My husband and I took the 2.5 hr bike tour and loved it! The bikes were in great shape, the guides were friendly and informative and I would highly recommended this to anyone interested. They are well organized and professional.

What a wonderful place! From the moment I arrived the staff were waiting with bikes ready, water & restrooms offered, and personal helmet fitting! They were very organized and efficient in helping the whole group depart on time. Not to mention they were all handsome, over-fifty men assisting us! (married, alas!) So, women, this is the bike tour for you! I was part of a group who enjoyed a city tour with bike leader Gary. I had never been to Boston nor had most of the riders in my group which included: a businessman from London who had just ridden a leg of the tour de France, an overseas educator from Nigeria, a local college student, a young couple from New Orleans, and two medical students and myself, here for work from Texas. So not only was it a bike tour it was a really fun social encounter. In three hours I was able to visit areas of Boston I could never explored on my own - nor would I even have known about them! Gary's knowledge of history, architecture, art and even city planning made it so fun. After the Gary's enthusiasm for the area I found myself wanting to move here! That probably won't happen, but now I know Boston is a fun place to return to, with so many areas to explore further, and I can't wait to return! Thank you everyone at Urban AdvenTours for making my first day in Boston so much fun!

Haven't had my bike out in a while so I called to see if they were open due to Corona Virus Shutdown and Alex (I think) answered. He was polite and told me everything I needed to know to get my bike tuned up. I drove in, and walked up to mythe front entrance with my bike. They had me fill out a form with what I was looking to have done and then also talked to me about the process. Very easy and all of the staff were very polite and friendly. Got a call within less than 24 hours saying my bike was ready and I can come pick it up. I went down and got it. Checkout was easy and I was also looking for some accessories which they helped me with. Thank You for getting me back on the road!!

Adventurers from sunny Maine, we spent our first post vaccination outing with Urban Adventours of Boston! We toured Boston streets on bikes with Lee, our tour guide. Lee is a terrific cyclist, exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Excellent quality bikes, fairly priced and a ton of fun riding and learning about one of America's first and greatest cities! Highly recommended- we picked the day by weather forecast and enjoyed every minute.

Turns out the Duck Tours were tours in semi-aquatic buses that mix history, jokes, and sightseeing. We also got to go into the water and folks took turns driving the duck boat. What was delightful about our tour was our captain who entertained us with magic tricks, punny jokes, dad jokes, and history. We quacked at passerbys, other duck tours, recent graduates, kids in hi-vis vests. He pointed out the marines organized in a park with the Osprey and other planes. I left my knowledge of American history in elementary school, so everything was super fascinating to me. I thought my honey would enjoy this being a historian and all but he didn't care for the jokes, which I thought were the best part. Oh well. Worth a tour when you're in the Boston area!

NEW ENGLAND AQUARIUM DEPARTURE LOCATION…read more The customer service is absolutely terrible. I would not recommend it whatsoever, especially not for a school trip. I went here for my school trip to Boston and my group got treated horribly. The driver was kind and professional, but the assistant's behavior and the overall organization were very poor. When we boarded the bus, we were told we could sit wherever we wanted, so we took the first four seats on both sides. No one on the bus complained. When the assistant got on, she said we had to sit in assigned seats. One older man politely asked where it said that, since there was nothing mentioned about assigned seating. The assistant responded that it was an assigned system, so there were assigned seats. The man checked his receipt, and the assistant mocked him and gave him a nasty look. Everyone was annoyed that they had to change seats. A couple minutes later, she told my school that we had too many people on the bus. One of our chaperone said, "You said 14 students." She replied, "No, I said 14 of you." My chaperone responded, "Oh, that must have been a misunderstanding." After that, the assistant kept blaming us and did not apologize at all, continuing to give nasty looks and a rude attitude. She also said that if we had a problem, we could report her to her manager (she was counting us as we boarded). Then two people went to a different bus. After that, she said we still had one extra person, so someone had to get off and go on another bus. When she said it again, our only chaperone said, "I don't know what you want us to do. You told us 14 students, and now you're kicking most of us off. Do you want me to get off?" The assistant gave her a nasty look and said a chaperone needed to stay on the bus. So my chaperone had enough and said, "Okay we're all getting off, and I will be reporting you." The assistant mocked her and said, "Go right ahead." As we were getting off the bus, she continued giving us nasty looks. Once we were off, the assistant started arguing with my chaperone, and I said, "No, you're just rude." She was being much ruder than what im saying but--I have never experienced such bad customer service. My group walked away, and the assistant stood with her coworkers, all of them giving us nasty looks. On the other two buses from my school, their assistants were calling us rude and disruptive. Our chaperone ended up paying out of pocket for all 14 of us to go to the New England Aquarium. If you are planning a class trip, I would 100% recommend the aquarium over the duck tour. The staff at the aquarium were very kind, and it was really fun, while 99% of the people (in my school) who went on the duck tour said it was boring and most people slept.

Now this tour may not be for everyone, as the title of the tour alludes to.. but if you don't mind the random swear word and aren't easily offended, you'll be like me... cracking up for 3 hours straight. And there was one thing I noticed about Anthony that he doesn't advertise, and may try to track me down for saying on here.... But beneath the gruff exterior was the sweetest guy that seemed genuinely interested in sharing his culture, stories, and amazing food with everyone! We started off at a pizza joint where we got a slice of pizza and an arancini ball. I expected the pizza to be good... and it was fantastic. But I am not a huge fan of arancini and this one had peas in it... also something I am not a huge fan.... But hey, I was on a food tour so I was going to try everything! Thank goodness I did, because this arancini was the stuff of dreams. How in the world could something be THAT much better than what high end Italian restaurants advertise? The last time I had an arancini ball was at a restaurant in Hawaii that won "best Italian food in Hawaii".... And it was only so-so. This arancini ball would make me fly 5,000 just to eat it again! Next up was a deli sub, a coffee shop, ravioli, a pastry shop and lastly an affogato (or gelato if you didn't want coffee that late in the day). Based on the food I received, before factoring in all the stories that Anthony shared, I feel the tour was really underpriced. I wish I hadn't done this the tour on my last day, I would have gone back for another round of everything we tried, as well as everything that was recommended. Heck I may have signed up for the tour again just to experience it all over again!

I had an expectation we would actually be trying lots of chocolates, instead we went to 3 diff places, and had parts of a broken chocolate bar and then had a chocolate martini at the end. Probably adding up to a max $20 total for the actual chocolate we ate. It was disappointing. For $73 I was expecting to actually try chocolates (similar time a wine tasting) and learn what brings out certain tones in chocolate. Instead they took us to 3 chocolate stores (one in a strip mall and one in a tiny liquor store) and basically tried to sell us chocolate from those stores with the incentive of 20% off.
