My family and I had a wonderful experience with Mattucci Plumbing from beginning to end. After trying to find a good company to help with our older water heater and garbage sink disposal -- we called Mike and he sent Andres out the same day. After our quote, we ended up being serviced on the day the next day our hot water went out by Jorge. Great value for awesome customer service, in-phone & in-person. read more

The service was excellent. The technician was kind and checked the warranty of our two-year-old water heater. They replaced the part, and we only had to pay for the labor. read more

A great company that's honest, easy to talk to and great work. I hired them for rooting my sewage line after another company tried to rip me off. read more

It was a pipe leak by the water heater. Their plumbing stood back with hands on his hips and said "something like that we charge $1440". I thought he was kidding. It was a 30 minute job, max. WTF. (EJ) read more

I had a gas line leak at my house. Victor from Mattucci Plumbing came out and did an estimate for me. He came up with a solution that did not require a full repipe which resulted in the cost being 1/3 the cost estimated by other plumbers. He did the work in one day and when I called the gas company they approved his work and turned my gas back on. Victor will be the first person I call for future plumbing problems. read more

I recently had a pinhole leak in a copper pipe behind the wall, and Mattucci sent Alfonso to handle the repair. He did an outstanding job--carefully opening the wall, fixing the leak, and even taking care of my toilet supply line and wax gasket while he was here. Alfonso was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the process, and his customer service was excellent. I truly appreciate the quality of his work and would highly recommend him and Mattucci Plumbing. read more

Meh. They fixed the issue, but overall the customer experience was underwhelming. Will continue my search for a plumber.

We recently needed our water heater serviced & Mattucci was a provider thru the extended warranty. The name was familiar, I'd seen the truck in our area. They were great from my first call. Super courteous & helpful. I honestly thought I'd get the run around since it was thru warranty. I was completely WRONG! The tech Andres arrived on time, actually a little earlier than expected! He was very efficient, informative and courteous. I highly recommend this company. Thanks for the amazing service! read more

Arrived home at 10:30PM on a Saturday night from a long trip only to find a plumbing disaster. I tried to run a load of laundry while unpacking and soon heard the sound of rushing water coming from the crawlspace. It was water overflowing from an old badly installed toilet drain because there was apparently a clog in the sewer line. This drain had not revealed itself as a problem before because the house sewer pipes had not backed up since we bought the house 10 months ago. I saw Mattucci Plumbing recommended through a Google Reddit search and saw they're open 24 hours and nearby so I gave them a frantic call. Their answering service and dispatch quickly coordinated a visit from their plumber on call, David. By midnight David was already under the house troubleshooting the issue and figured out we must have a clog on the house side of the front yard cleanout. He was able to clear the clog from the crawlspace cleanout and get our sewer lines back in business. Really a tremendous relief to be able to get this resolved so quickly after discovering what was the worst homeownership emergency we've yet faced, and the price for the fix was very reasonable. I don't know if after hours work affected the price but it was very fair in my opinion. I have a tendency to ask too many questions but David took it in stride and was very thorough in explaining his thinking and gave me something of an education on sewer pipes. We're already planning to call them again to get the many other plumbing problems resolved (including the previous owner's bad toilet install). Very satisfied with this first experience with Mattucci Plumbing. read more

Quality, value and effectiveness!! No pressure for upsell and honest. Thank you Joseph. He finished within his estimate. I have had no issues since my install of my toilet. read more

Great efficient service (came within one day) and he was able to pinpoint the issue which was a broken appliance and not a plumbing issue. However he did a thorough check to make sure nothing else was awry and that was much appreciated. read more

Mattucci Plumbing just finished replacing a root infested section of my main drain from my house to the street. Tyler, Olsi and Matt from Mattucci did a beautiful job. It's too bad they had to bury their beautiful work. They promised one day of prep, one day of pipe pulling to replace my old clay pipe with new pipe, and one day for the city's inspection and their cleanup. Everything went according to plan, and I believe their price was reasonable. I waited for decades to take care of this problem because I thought that it would be enormously expensive to dig up the entire 30' from my house to the sidewalk. That would produce enough dirt to cover almost 1/2 of my front yard. I considered pipe lining, but I was concerned that I couldn't clear any future problems with a snake without damaging the lining. Instead of digging a major trench or lining the old drain, Mattucci dug a hole at each end of the old pipe and pulled the new pipe from hole to hole. The STD-17 pipe they used is both flexible for installation and very strong for a very long lifetime afterwards and no more roots. They discussed the plans ahead of time with the city senior inspector before beginning work, so there were no problems with the city permit or the final inspection. Tyler, Olsi and Matt had previously completed many pipe pulls similar to mine, so there were no hiccups or price increases. I was surprised how much effort they spent on the third day repacking the dirt and cleaning up their work. They had saved patches of grass before they initially dug the two holes and they put each patch back exactly where it came from. Except for the newly installed cleanouts, there was no sign of the extensive work they had performed during the previous three days. I was impressed and very happy with their work. For a complex job like this one, I would definitely go with Mattucci again. read more

This firm never finished repairing our toilet. Our water supply valve was leaking and it was replaced. But the water to the tank would constantly go on and off, and that was not fixed. They charged us $285 and wanted to charge us for another visit to repair a problem that they should have fixed previously. We previously used Mattucci Plumbing for a $7,000 main water line replacement to our home. However, they evidently don't guarantee their work to fix a toilet and don't value a previous customer. We won't use them again. read more

A 5 star company, and solid service rep.. Victor came out to my house to repair my sump pump and to change a valve that was old and worn out ; he explained the problem to me, and sought my permission to go purchase a new valve mechanism at the plumbing supply company; after I approved it, Victor quickly went to obtain the part and returned 45 minutes later, changed out the bad valve for the new valve and presented me with an invoice and a guarantee; Everything went better than I could've ever expected, and the price was very fair ! Mattucci Plumbing - July, 2024. After all my efforts to fix a slow draining toilet failed, it was time to call a plumber. I called Mattucci because they advertise in our church bulletin. The person who answered the phone was friendly and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Our plumber, Rudy, arrived on time. He first thought we had a partial clog and said it would be $150 to run the auger through the toilet. The auger did not make the toilet drain any faster. Undaunted, Rudy put on a jumpsuit and went under the house to inspect the pipes. The house pipes were properly plumbed and Rudy showed me pictures. Because the pipes were not the problem Rudy said we needed a new toilet. I ordered a 1.28 gpf Toto Ultramax II online for $577 via Build.com. Mattucci did not charge us for the unsuccessful auger, only $250 for the under house pipe inspection. The next day, Rudy went and picked up our new toilet in Carson, no charge, and brought it to our house. He removed the old toilet (a 17 year old Toto Carlyle) and we immediately saw the problem: a stalactite of weird ossified you-know-what partially blocking the old toilet's plastic drain adaptor, probably caused in part by the use of flushable wipes. Don't use flushable wipes. Get a bidet toilet seat like a Toto K300 or, our choice, an Alpha UX Pearl. But I digress. Rudy took the old toilet out and dollied it away, along with the hideous plastic drain adaptor. He brought in the new toilet, grabbed a new wax ring from his truck and installed the new toilet - right on the money first time. Rudy hooked up the new braided steel water supply line, installed the toilet seat that came with the toilet, turned on the water and confirmed no leaks then ran a bead of caulk around the base of the toilet. He packed up his tools and the box the new toilet came in, wheeled the old toilet out to his truck and loaded it and the packaging up. Easy peasy (for me, not for Rudy; the old toilet - a one-piece Toto - was a heavy porcelain beast). The new toilet is fantastic, flushes like a dream and uses less water than the 1.6 gpf Carlyle. Also, the Ultramax we ordered is ADA compliant, so the seat height is an inch and a half higher - easier and more comfy for us old folks. Total price for all that service - fetching the new toilet, uninstalling the old toilet, unpacking and installing the new toilet, hauling away the old toilet along with all the packaging - $400. Such a deal. I recommend Mattucci Plumbing and will definitely call them when we have another plumbing problem. read more

Excellent communication, and Jorge arrived under the quoted two hours on Sunday of a holiday weekend. He put the shoe protectors on and got to work. As good as it gets. Our washer drain line was clogged. I happen to notice soap suds coming out while on the spin cycle while doing laundry. Some ran down the side wall near the mess. I may have used a little extra soap. This never happens as I am a person that uses very little soap as I know what can happen. I called Mattucci as i have had them out before. They originally were supposed to come between 3 and 5 but the dispatcher said he could come sooner. It was great as i needed to wash clothes. Eric promptly showed up and was very nice! He snaked the line and checked everything out. I got a very generous senior discount which made my day. He was very quick and did a great job. What more to say. I am glad they were there for me. read more

We ended up having an unexpected gas leak and the gas company would not turn our gas back on until we had those leaks fixed and passed their gas test. We needed a plumber asap cause the weather was getting colder and we have 3 young kids to keep warm. Mattucci plumbing didn't hesitate to help. We were delighted to work with Mauricio and Juan who were a fun, respectful and a skilled team. They worked efficiently and found 3 leaks. These guys fixed the leaks immediately and were fairly priced. They communicated with us every step of the way retesting the lines with every fix. They did an excellent job and saved our home from what could have been a dangerous gas problem; we now have a trusted plumbing company that we can 100% rely on. Thanks Mauricio and Juan . read more

FANTASTIC service. We had what we thought was a basic clogged kitchen sink, however after multiple attempts to clear it (including using another local plumber who didn't have the right equipment), with dishes piling up and relatives flying in for the holidays, we decided to give Mattucci a call. An appointment was quickly and efficiently scheduled (no answerphones, requests for texts etc.), and less than 24 hours later Rudy Perez came to our rescue! His service was outstanding, he was incredibly polite/courteous, he cleaned up thoroughly and when we realized that the scope of the issue was bigger than anticipated (required a 100' snake going through most of the house), Rudy cleared his schedule to help. The price was reasonable and we'll absolutely be using them again. read more

Andres and Alfonso were so helpful, professional, on time, calm AND of course they were amazing at identifying and providing fixes for our plumbing issues. Andres went above and beyond answering questions. We called because my mom's home had water leaking out of a bathroom toilet & shower that ran on the adjacent hardwood floors - yes, a mess! Andres and Alfonso set up and cleaned up taking great care of the space they were in. They were polite, professional and efficient with their time. Andres patiently and clearly explained what he was doing to identify the problem and what our options were. In our case he had to leave to get parts, but he returned on time to finish up the job. All of these details add up - I was especially appreciative of their kind nature since we were in my mom's home. Everyone who answers the phone are excellent - they are calm when you're distressed and they patiently listen then reassure you a technician will come help...! Luis and Mike who answer phones are both great! Plumbing issues always feel inconvenient and a pain but seriously, knowing Matucci is here makes me feel ready for whatever plumbing issues might come up next. Definitely recommend Mattucci!! I'm buying a house in Redondo Beach and needed a second opinion regarding some plumbing issues that were called out by the general inspection. As I have not bought the house yet, I'm not trying to fix anything... I just want to know what is involved in fixing assorted issues down the road. Not knowing anyone in the area, I turned to Yelp and thought I'd give Mattucci Plumbing a shot. Keep in mind, any plumbing business can send a plumber out to give an opinion. Since that plumber is not actually fixing anything, you may not know until you actually go to fix it if they were wrong. Anyway, Mario was who they sent out and he was great. He was kind of, "Hey, let's go throw a pressure gauge on the hose bib" and "Let's go lay eyes on the tankless water heater". The attitude was great, my confidence in his opinion was high. He was THINKING and MAKING SUGGESTIONS instead of just sort of wondering how little work he can do to move on to the next call. When I buy this house, Matucci is who I will be calling. read more

Our experience- horrible customer service and field employee(s) unskilled/untrained in supporting customers and were rude, abusive (using bully & intimidation tactics), and are extremely unprofessional. My wife said a member of the crew cussed her out and used very foul language. It was so bad that formal complaints were filed with SCG & also Mattucci over unacceptable performance & retaliation concerns. The police were called to remove them from our property. I would like to believe the good reviews and think the crew/individual that came to our house had a bad day (both times). If the owner/ leadership would like to discuss I would be happy to share our experience and try to help improve. read more

I couldn't be happier with Mattucci's service. I remodeled my kitchen and my drain pipe in the wall for the kitchen sink had to be repositioned 3.5" lower. I had scheduled an appointment over the weekend for a plumber to come out on Monday. When he showed up he told me the work that needed to be done, but I thought what he was asking for cost-wise was way too high so I reached out to Mattucci. Within ONE HOUR one of their technicians was at my house. He assessed the situation and also indicated the pipe had to be repositioned and had to crack open the exterior wall. However, his price was much more reasonable and within the scope of the project. Within a couple of hours he was done and everything was perfect. Cannot recommend this service more. Beware!!! Avoid this plumbing company unless you like miscommunications, unresponsiveness, super superior attitudes at the office level and sky high prices. On the positive side the reps who came to our house, Andres and Julian, were very nice. That's the extent of the "nice" in my experience with Mattucci. Andres surveyed our issue and we agreed on a solution and how to repair and reroute a pipe. I was told they would either call with an estimate that night or email it to me the next day. Long story short, I finally got the estimate one week later and only after several calls on my part and being berated for not paying an "open invoice" which by the way I had never received. They finally send the phantom invoice for $250 via email and I was told "...they expected payment by the end of the day" so I called, paid via credit card and waited for the estimate to be emailed. Still no estimate. The last call I made was from out of the country and luckily the operations manager answered the phone and he pulled up the estimate and emailed it right away. It had been sitting on their system and they obviously just wanted my $250 and were holding the estimate. Their estimate was over $4,500 higher than the other estimate I received. The plumber I chose has sterling referrals from people I trust. read more

Our second time using Mattucci plumbing (two different installations.) We requested Joseph again for the service call since he was so great the first visit. Just as the first time Joseph did the installation quickly and all while being very careful with everything he did. He always is very tidy and does his work with the least amount of interruption as possible. Also was very informative about the parts he was replacing and why we needed to replace rather just tightening some old parts. Also gave me some tips as to what to do when we do have water shut off and need to start the flow again. Will not hesitate to contact Joseph again if we need another service in the future. read more
