Food is good, service was terrible. First the guy taking our order couldn't be bothered to separate our two couples tickets. Acted like it was going to be a huge pain in his rear. Then, 4 out of 4 salads we ordered were wrong. Not one was correct how we ordered them. The brought the pizza but never brought us any plates. Never brought us refills. 2stars because of poor service. Pizza and chicken parm were delicious. However i ordered it takeout, when i got back to my room no takeout utensils for the chicken parm meal. I called and they were so rude said I had to ask for it. Also when paying i left a custom tip the person chuckled like they were expecting a 20% tip on a takeout order. I'm sorry since when do these places expect a tip when I come pic up a meal?? Ridiculous they packaged it and handed it to me. Pizza is "OK": thin on sauce that wasn't flavorful, though with ok quality toppings. Crust is thin and seemed well prepared. Overall a bit bland. Seemed like nice folks, prompt and accurate service. I think this is a great little pizza place. A bit over priced. 1 topping pizza cost me $24. Pizza is good for Key West. It was very busy when I came in. Lots of people drinking alcohol. pretty good! we got garlic bread, and it was pretty good. nothing super special, but it was still yummy. pepperoni pizza was also pretty good, but it was a little sweet. personally i consider myself more of a savory pizza person over sweet, but this was still enjoyable. i put parmesan cheese on it and it was really good. not super crowded, was a calm environment. staff was very kind as well! i would recommend stopping by if you're in the area. most of the bad reviews are irrelevant and not accurate. read more

Ordered a pizza for pick up and was told 30 min. Arrived 30 min later, paid for said pizza and waited another 10 min. (It will be ready soon). 5 min later they said it just went in the oven and it will be another 25 minutes. We were obviously upset and spoke up about the screw up, and the owner states "Your order is cancelled, we don't want your business". Two try's this week and the second was worse than the first. We ate in the first time. My chicken parm was tasteless and dry. The pizza was pretty good and the service was fine. The second time I came in a placed a carry out order for a single cheese pizza without sauce. The gentlemen wrote that down and I picked up the pizza 20 minutes later. When I got back to our house I opened a pizza with sauce. I called and the gentlemen insisted I was wrong and that he would not remake the pizza and I could bring it back and get a refund. We ordered a medium and a small pizza as well as antipasti. Antipasti was written in the box but inside was a Greek salad which was probably half the price. Absolutely worst dinning experience I ever had. My wife and I used to frequent this restaurant over 16 years ago when we lived in Marathon. Though I read a number of negative reviews on Yelp about this place, now that we were back in the area, we were anxious to give our old spot a try. It was a Friday night and moderately busy. All it appeared to be on staff was two owners serving tables. After waiting at our table for 5 minutes, a lady comes by with two menus, drops them off and just walks away. Strange, but OK. About 10 minutes later, a guy comes back with an order pad and says, "What do you want?" We give him the order and he does scurry back with our drinks. 45 minutes later, the lady comes back with our appetizer, drops it off, says enjoy, and scurries off again. Yes, appetizer fairly good. About 10 minutes later, our meals come up. Very basic toasted sub sandwiches. Mine was fairly decent. My wife's had burnt spots on the bottom. I know this can be a problem in Italian restaurants which make pizza. Cheese from a previous pizza drips on oven floor, burns, new pizza or sandwich slides in, and old cheese spot gets burned into the bottom of the food. Just need to clean the oven a little more often to prevent this. Also, the meatballs in my wife's sandwich didn't taste right. Bottom line, she couldn't eat it. After about 20 minutes, the lady comes back, asks if there's anything else. My wife informs her what's wrong with the sandwich. The lady gets defensive, and states that all their food is homemade, and that they've never had a complaint about any of their food. My wife suggests she check her Yelp page, as there are several reviews complaining about the food and service on there. The lady just leaves and doesn't say anything. About 5 minutes later, the guy comes back, tells us he wants us to leave and never come back, or he'll call the police for threatening him and his wife. I say what threats? He says your wife is threatening to write a negative review about us and I'm not putting up with threats. I just want you to leave. By now a few people from other tables are looking our way. I explained to the guy, no one is threatening anyone, and that my wife is stating you should check your Yelp page to read the complaints, because as we've experienced, they are fairly accurate. He sill got in a huff, and said I still want you to leave and don't come back here again, then he stormed off. So we started to gather our things as it was getting a little uncomfortable in the restaurant with everyone looking at us, but before we got out of there, the wife of this guy came flying out with a bill for 40 bucks. Guess they did want us to leave quite that fast. So I paid the lady, and we got out of there. All this could have been avoided if when my wife told the lady there was something wrong with her food if the lady would have replied with: I'm sorry, don't know how that happened. Can I make you a new one or maybe something else? My suggestion : If you decide to go here you may or may not be disappointed with the food. You'll likely be disappointed with the service. The food is reasonably priced especially for the Keys, however, if you don't like your food or have a problem, I don't recommend complaining about it. You just might get asked to leave. read more

I had a sit-down dinner and enjoyed the pizza, a salad and a half-carafe of chianti. While not cheap, I was satisfied with the quality. The next meal was take out and I ordered the pizza, a chicken parmesan and a chicken parm sub. While the pizza was again satisfactory and I'm told the sub was good, the chicken parmesan is perhaps the worst I've ever had. Not only was it a small portion(1 tiny piece of chicken) for the $18.50, but it only came with a salad of lettuce and cheese and there were no other vegetables. Terrible service. For our last night in Florida, we decided to order pizza to enjoy at our resort. When picking up our pizza and salad, we asked for silverware. The lady working very rudely said they don't have silverware. We asked how could that be if they were serving us salad. She was so rude. We then gave her our credit card so we could check out-despite no silverware and she quite literally threw it back at us and said she doesn't take American Express. Amazing! They are so nice and the food is amazing. First time costumer just wanting some spaghetti lol traveling from Key West to Miami , late dinner. We googled places and this one showed up with three and half stars so we went for it. It was almost closing time and they still were so nice to cook us our food and stay open. Turned out it's a Family Owned, which is awesome. Locals helping locals, we own a Family Sign Shop in Key West. The place is SUPER clean and welcoming, the owners were nice and the prices are great. Food time came and WOW!! We got the pepperoni, mushroom small pizza, wine and the spaghetti dinner, sausage, includes garlic bread and a salad with ranch. Holy gees!!! Everything was super delish. I would bet that they use frozen premade dough, and add toppings. Atleast that's how it looked and tasted. Not fresh, not original, very greasy, not as good as Dominos. I would say it's not the worst I've ever had, hence the two stars instead of one, I defintely regret spending the $7 that I did on an 8" personal pizza, which frankly, is a rip off. The service left a lot to be desired. For a family run, local place, this shop was very unfriendly, cold, and unwelcoming. Not what I expaected at all. For comparison of standards, I prefer NJ crisp thin crust tomato pies and pizzas that take 7 minutes to cook in a real pizza oven, not this 20 minute toaster oven bs that they call pizza in Marathon.
