Thai fried rice with chicken
Mary M.

The food is delicious and the proportions are decent size. The waitress are attentive and very friendly. It's a nice place to eat and bring friends or clients to.

Decent value on tasty food. Small and intimate location in a strip center. Pleasant service. Lunch specials come with spring roll and either soup or salad.

Drunken Noodle with Chicken. Spice level 4

Our family loves this place the food is great, haven't had a bad dish yet. They let you choose your spice level and there are times a 4/5 kicks my butt and times I don't feel it. The drunken noodle is by far my favorite and my wife loves the pineapple fried rice. Even our daughter is a fan and their steamed rice noodles (side) and salted edamame. Portion size is good, it's never too busy either. The only thing I can even complain about is the smaller parking lot can make it tough at times but it's worth the hassle.

I wish I got our servers name but he was so kind and helpful! I have a gluten allergy and he took the time to talk with the chef and look over the menu and ingredients with me. Great service and great food. Will definitely go back!

Crab Fried Rice

Finally decided to come in for dinner with the family after passing by the place so many times everytime we go to Houston Outlets. Looks like a family owned restauraunt, the decor can use some new updates and changes. But what matters is the food, right? Wait time was a bit long for the food, not going to lie. Drunken noodle was really good, as expected. You really can't go wrong with getting drunken noodles at any Thai restaurants, at least in my opinion. But the one that really blew me away was the crab fried rice! I've had my first Thai crab fried rice back in Virginia and that was had a lasting impression on me but this one takes it up another notch. Crabmeat was plentiful, and the seasoning of everything together just made it taste so deliciously wonderful! The other main dish we ordered was the duck. Wouldn't recommend that one. It was the most expensive and yet had the smallest portion and didn't taste as well as we had hoped. Another disappointment were the drinks...I always am excited to get either the Thai Coffee or Tea whenever I go to Thai restaurants but they made the drink a little too watery and sweet. Dessert was good, I got the custard with coconut sticky rice. Texture was interesting and wasn't too sweet overall. Plus I've never had this before-- only in the og mango combo.

Crab Fried Rice

Delicious foods with big portion, omg, I can vote the Crab Fried Rice is the must have on your table. They served very quick, and gently, I like them. Ambiance is nice and cozy too.

Enjoyed this thai place in Cypress. The brussel sprouts were very tasty. The tom kha soup was decent. The pad thai was moist and yummy. Service was friendly and attentive. Restaurant was small and quaint. Parking was easy.

Amazing food! We got the calamari (10/10), gyoza (9/10), fried rice (9/10), teriyaki chicken (in pic-10/10), and chicken pad thai (in pic-10/10). All so amazing. Spice level 3- perfect!!! Great staff too. All kind and helpful.

The appetizer was overpriced given it's just another version of crab Rangoon. The beef pad Thai was okay, the pad Thai was good but I do NOT recommend getting steak here. I order a medium rare and got medium instead (gray band see picture). The steak was unevenly cooked and so dry. The clamp was another big led down, the soup was great but the muscles itself was dead before cooked (as shown many muscles was shut). Now the negative is out of the way... The lynchee drinks were so good and look great as well! I highly recommend. The mango sticky rice was great as well! Good texture on rice, nice coconut drizzle and mango was fresh (perfectly ripe). The service was good and attentive. Overall, I think it's a great place together and have a drink as they have many great drinks but for food... I will not recommend because it's quite overpriced and the quality and taste of the food doesn't justify the cost.

It was definitely on the upper end of my spice tolerance, and I love spicy food, but it was absolutely perfect. Hot enough to have a real kick without overpowering the flavor. The curry itself was rich, creamy, incredibly flavorful, and just delicious. The value here is also kind of unreal. This is very reasonably priced Thai food, but the quality is cream of the crop, tip of the top. I also ordered the fresh vegetable rolls with noodles, tofu, carrots, and lettuce with the peanut sauce, and they were perfect. Fresh, filling, and that peanut sauce was so good. The portions are generous for the price, everything was incredibly satisfying, and I was genuinely impressed by how much great food I got for what I paid. I will absolutely be ordering from Thai Curry Cypress again.

I got the pad thai and pad khee mao. The pad thai was flavorful and noodle texture was not too soggy or hard. I think there can be more flavoring as it is on the savory side. For the pad khee mao, the basil was definitely bringing out the flavor more but the meat can get a bit chewy at times. Other than that, they are solid choices if you want a quick lunch or dinner.

Also had Thai tea for the first time, has somewhat an earthy flavor definitely an acquired taste that I wouldn't mind trying again lol! The environment was welcoming, quiet but also great for family and friends! My only down side was: I wanted to order their Mango & Sticky rice as advertised, they told me they didn't have any. With the new name and menu, as other reviewers indicate, the menu is split into 4 regions with has between 3-11 entrees for each region. Entrees are $16-25, with the beef dishes being the pricier options. I thought it was strange they didn't have whole fish or ground beef for their larb salad, but I guess they can't have every possible Thai dish. The night I visited they had live entertainment, an asian singer, although her voice was pretty soft and you couldn't tell she was singing on many notes. Service was excellent, but the table selection we were given sucked as usual. It was right next to the front door of the restaurant. I tried a dish I don't normally order when I visit a thai restaurant, the sah nuer (beef tenderloin) since it had a nice presentationand it was a beef dish. Our table also added the pad woon sen (shrimp) and chicken wings. For a drink, I just had a pineapple juice. The juice was probably from a can, tasted like the Dole 46oz can I buy that's fresh pineapple juice, not from concentrate. The sah nuer was really simple yet delicious. It didn't look like a lot of food, in fact the pad woon sen looked like 5x as much food, but both ended up being so delicious. All plates were cleaned by the time we were ready to leave. I was surprised it was that good. They have only 3 spice levels, mild, medium and hot. The medium on the sah nuer was just perfect. It wasn't loaded with a ton of chili flakes, instead I feel they may have use powdered spice instead.

This place has quickly before one of our favorite nearby places. Especially when I'm crazing FLAVOR and SPICES. The other dishes were fine but nothing really stood out to me. Was a bit under the weather so Tom Kha soup was decent. Added tofu for a small upcharge. The soup had a milky taste but somehow lacked the oomph or maybe it just wasn't hot enough. A ton of tofu but it had a texture that tasted like a different sort of tofu?!? Salmon curry came recommended - it was decent. Requested no bamboo shoots and replace with mushrooms. Server was flexible with dish modifications - no upcharge. Glad they had Thai Fish Cakes - ok but a bit underwhelmed. Appetizers and desserts were so reasonably priced that it's easy to add on to entrees despite inflation. I'd repeat order shrimp pad thai - that was a winner and maybe salmon curry. Rice texture was more mushy than grainy. Service was good but didn't see the robot that was mentioned. Ambiance was casual and relaxing - let your hair down type of vibe.
