Bought a used lawnmower there back in May. I just use it to mow my front lawn. Mow an average of every other week. I just had to take it back in for the third time because it wouldn't start. The first 2 times they got it running again at no charge. The gentleman said something about "bad gas" being the problem. This time he charged me $101! and again mentioned " bad gas". They knowingly sold me an unreliable mower. And I wouldn't recommend them. read more

Went there to inquire about a lawn mower repair. Was completely ignored for an awkwardly long time. Finally was seen to, and can tell you right now they don't want you. They don't want customers. They don't like you and you won't like them. How this business is still around is beyond me. They must have some ongoing contracts that keep them open. read more

0 stars horrible service. I dropped off my lawnmower for a simple cable replacement and was told that it would be ready for pick up next day. After at least 10 phone calls and 4 weeks later I finally was called yesterday that my lawnmower was finished. When they rolled out my lawnmower I noticed the bag was missing. After being told for 45 minutes that it didn't have a bag when I dropped it off, the mechanic found my bag. They didn't even offer a discount for all the trouble or accusing me that it didn't have a bag. Many of the phone conversations had he couldn't even find my lawn mower to get me a status. His response was always I will find it and call you back. But never received a call back. Horrible operation if you take your equipment here it may get lost amongst the un organized madness. read more

Disappointing experience today. I've used this shop multiple times with decent service & fair prices. Today, not so much. I had brought two weed trimmers for repair about a month ago. After not hearing from the shop, I stopped by to check on things. Unfortunately, nothing had been done but they said they would get to it. About a week goes by & I pick them up at a cost of $177 parts & labor. I should have checked them there. One ended up working & one did not. I took it back. I checked on it about a week later only to be told it's not worth the cost to repair (engine shot), better off to buy a new one. I was given a $25 credit. So essentially, one had been repaired & one not even looked at, I assume...??? Going to be looking for another shop in the future. read more

I bought a saw blade for my pole saw from them. I brought in my old one to be sure it would fit on the handle. I was assured that it would fit, and he even held it up to show me that it looked pretty close. But when I got it home it did not fit. There was a quarter of an inch part of the handle that was blocking the hole that the saw was supposed to go in, so the screw wouldn't fit. I called and told them the problem and they said just bring it in and they would fix it. I don't live close, and it takes me half an hour to get there, but I brought it in and he said I had to come back for it. Sigh. So today I went to get it and they charged me $15 to fix what they told me would work!! I was not happy and told them so, because had I known that they would charge me, I would have brought the saw blade back, or fixed it myself. What a ripoff!! I could have bought it for a lot less in the first place on Amazon, but like to help small businesses. Guess that is not always a good idea. So disappointed in them. read more

I took my Honda 2000 generator in for repair. They told me I needed a new carburetor. So I had them install a new one. My generator never ran good again. We just had a power outage and it burley ran when I connected it to my refrigerator. I look at my receipt and I paid for a new carburetor. I looked at YouTube on how to repair it. I took off the carburetor and it was obvious it was the old one. I ordered a new one and replaced it myself and it runs like new. Make sure you get what you pay for. read more

So I'm writing my first negative 1 star review on yelp. On the phone he quoted me 42$ for a tune up. When I show up he states that for 42$ he'll tune it up but no warranty or assurances. But for 62$ he would give it a better tune up and guaranteed that my lawn mower would start. We agree on the price. I help him help another elderly person get 2 machines off her truck (I don't know the lady but she was elderly and jose the shops worker wasn't coming out to help after the owner kept yelling for him, yesterday was pretty hot and I did not think this lady should be made to wait) and then I sign my info on the paper and the owner of the shop told me to come back the next day and it would be 62$, I also asked if he would sharpen the blade for 62$ and he said yes "everything everything 62$". Well today my elderly mother went to go get our machine and he would not release it until she paid 95$ , the owner refused to speak to me on the phone and was rude to my mother. He would not explain why the 30$were being charge. This man is rude, ungrateful and a thief. F@?k this place. I'm all about small business and supporting those in our community. Please see my reviews on other local shops. I'm not here to bash. But this place is not representing small business or upland correctly. I hope he replies to me here! read more

This guy is a liar and a thief he should not be in business. After months of waiting to get our Weedwhacker repaired it which he never called us to let us know if it was ready I decide to stop in and pick it up and he says he does not have it. He claims that he had called us but that's impossible because I know my stepdad's retired and always has his phone with them and he said if he doesn't hear from people then he sells them or uses him for parts so therefore he got his money for the repair of the part he had to order and the Weedwhacker and we have nothing. but he was willing to sell us another one for a discounted rate. One is too many star for this place. The owner who runs the business is rude and has no concern for the customer. I took my hedge trimmer to him and he did not even opened the motor to see what was wrong with it and charged me. next day when I went back the worker told me about the fact that he did not worked on the hedger. Took my lawnmower In for repair and a month later my lawn mower does not work anymore. Not saying it's the owners fault, my mower is old but I did pay 90 dollars for a tune-up. My cord ripped off so I took it in again. The owner (not sure of his name) was extremely busy. He set up a new cord immediately for 30 dollars. I was asking some questions and he said go to Home Depot. I felt rushed and just ended up leaving. I'm sure he's been doing it for a long time. He'll get the job done but it was too expensive for me and you get zero customer service. I'll try my luck elsewhere and see if I can find a shop that cares and wants to help. About 2 months ago I took 2 Homelite Chain saws in for tune-up. When he saw them he said "oh, you bring me antiques". He then charged me a little over $300 for both saws. When I finally get to use them 1 won't start and the other would run but was very hard to re-start. I took them back and again he says "oh. you bring antiques back again". I proceeded to explain the problem. He stops me and says no receipt, I no look at them. I have to many customer, can't remember everyone. Really? You recognized me when I walked in! Never again. This shop does a steady stream of repair business among professional gardeners and lawn cutters. Seems like they have their niche. I brought in an aircraft tug needing a replacement gas engine, the kind typically found on lawnmowers. The head man recognized the article and was very reassuring about the replacement. A replacement Tecumseh engine was not available so on went a high end Honda which wasn't a good fit without making new holes for mounting. All went well. They made the mods and got it to work. No problems. Not perfect, not cosmetic, not even pretty, but functional and satisfactory. All in all, good enough for my intended purposes. The hired help seemed eager but of the shade tree mechanic variety. It took a couple of extra days and required a couple of extra visits but I'm satisfied. They did a good job. Place was extremely dirty. Don't go if you think your lawn mower is completely messed up, because they charge 20 dollars to check it (and that does not include anything, it's just how much it costs for the estimate) plus you can't see them working on your machines so they might be stealing parts from you. Please don't go there. Owner is an Asian man who you can barely understand cause of his accent, receipts are by hand and he has extremely messy handwriting. He was extremely rude to me because he doesn't tell you that he charges for an estimate, and I didn't want to pay 20 dollars for nothing. While we were arguing he yelled at me. I recommend if you have an old machine and want to get it fixed or tuned up, to go anywhere but there. Or buy a new machine. read more
