A lot of the times, we came after hours due to scheduling conflicts in which they were able to accommodate and each visit never felt rushed and they really ensure that every measurement is correct. The suits itself looked amazing on our wedding day and David was able to recommend some really cool additions to the custom suit. A day before the wedding day, 707 was available for my husband to buy shoes from them (they also have a great shoe collection). Small batch denim which is made as well or better than any denim I've ever owned. If you're a "denim head" you'll appreciate the detail that goes into their products. From quality, Japanese denim, to lined back pockets, to leather pads in the rivets for ease of removing the rivets without damaging the denim if a repair is ever needed. BTW, FREE LIFETIME REPAIR on all their denim products! They'll gladly hem the jeans to change the inseam if you prefer something more custom for you. I drove over 90 minutes to visit the store and it was time well spent. (Glad my SO found the correct address and hours before I made the trip.) If you're into selvedge denim, I'd recommend giving Shockoe a try. With their repair policy, it just might be the last pair of jeans you purchase for many, many years--unless you're like me and can't resist buying "just one more pair."

Yeah that's right, expensive custom suits from China. We are still waiting to see if it will arrive in time for my wedding but it was like pulling teeth to get them to purchase a back up suit and tailor it just in case the Alton lane suit does not arrive in time. My other groomsman went to the Charlottesville location and they gave him a pick up date after they had to make last minute alterations and 11 days later they said it still wasn't ready. Not happy with the service and honestly I feel like their suit quality has gone down over the years. Update: the suit arrived in time but my groomsman was never able to try it on before my wedding and Alton lane never gave him the back up suit they said he could keep in case their's wasn't fitting correctly. It turns out it is a goth type establishment. I'm not very goth myself but most certainly appreciate colorful makeup, black clothing and jewelry and the like. I believe they very recently opened so there was a huge selection of clothing but they have room for more. Because of it's well lit set up and the tunes being heard from the store lured us in to see what's up. Upon walking in we were immediately greeted. And asked if help is needed to let them know. This store looks to be black owned, something I love !! So we browsed and saw some haute (hot) kicks (shoes). Sales were being offered too. Now I love a sale and from a boutique shop...that's rare. Babe found two pair of shoes and I did as well. Shoes sold here are usually not in your chain shoe stores: Athletes Foot, Foot Locker or even DTLR. Since moving to DC we still return to Richmond for suits. We tried custom tailored Italian suits in the DC area, but they did not measure up. Beecroft and Bull is a rare find.
