You can find a plethora of things here for both yourself and your loved ones. ***LOCATION*** Located near the parking lot part of Carytown. If it's not a weekend or dinnertime, it's easy to park out front. ***EXPERIENCE*** The times I've been here, I've shopped for gifts for friends. I've gotten a beautiful Mad Kitchen Co print for a friend's birthday. I've gotten bride themed accessories for a bachelorette party. I've also purchased cards here. This is one of those stores where you walk in needing one thing, but could easily walk out with a bunch of other little things you fell in love with. The people who work here are incredibly kind and attentive. I've called a few times to check if they have a specific item (like the Bride themed things) and they'll either tell me what they have or recommend another shop in Carytown. ***PRICE*** Things can be a bit on the pricey side here, but they are cute items and some of it makes sense for its quality. ***CONCLUSION*** If you're looking for a fun and feminine gift, this is a great place to buy that!

And perhaps even witnessing an adorable toddler* frolicking around the shop? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you need to check out Bliss. Started by two sisters, this adorable boutique boasts fashionable, casual apparel and the carefully selected inventory includes both of-the-moment styles and classic pieces. As Megan M mentioned, it's not a huge shop but new items arrive all the time so I love visiting on a regular basis to check out what's new. The clothing leans towards the more casual side, but I've snagged everything from a French Connection striped tee (perfect for lounging around the house) to a Cooper by Courtney strapless silk dress (cocktail attire when paired with heels and jewelry). One of my favorite aspects of the shop is the absence of purchase pressure. Both sisters are super friendly and always make me feel welcome from the moment I enter the store. I often find items to purchase (sad wallet, happy closet), but when I don't I never feel awkward leaving empty-handed. This - coupled with the fantastic frocks - has made me a loyal customer and fan. Whenever I feel the need to shop (which, let's be real, is probably way more often than I should) and actually have a little dough to spend, Bliss is always on my list of boutiques to visit. *One of the owners has the cutest daughter who sometimes pops into the shop with her mom. You will find lovely hostess gifts including kitchen dishes, dish and hand towels with cute prints, differently-branded candles with a wide variety of scents, and interesting spreads and sweets. There are also decorative items, greeting cards, clothing, accessories and jewelry, and personal care items like soaps and lotions. The prices are very reasonable given the local/small-batch artisan feel, and everyone can find something within their budget. The website does a great job of showing the kinds of products R2R offers, and you can order online. The staff here is super approachable and helpful. I already have so many ideas for future gifts to buy for my friends and family for any occasion. I was trying on a Taxco silver jewelry necklace/earring/bracelet set and couldn't decide if I wanted to purchase it. The kind/stylin' person at the counter offered for me to take a picture of the set, so that I could think about it and come back later, should I decide to purchase it. She then laid the set out on a display tray, so that I could capture the set's essence in an iPhone 6 pic. Unfortunately, my forgetfulness made an appearance alongside my indecision and caused me to accidentally leave my earrings, the ones I was wearing when I walked in, on the counter. Also unfortunately, I was on a bus back to D.C. when I noticed I was earringless. I called up Bygones immediately (TG 4 YELP -- THE INTERNET's YELLOWPAGES) and spoke with an employee who said she would mail the earrings back! She was so so nice about it and I am very heppy.
