$40 bucks for a disappointing evening for two. We walked in to find two other couples trying to figure out where to sit. Although there were 5 available tables the layout is poor, but what are you gonna do. I was there to have a fun evening, with good food, and live music. I placeed my order at the counter with a young man who was not good at multitasking, but insisted on doing it anyways. While helping the person in front of me he asked for my order as well, but kept walking away while I was giving it to him. I ordered two glasses, sorry tiny glasses of cabernet. He said they had "Drumheller". Drumheller runs about $8.99-12.00 for a bottle at the grocery store. I then ordered a small pizza and a ham sandwich. Before I could tell him I wanted swiss cheese, he began listing cheeses which included feta and mozzarella. I realized he wasn't paying attention and he thought I was ordering cheese for my pizza, so I asked him if those were choices for a ham sandwich as well. Once we got that straight he walked away again. When he came back I quickly said blue cheese on my salad. He said "I know." How did he know? I guess the same way he new what kind of bread I wanted and that I wanted the sandwich toasted. He just kept saying I know. I was handed two little glasses of wine, and a receipt to sign. The glasses were the kind you'd get when you ordered a tiny orange juice at a breakfast place when you were a kid. I paid and hoped for the best. I set the glasses down on our table which rocked back and forth the rest of the evening. And yes, we did try fixing it and no, not with sugar packets. My salad with blue cheese was on the table within 15 minutes. 10 minutes later my sandwich arrived cold with a couple of small thin slices of deli ham, folded to look like a stack, cheese, and a piece of lettuce and missing the oil and vinegar dressing. Oh and no pizza . I ask one of the employees if he could find out what happened to the pizza. Never saw him again. We waited awhile then I asked the young man who took my order. He came back promptly to the table to say that it would be out in about 6 minutes. I think what he meant to say was it was never made you'll have to wait about 16 minutes. It was obvious the pizza had not been made. Here's an idea: Just be honest and try to make it right for the customer. You know tell the truth and maybe even offer the table a free day old dessert or another thimble of wine. During all this we sat through over an hour of the musician warming up....or so we thought. That was a real disappointment, because that was what took us there in the first place. This was my second time eating there. I always give second chances. Some people say, "third times a charm." I'll let you know. Overall experience ....poor! Food...ok. A little pricey for what you get read more
