Most concerning, after they came for the consultation and took measurements, I emailed them links to the items I planned to purchase to ask if they were okay. They replied, "Everything looks good." so I purchased them. The bathtub did fit and was put in place, but the enclosure panels did not. They then asked for full payment with no intention of installing the enclosure panels, which is why we requested a reduction in price. 2) They left without telling us and left BOTH DOORS of my garage open. We found our cat wandering the streets, thankfully not lost or dead, and no one broke in before we discovered the open doors. I gave them that feedback, and their reply was, "We didn't know you had a cat." I can only conclude based on their response that if you do not have pets, they think it is okay to leave your home open to the public. You get what you pay for. If you're willing to compromise your safety for a job done by people who clearly have zero respect for you, your safety, and your home, these are your guys. read more

Long Beach Utilities emailed me this morning telling me I had a water leak. I had no idea where the leak was. After reviewing some Yelp plumbers I chose Tony's Plumbing. It was the best choice I ever made! Mark Torres, Field Supervisor, arrived as promised, and in the time interval promised. I could tell just by talking to him that he had a vast amount of experience. He was personable, genuine, and after a walk around inspection soon found the leak. It was under the house! I requested Tony's Plumbing to fix a water heater that the pilot light wouldn't stay lit. The technician advised that since the unit over 12 years old, parts are not available and the only option was to replace the entire unit for well more than $2k. After saying 'no thanks' they offered a $200 discount (it was still over 2 grand). Again no. I looked up the manufacturer and model and immediately found the solution: replacement of a $10 component (with a two hour replacement time) would remedy the problem. I'm very disappointed in this company and I would not recommend them. read more

I called Tony's Plumbing late on a Saturday night because I had a hot water leak that dripped onto my water heater, causing it to go out. Karen answered my call and guided me on how to shut off the hot water to prevent further damage. She then coordinated with Tony to send technicians to fix the leak. I also mentioned to Karen that I wanted to upgrade to a tankless water heater. She explained that their supply house was closed on Sundays, so it might not be possible to get the unit right away. However, about 10 minutes later, Tony called me personally to let me know he was able to arrange for their supplier to open on a Sunday to provide the tankless water heater. Their technicians, George and Oscar, were super polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. They had the leak fixed and our new tankless water heater installed in just a few hours. We've had this issue before and this isn't an easy system to unclog, but he didn't have a problem. So, believe it or not, we had a leak develop in the house we are renting. Our landlord suggested we reach out to Tony's Plumbing as they have used them in the past. So, I immediately got on the phone & contacted them on a Friday mid-morning. The soonest they could come out was Monday between 1200-1400. This second experience was just as amazing as the first. The best part for me was Jorge (aka George). He serviced us last time & came once again! The consummate professional, he ensured to wear booties in our house because he remembered from last time! He diagnosed our leak as a cartridge problem & promptly replaced it. We thought we had a second leak in a different bathroom, but after looking at it, he stated that he could replace the cartridge if we wanted to, but he said there is not a leak there. So, we decided not to replace. Considering Jorge could have "diagnosed" a second leak, he was completely honest with us, saving our landlord money. So, would I say Tony's Plumbing offers a great value? 100%! They provided us a great service, but were completely honest in doing so. Additionally, we had a familiar face! We had to correct a sewer lateral intrusion that was discovered by the city 4 years ago in 2021, but communicated to us in May 2025, that had to be corrected within a very short timeframe. The correction work had to be permitted, supervised and approved by a city inspector. I contacted several local plumbing companies to get quotes, and several were unable to perform the work (it had to be done through a manhole with some kind of robotic arm), while other companies quoted some ridiculously outrageous prices. All plumbing companies I reach out to were provided with CCTV footage of the correction that needed to get done, specific permitting instructions from the city and all information needed to ensure they were able to quote me on the same scope as everyone else. The staff at Tony's plumbing took the time to understand the issue, reach out to the city permitting office to get precise instructions, ensure they could do the work, and then quote me the most competitive price given the scope and timing of the work required. They worked with utmost professionalism, kept me informed of every step of the permitting process, scheduled and coordinated all the prep work and correction work with the city inspector, performed the work within a very tight timeframe under supervision by the city inspector, submitted all permit paperwork and CCTV footage required to the city to close out the permits and notice of violation - at the most reasonable price quoted! A month ago, there was a leak in the waterline behind the refrigerator. I was told that they simply needed to replace the coupling and they did so. This morning I had a refrigerator delivered and found that the waterline was still leaking and they could not install the new refrigerator until it got fixed.
