I recently had my water heater replaced on 11/2/2021, by this company, via my home warranty. I primarily spoke with Amanda and Eric, and both were very nice and professional. They also responded back to me in a timely manner. The job was professionally done, and Eric and his assistant were careful not to damage the walls or make a mess. Overall I am very satisfied with my new water heater, and ohhhh soooo grateful to have hot water again lol read more

The owner is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Quality work at a very fair price

This team is amazing. They are on time and know their stuff. Fixed our water heater and got us up and going quickly. Great team!!

Phenomenal service! Found some issues with my tub plumbing and figured out a long term solution (when they didn't have to). Will use again!

Thank you Eric for taking such great care of us. He came out and gave us options and we were able to resolve the problem.

Eric of Up to Code Plumbing is an amazing plumber. Two parts to this review. Part 1. My mom had another plumber tear apart a shower fixer that wasn't too old and purchased another $1700 fixture that required that the newly remodeled shower be torn apart in order to replace the fixture. He never returned to do the job. Eric was recommended to me by a friend. Eric looked at what the other plumber had torn up, he found that the fixture had a lifetime warranty, contacted the mfg and registered the fixture. The mfg shipped out the parts needed at no cost, then Eric returned to install the parts. Shower up and working for less than $300! Big difference when you hire someone who knows what they are doing and they turn out to be an honest individual. Part 2. We had a hot water pipe spring a leak under the house at my mom's place. Eric showed up and set up equipment to dry out the water damage. This actually took a few weeks to accomplish, it was raining continuously, which made it very difficult to dry out. He was there checking with moisture meters regularly monitoring the damage so that mold would not develop. He later returned to change out the pipe under the tight crawl space under the house. Again, thank you Eric with To Code Plumbing for doing an outstanding job! read more

The team members at Up to Code, Ananda and Eduardo, were super friendly and professional.

Eduardo was a very informative & professional plumber. He snaked my clogged kitchen sink and completed service within 30min. The very same clog that another company claimed couldn't be cleared without tearing down stucco and replacing pipe. Thank goodness for honest folks! Would definitely recommend Up To Code for your plumbing needs. read more

Copied from my other account: Shout out to Eduardo at Up to Code Plumbing!  It was great to see his diagnosis was the same as mine and he didn't try to up sell any additional services.  Came in and replaced a leaky garbage disposal and was in/out in less than 1/2 hour!!! Excellent service! read more

Eric is the Best! I trust him wholeheartedly! He is honest, has integrity and is always awesome! I first met Erik when my house flooded with 15" of hot water. He remediated for me, came back repeatedly to help when the contractor I hired scammed me and left a very dangerous situation of a live electrical wire in water under my home. He saved me $10k when another company tried to scam me and claim I needed a ton of work done when I only had a leaking shower head. I always use Eric and am totally loyal to him and his crew. Up to Code is awesome! read more

Service performed as expected. I was pleased with the work performed by the technician.

Oscar Febres was great! He worked hard until he fixed the root of our plumbing issue. I would recommend your company to family and friends in a heartbeat! read more

Worst company I have ever dealt with. The guy came over here, and spent 5 minutes trying to find a parking because his truck was too tall for our building garage. I found a parking, but he kept saying it is too far from my residence despite my offer to help carry his equipment. I found another parking much closer to my place after this idiot left, and called the company within 2-3 minutes after that demanding that he should come back to perform his job, but it was no avail. Never use this horrible company. read more

Just used Up To Code Plumbing. JOSH came out to my house and just by looking at the wall knew what kind of pipe was inside the wall. He opened up the wall and quickly diagnosed the problem and what had to be done. He had great attention to detail and made sure it was done right. He triple checked his work and showed me the problem and keep me in the "loop" of what needed to be done. There were no surprise which was nice. Overall my experience with up to code plumbing was great. Josh even made sure no dirt, water, or anything was left behind. Great experience with JOSH from up to code plumbing read more

Water heater went out. Eduardo checked it and ordered part. Part arrived Friday so too late to schedule installation, but Eric saved the day by coming over early Saturday morning and preventing a weekend of cold water showering. Both Eduardo and Eric were terrific. read more

Absolutely horrible. Late. Terrible attitude. Said he didn't see an issue. Waste of money to have them come out to look. American home shield should be embarrassed for using this company. Look at all the horrible reviews. A real plumbing company came out the next day. Found the problem. Redid most of my plumbing and I paid them close to 7k. read more

Eduardo is a gem. He's been to our house twice through American Home Shield. I would use them even if I had a plumbing issue that needed to be handled outside of AHS. Also, we placed the service order on Sunday, and that evening Amanda called to schedule for Monday. They then rescheduled to Tuesday, and Eduardo came early in the 3 hour window. The background: We moved into our current house in September, 2021. We had issues with the sink in the master bathroom immediately. AHS sent out a plumber which had a one star rating. Without going into that nightmare, the plumber said we needed to replace the faucet. The plumbing company told us it wasn't covered and we would need to pay them $250 for the faucet. After weeks of calls, AHS cashed us out. We replaced the faucet and that didn't help. We needed something else checked so called in the master sink again as well. Shock, it wasn't the faucet. Eduardo fixed it while he was here. No call to AHS, no need for new parts. Just fixed. Thanks, Eduardo. read more

Eric responded to our warranty service call and was extremely professional, knowledgeable about our specific type of plumbing setup and went above and beyond to communicate with the home warranty company on our behalf. He also took the time to talk me through suggested maintenance and care for our system, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. read more

Josh Cox arrived within the time frame I was given. Solved the problem quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend. Very happy.

Eric was amazing! Being a customer via AHS, and having dealt with multiple vendors through AHS, up to code is definitely a vendor i'd happily deal with again!! Initial appointment had to be rescheduled due to an emergency, but only to the next day, so that was fine. The rescheduled timeframe was 12-3pm, but Eric made an effort to make it happen before 8am! After his inspection, he submitted his estimate within a couple of hours, so quick in fact AHS was able to review and approve the SAME day. AND THEN, on top of that, up to code reached out the same afternoon to schedule the water heater replacement foe THE NEXT DAY! Anyone who has been without hot water for a couple days will understand the desperation! Yelp reader: if you are someone who goes off of yelp reviews, don't let all the negative reviews fool you! I too was hesitant at first, but am so happy we went with Eric and team!! read more

Josh was very professional He completed the work in a timely manner, Was very respectable! Josh was my service rep. I had an issue with my water heater. Josh showed up on time. Immediately diagnosed the issue as a thermal coupling problem. Had the supplies in his truck and fixed the issue within 15 minutes - free of charge under the home warranty. I couldn't be more pleased with how the whole interaction. I previously had a different plumbing company come look at the water heater and they told me I needed a new one without even trying to fix the old one. Glad I got a second opinion with Josh from Up To Code. Saved me over $1,100! Thanks again Josh! read more

They were extremely helpful. Very professional. Very prompt. What I thought was going to be an issue was a very simple job. Would hire them again. read more

Up to Code Plumbing has been to my home 4 times to fix various plumbing issues. The first time they were great. Was very satisfied. But it's been downhill ever since then. All the plumbers (3) they have sent to my house have been nice and professional. No issues there. On May 1st I put in a request to fix a toilet that was stopping up. They scheduled service for May 8th. The plumber came out and after much effort, made the problem worse. He said he couldn't fix it and said the office would arrange to send somebody else. Now it's May 13th and I still have a non working toilet filled to the brim with sewer sludge. (See picture to see how the plumber left my home). They haven't called with any updates or advised when somebody else will be coming to fix the toilet. They are called daily and say they are still waiting for the plumber to submit his report so they can proceed. Meanwhile, my house smells like sewage and they don't seem to care. Would definitely stay away from this company. After much hassle and many visits, Up To Code Plumbing was able to fix our plumbing. The plumber who finally succeeded was very professional and did a great job. Much of the issue was with the home warranty company that hired them. read more

I've used the company twice in the last six weeks. Both times a technician came quickly, swiftly diagnosed the problem and came back within 24 hours with the right parts. Their office staff is "on it," and the technician Eduardo is particularly wonderful. He walked us through every step of replacing a water heater and gave great advice on how to deal with our home warranty insurance company--which was being something of a pill. read more

Yes excellent service, courteous and very professional. I would highly recommend this company. Superb.

We had a leak in our bathroom ceiling. We called them to come check it out and they said they are not doing any work until we get an asbestos and lead test. Fair enough, so we called another company to get that done and taken care of. Next week the plumber comes back, looks at the hole in the ceiling , and says " I don't know where the leak is coming from find out and call me back " excuse me ? Am I the plumber or are you ? It's your job to find out where it's leaking from. Why did we hire you guys in the first place ? Spoke to the manager who also did not care and told us to figure it out and call her. Very unprofessional. read more

The service was fast and efficient. Oscar the serviceman was very professional. He corrected the problem in our sink.

Solid, work swapping a Tank water heater for a tankless model, and cleanly integrating plumbing into the existing system.

Excellent and responsive service from both Amanda (in the office) and Josh, the plumbing tech. The problem was quickly resolved with a minimum of fuss and no mess. I highly recommend this company. read more

Our tankless water heater stopped providing hot water all of a sudden. Thankfully our home warranty covers that so we were able to be connected with up to code plumbing. I think $75 is reasonable to cover everything that could pop up for a home warranty. They were able to get us a pretty quick appointment woth Eduardo the tankless tech and they stayed within the time window communicating with us every step of the way. I appreciated the call to say the tech would be coming closer to the end of the window and the call and texts saying when he was on his way. Even gave us tracking like uber! I felt bad he had to work in the heat so i dont want to say he was unfriendly because I cant imagine trying to work in the heat like that and try to be perky. But he did find the problem and it ended up being a quick fix. Paid cash and we have our hot water back! Thank you! read more
