Jezebel's Boutique - Rings and earrings we bought today. Such a cool selection!

My husband picked up a couple pairs of earrings, and rings for our daughter and I. I love the selection because there are many unique and whimsical items, in a range of prices too! This shop is an example of why we love Carytown!

I went into Jezebel's with my friend and I found a purse for sale for $4. I thought "what a great…read moredeal!" and since it was marked in yellow, I figured it was a markdown. I went to the register with my purchase and the owner said that $4 was not the correct price. I told her that is what is marked and that she should sell it for the amount listed. She said it might have been the amount that she purchased it for, but that in no way was the correct price and she would sell it to me for $24. She basically just said I could buy it for a 600% markup! This says a lot about her markup on prices in the items in her store. I said it was unethical for her not to sell it to me for $4. She got mad, said I could buy it for $4 if I really wanted to rob her, and I said I would purchase it. She then said "NO! - I would rather throw it in the trash then sell it to you!". I started to walk out, told her I was going to go on Yelp and give my review of her "service", which is what I am doing. I have never given a review on anyone else before, but this woman was completely rude and should not be in business with a terrible and unprofessional attitude like hers. I also had two other friends across the street would might have been potential customers, but I stopped them from going into her store. My advice is to stay away from this store and shop elsewhere.

Don't waste your money. I've gotten better off the rack suits at Macy's than a Jos A Bank custom…read moresuit. I purchased a custom suit from this location about 3 months ago and wanted to wait until I wore it on numerous occasions. Custom tailored suits are supposed to look custom, but I can honestly say every time I put on my suit it looks like I'm swimming in it. When I got measured back in March, the salesman asked me what size pant I usually wear. I told him, and his response was, "well you must have put on some weight!" Not a good start and I had not. He didn't ask anything about what style I liked or anything. I have a narrow frame and many jackets look way too wide in the shoulders. While trying on the jackets to get a sense of what fits, I mentioned it to him and he said, "that's why you're getting custom. It will all look much better when it's tailored." Cool. Fast forward to the first fitting: the jacket was horribly wide and pants were WAY too baggy. I told him my concerns and he assured me (again) that these issues would be fixed with the final tailoring. Come my final fitting, things were looking better. HOWEVER the issues I mentioned in both of the previous fittings weren't properly taken care of. Shoulders way too wide. Pants way too baggy. Rise way too long. I mentioned it yet again and instead of trying to fix the issue, he brought over another sales associate to have him tell me that it looked "like it should." I don't care what either of their opinions were. I did not feel like it looked good and spent a decent amount of money on the suit. I had an event for which I purchased the suit the following weekend and it couldn't be tailored again in time. Also, they assured me that the issues I mentioned were not fixable, as the style of this suit wasn't a narrow shoulder and they didn't even carry shoulders as narrow as I wanted. Now, I need to wear a suit for work and every time I put on this suit I feel frustrated and end up opting for another in my closet I got off the rack at Dillards or Macy's.
