and ginger shrimp bahn mi and it was amazing. The staff were very nice. The inside was clean and bright! Definitely worth the quick stop!

When you think bao, you think a small thing that fits in the palm of your hand. Here, it's essentially a big burger which is awesome and great value. The crispy fried chicken and bacon bao is filled with vegetables and sweet sauce which I thought went well together. The one thing I noted was that the bao falls apart and so it's a bit messy - I would recommend eating in for that reason. Overall great lunch place and I would come back again!

The two sandwiches my wife and I shared from Urban Chops are probably the best sandwiches we will have this year. We shared a crunch chicken with bacon sandwich on a bao bun and an urban pork sandwich on a bao bun. I honestly couldn't tell you which was better but they were both unbelievably good. Each individual component of the sandwich was executed masterfully. The chicken and the bacon was crunchy and tender. The pork was tender and juicy and had a crispy sliver of what I think was fried pork skin. Excellent. The service was acceptable but not exceptional. I'll give them a pass considering how delicious their food is. As for the ambiance the place is very very casual. Just come in however you are.

I rarely write reviews, but Urban Chop absolutely deserves one. Wanted to try a few items, so I got the Urban Pork banh mih and the pork and shrimp rice. The chef asked if I would like to try the Chinese BBQ chicken as well (of course I would), so he did a trio for me. Hands down best banh mih I've ever had, and the rice dish was ridiculously good as well. I will be coming back and making my way through the menu. Definitely recommend trying this place out, it's well worth it! read more

Urban chops has amazing sandwiches. I have had lots of banh mi sandwiches before, but these are above and beyond the normal. Their crispy chicken sandwich with bacon on it with this special sauce is soooo good! The place is kind of a hole in the wall as it is on Auburn Way and is easy to miss when you drive by, but they have parking right in front of their door and inside it is nice and clean. I have told a bunch of people about this place and when they go they all tell me how amazing the sandwiches are. Seriously just go and try it, you will not be disappointed. read more

This place has great food, but the absolute worst service. If you can put up with being treated badly, waiting forever to place your order, and rude comments when you get your food, then by all means go. It is hard to find good Vietnamese food in Auburn. This place wouldn't survive a day in Seattle. read more

I've seen this place on Yelp, when searching for a Vietnamese sandwich shops. Seeing their banh mi having a different kind of meats and more unique than the other Vietnamese banh mi deli, tempted me to give it a try. I ordered the lemongrass pork banh mi, the chicken bacon banh mi and vermicelli with lemongrass pork. The sandwiches were really tasty. My son had the chicken bacon one. He really enjoyed it. The sandwiches came with a generous amount of veggies and meats. The vermicelli with lemongrass pork was also tasty and came with a lot of lemongrass pork. It also came with sliced cucumbers and pickled veggies. It did not have the fried egg roll like it would have at a Vietnamese restaurant. For $7 it's a fair price. The banh mi prices is a bit more pricey than other banh mi places I've been. I will definitely come back here again! read more

This place is seriously so good. My husband and I went the first day they opened and got the crispy chicken & bacon bao, the shrimp & pork bahn mi and the lemongrass pork vermicelli noodle salad. They batter their crispy chicken with corn flakes, oh my God, it's so good. We will be back very soon! read more

The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. The service was prompt and polite. I ordered the urban pork banh mi and it was ready in 3 minutes and was absolutely delicious. I came here for a quick bite because I'm in the area for the day. Let me tell you everything on the menu sounds so good! It took me a few minutes to decide. I was going to go with the roasted chicken breast Banh Mi but they were out of chicken breast. Which I was not even mad about because I decided to try something new. I got the Spicy Torched Shrimp on the steam bun. It was so delicious!! Not disappointed at all. I live about 30 min from here but I'm already thinking about making a future trip. Caution: the sandwhich I got was messy. No complaints here. read more

This place is awesome! I was craving banh mi for a long time, and this place delivered with not only their banh mi, but also their bao and bun (vermicelli noodles)! Their menu is small (no pho for example), but they execute it all very well. The banh mi uses really nice crispy bread, and the filling is nothing but authentic Vietnamese flavors. I enjoyed every bite of it! What surprised me the most are their baos. They're basically sandwich versions of their banh mi, but the kicker is that they use the same type of dough to make bread similar to what you use when eating Peking/Beijing roast duck. It's soft, fluffy, and flavorful! Their vermicelli noodles are also extremely on point and really have all of the flavor from the main protein (grilled pork for us). What's great is that if we want a great Vietnamese meal, we don't have to drive all the way to Seattle or Tacoma anymore! It's a small business too, which felt really good to be supporting. Will be back very soon, and this place will be highly recommended to all of my friends here :) read more

I was actually expecting to love this place, I've seen my friend post about this place on Facebook news, but unfortunately it didn't satisfy my taste buds, the sad part was that our food was luke warm/ cold. I also didn't know that everything would come in "Togo" boxes and wrapped up sandwiches. My lemon grass pork has no taste of lemon grass... although I like the idea of urban fusion asian food, it just was not well executed here. First impressions determines if I would come back and the answer is no. read more

After reading all of the great reviews, we had to try this. We got the urban pork Bahn mi and the chicken, bacon bun. We split them both. Started with the chicken (crunchy chicken aka fried) and bacon with an awesome amount of veggies that were lightly pickled. It was delicious! Then we moved on to the bahn mi and it was even better. Both sandwiches were very large and well priced. We will be back and can't wait to try more...or get these again! What a dilemma! read more

Pandan was super crispy and rice was soft, not mushy. Adobo was rich in garlic and in smoky and sweet flavor. Love they kept the fat on some adobo pieces. Each dish was just enough for us to finish for breakfast. For drinks, we ordered the calamansi juice and calamansi iced tea. Both taste great. Side notes: You order up front, bring your table number, and sit wherever you like. They will bring you your food. Once youre done, please put your food away in the back, which is located on the left hand side of the deli if youre facing the deli at the entryway. It was busy on a Sunday around noon. A few were available but was filled quickly after about half an hour of us arriving. People tend to spend time here. About an hour if youre just there to have a quick meal, but families were gathering and spending time with no rush which i loved. No waitress or waiter to check on you, just only to bring you your food which took a reasonable 2 minutes for drinks and about 10 - 15 for food. Overall, we definitely recommend!

I also got the ube coffee and... YUM. Such a good combo with the pancakes. Overall, everything was solid and full of flavor. I'd definitely come back, especially for that pork sisig. Tita is definitely cooking in the back you can taste it.

For a roadside sandwich shop they get five stars. For the exemplary service they get 5 stars. For the fact they have coconut LaCroix they get 5 stars! For the fact the chef gives his own spin on Cream Brûlée and the fact it's clean and well maintained and so many other reasons! Oh yeah! The bread it's got a really good chew, crust and crumb. It's just a nice place and should be slammed all the time. Don't expect some swanky romantic place. Expect the best food around town for the right price. If you've never had Ban Mi (Vietnamese Sandwiches), stop wasting your money on subway. They also have vermicelli dishes and some tasty house made sauces! Have some real food by a real chef and spread your tastebud-wings for once and I'll bet you'll do it twice or more. If you already like Vietnamese food then you'll love this place. I happen to be in the area, drove by, and saw their catchy name. Thought id give it a try. It was pretty empty inside. The girl at the cashier said they've only been open for a few day. Literally the best asian sandwich I've ever had. I ordered the urban pork sandwich. paid about $7. Really moist and juicy with a soft crunchy bread. I love the bold flavors. Cost about the same as a subway sandwich. Well worth every dollar. i hope they make it and stay in business. I'm definitely returning if i happen to be in the area. read more

I'm in love with their Bao sandwiches, and having a fried wonton on the side makes it even better! The place is clean and have a nice modern design which looks amazing. I love the flavor of the Bao sandwich, it's not too over powering. Only downside is this place is a bit of a drive from me, but overall worth the drive! read more

I decided I was craving something sweet. Stopped by just for desert without a doubt the best deserts I've had in a while. It was so good. It not only looked good, but it tasted even better. Our son introduced us to this family run establishment. Now we frequently stop in whenever we can. My husband gets the banh mi always & loves the spicy sweetness and the pickled veggies. I often get the lemongrass vermicelli bowls. I really need to branch out and try a rice bowl...maybe this winter :) read more
