Sadly had an unpleasant experience here yesterday. When I walked in, no one greeted me. That's fine, people do get busy. But I started to feel uncomfortable when I heard the employees all speaking badly about customers who frequently shop there and their personal lives with needing clothes for homecoming and dates. They were very loud and unprofessional with their conversations. What disappointed me even more was when I wanted to try on some pants, none of the employees helped at all. I saw one of the male employees try to get help for me or so I thought. But while I was waiting, he walked right pass me without a word and the woman who I thought he asked to help looked annoyed when she saw me waiting for a dressing room and just turned around like I didn't exist. Afterwards, I put the jeans on the counter by the register and left. I realized how unprofessional the setting was and maybe they just didn't care. But all in all I just didn't like how they made me feel. And I'm not very familiar with thrifting but if this the experience, I'd rather pay full price for new clothing and shop at a store where I don't question how I'll be treated. read more

When going into sell clothes know ahead of time they don't do good deals, barely take good brand names clothes unless they are two ish years new. The max i've ever gotten each time i've gotten and my friends have gotten is $13. They have ok finds. read more

The staff working today was unprofessional, I was shopping and could just over hear the employees indirectly talking about how they were closed. Google maps said they were open until 7. They could of just told me directly like any other store that they were closing. I would have happily left, I was passing time anyways. Love this place! Super friendly staff & extremely cute clothes and shoes. I donated some stuff and they give you the option of cash or store credit. While I waited for my donations to be sorted through, I shopped around the store & found some real gems! Store is very clean and not crammed, like Plato's. Save yourself some trouble and do not bring your clothes here to try and sell. They will tell you that your clothes smell even though they were fully washed and dried before I brought them here. I have been to this location once or twice with my daughter and she has always been able to find cute items. Usually I am fine on my own so I have never really interacted with the staff much until yesterday. I went up to one of the girls working (her name was Staci if I remember correctly) to ask what I thought was a common question but I was met with extreme rudeness. I'm really not a bad review person but this was out of hand. Ran completely by children. Ruined what was supposed a quick shopping run in 15 mins. This is my second time here and second time my things have gotten misplaced when asked if "I want a room or bin". I had a good amount of clothes set in a room I was offered.. when I get back to try on they're completely gone and I see a sales girl putting them up. Thinking it's an honest mistake I look past say it's okay and proceed to look for the items she put back leaving about 5 pairs of jeans I picked up prior in my fitting room, letting them know I'll be back. After not being Able to find my things I gave up and proceeded to try on the remaining items I had left. Only to find out that the last few items I had were also taken out of the room and put back on the floor. Frustrated, I let the girls know they need to pay more attention and walked out. Never have I been so irritated with a shopping experience. If you don't want to risk shopping for items to be taken back I highly recommend holding on to your things. Uptown cheapskate buford is the BEST store I've ever been too!! The most positive environment! all the girls seem like good friends as they socialized together which made it seem very friendly. The employees keep the store very clean and organized. I felt extremely welcomed as soon as I stepped into the door. Brought my clothes in to sell and to hopefully buy clothes. They give more money back than platos which is nice. Kinda bummed though that we couldn't shop. The store had nice, trendy items but they said they didn't have registers or anything so we couldn't buy... even though the sign in the front said they're selling limited items and we weren't told that we couldn't shop until they saw me with clothes in my hand. They said they haven't even had opening day yet which is confusing to me too since there's no signs saying anything about it. Looking forward to opening day though. read more

I have been to this location since it opened, probably ten times I have always had a pretty good experience but when I went today that was not the case. Right when my sister and I walked in the door (barely in the store) a Middle Aged women ran up to us. She did the usual store introduction but then proceeded to tell me I had to go take my bag to the car. That was all she said "you will have to take your bag outside" and she walked away. My purse was not even large, it was a shoulder purse (Kavu bag). I have never been asked to take my bag to the car when shopping here before. I wasn't given an explanation or anything if this was their new policy. Then while shopping another employee was watching my sister and I shop the whole ten minuets we were in the store. We ended up leaving because we felt very uncomfortable. I will definitely not be coming back to shop at this store. read more
