The crew at Unplugged Performance was extremely efficient in installing my new UP Dual Rate Linear Lowering Springs on my Model 3 SR+. At the time only the moderate drop was available but I am more than happy with where it is sitting now. I also had the Aero efficiency package installed and I noticed significant improvements in efficiency when driving highway speeds. read more

I ordered the 'Lux Coil-overs' and anti-sway bars for my new Tesla Model Y. The coil-overs set for performance driving work well. The anti-sway bars are really effective. My car hugs corners like a Grand Prix winner, so tight! Now for the best part of working with Unplugged Performance- Cavan Roe! Cavan has outstanding customer service skills. He helped in so many ways and each time he was responsive and professional. He is clearly a giant asset for Unplugged Performance. read more

They are the future of car tuners. I love their thoughts behind Teslas and their efforts in designing real aero parts with computerized simulation. Not to mention they have a great team supporting customers, Tristen always helps me out right away I call him. I am always surprised by how knowledgeable he is. I got an efficient aero package for my Model 3 LR from Unplugged Performance a couple of months ago. This is my daily driver and I'm seeing an actual difference in energy consumption - around 5% less - 240Wh/mi to around 225Wh/mi in the same route. Theoretically, my range has been increased from 310mi to 333mi! I'm currently building another Model 3 AWD for offroading and definitely will work with UP. Highly recommended if anyone is seeking "real" stuff for their Tesla. read more

Knowing unplugged performance from hearing about them from tesla Facebook pages and YouTube videos. I wanted to take my tesla model 3 to the next level of adjustable suspension arms, so I contacted them. Then made arrangements on picking up the parts locally. Blake and Moto were very informative about the FUCA (front upper control arms) I was picking up and also gave me recommendations on other UP parts that will help the characteristics of my model 3 long range for an better driving feel. We are loving our new UP Luxury Coilovers on our 2021 Model Y! The improvement is noticeable at level 8, the car handles bumps much more smoothly, and the handling seems to have improved as well. I worked primarily with Kirk and he was great. Very approachable and easy to talk to. He talked through our whole situation and offered suggestions for various settings based on our needs. We felt very well tended to and he was very reachable over the phone, text and email. The parts took some time to get to me given their overwhelming popularity, and I would recommend reaching out to an installer directly to see if they have the parts in stock rather than waiting in line to get them directly from Unplugged. In the Chicagoland area, we had our suspension installed by Race Consulting Agency (RCA) in Mundelein, IL. They were outstanding and they had parts in stock and they do many of these installs on a regular basis so I would recommend them as well if you are in the area. Thanks again so much Kirk and team - keep up the great work! read more

I spoke with James H, he was amazing! Incite was great and his knowledge of products and how they work together with Tesla was very informative. You know when you're waiting to get seated at a really popular restaurant and it just takes forever so you get all upset and impatient because you expected better service but then you finally get seated and the service is great and the food is bomb? Well that was practically my experience with UP. Every time I bring my car here, I get treated very well. This last time, I brought my car in for a new bumper and paint and it took longer than estimated, but Jeff, my sales rep brought the car to my house as soon as it was done and the car looked immaculate. Much better than I was expecting. Unplugged Performance is the go to for aftermarket Tesla parts. read more

Excellent service. I wanted to pick up some sway bars for my Tesla Model 3. Gave them a call in the morning to check if it was in stock. Drove down to their location in the early afternoon to go pick up my order. Some one helped me out as soon as I entered the door. I was offered to sit but I didn't want to sit, lounge around, or touch anything because of the whole COVID situation. Everyone one who walked past me asked me if I've been helped or needed help. Excellent product. Oh man where do I even start. Product was well packed, box was clean and rigid. Would have liked printed instructions but with this day and age it is just a waste of paper and totally understandable. I just scanned the QR code on the box with my Ipad and got the link to the installation instructions. I install all my own parts so I can really see and appreciate the quality and detail of the instructions. Wish I took pictures but the install process went so smoothly I just finished without thinking twice. Driving by the SpaceX booster and Hyperloop Pod Tube on the way there was pretty epic also. read more

This is 100% an unbiased review and is a reflection of my own personal experience with the guys at Unplugged Performance. I had an early appointment at 9am, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by Jeff, who right away, registered my car into their system to get work done on it. As he was doing that, another worker approached and asked if I'd like a bottle of water. The service I was getting done was an installation of their own Unplugged Performance lowering springs (which only took about an hour and a half to install) and rode beautifully after installation with no hiccups or issues as I drove 45minutes back home. Best custom and repair shop for Tesla owners. Best priced upgrades with quality guaranteed and warranty. Luke assisted me during this visit from phone chat to text to appointment to getting the job done swiftly overnight. I was there to readjust my bumper I had installed in 2020 and they reinstalled it perfectly after Tesla failed to do it properly and played the blame game instead of accepting their shortcomings and lack of thinking outside the box with logics. Great people and engineers. Thanks Luke. You're a gem in Unplugged my guy. SIMPLY BRILLIANT!!! SIMPLY THE BEST!!! It's such an honor and privilege to work with this global-renowned group of designers and technicians. The In-depth research that goes into every product that they develop is influenced by racing-pro legend, Randy Pobst, who advises the design team on fine tuning the development of their beautifully crafted enhancements and racing replacement parts. The organization was founded by Ben Schaffer, who is the founder and brainchild behind this amazing passion for the Tesla Vehicle. He leads a team who harmoniously strives for the maximum performance potential in all of their vehicle projects. While It's been an honor to work with Ben during my entire project, I have had the pleasure of mainly working with David Chi, one of their professional advisors who has guided me with his expert knowledge and true honesty when deciding on the Unplugged Performance modifications that I am so very proud to display on my Tesla Model 3 Custom Performance Project. David has been key in all of my project decisions and truly, his professional demeanor and confidence have made it an easy, enjoyable, and fun journey that I have never experienced before in my last 40 years of performance car tuning. I would highly recommend David Chi to anyone considering working with this world-renowned group of Tesla Performance Enthusiasts. - Dr Gregory Chew read more

I just had their Unplugged Performance soft ride luxury dual rate spring set installed and this is the way my dual motor model Y should come from the factory. Fell for their vaporware twice. In 2015, I placed an order for a set of 21" Model S wheels. At the time, they were doing business as "Bulletproof Automotive, LLC". The wheels were promised in about 2 weeks. After a month, I asked for an ETA, and received no reply. I placed a dispute with American Express. A few days later, they offered me a set off of their demo car so that I can cancel the dispute claim. I declined the used set of wheels. Then magically, the set I ordered arrived and is ready for pickup immediately after. Declined again, as I doubt the set they were offering was a new set. They asked me to cancel the AMEX chargeback so they can refund me directly instead. Which makes no sense- avoid this red flag if you are asked to do so. Fast forward 4 years, they are offering a spoiler for a Model X. Placed the order in January, with a March delivery date. "Unplugged was just getting off the ground, in the years since we have greatly improved our processes both internally and externally", I was assured. Checked for any potential delays at the end of February. Two weeks after, they claim the delay is only a few weeks. A week into April, I placed another AMEX dispute claim. Now the ETA is pushed back until June. Learn from my mistakes: 1) Ensure the product is in stock, ready for delivery. 2) Don't get enticed into placing a deposit or purchasing the item with their promised delivery times. They have great salespeople who can push this by claiming that there is a long wait/reservation list, and a deposit secures your place/order. 3) Pay with a reputable credit card. American Express if you have it. They will back you up if a refund is refused/delayed. 4) Document ALL of your communications, especially around delivery times, etc. This will help your credit card company lean towards your case in a dispute. read more

When I took delivery of my Model 3 Performance I knew the first place I had to go was Unplugged Performance. My wife wasn't happy with the ride of our 2020 Model Y Performance; so I started looking around for a solution and came across the Luxury Coilover Suspension kit from Unplugged Performance. I watched a couple of videos on YouTube and the guy was impressed with the ride after getting the UP coilovers installed. I had already been following UP for a while and knew that they made quality parts and were experts on modifying Teslas so I felt comfortable ordering from them. Getting the part in did take a while because of the global supply chain issues but my salesperson, Kirk, kept me informed and updated whenever I had a question and the parts finally came in. After ordering the Luxury Coilover kit Kirk recommended I also order the Billet Adjustable Rear Camber Arms so that a proper alignment could be done. So I ordered those also and they actually came in before the suspension kit. Once I had all the parts, Kirk suggested I contact a local company, DriverSource, in Houston, for a quote on getting all the parts installed. Steve, at DriverSource, responded immediately and got me a quote and then all I had to do was make an appointment to drop off the Model Y at their shop. Huge difference in the ride of our Model Y now!! We had the car lowered about 1/2" and the adjustable coilovers set at their softest setting and it is like a different vehicle! Much more comfortable for us and what we use the car for so we're extremely happy with the ride of the Luxury Coilover Suspension kit! Highly recommend Unplugged Performance for aftermarket parts for your Tesla and if you're in the Houston area we highly recommend DriverSource! read more

Truly outstanding customer service! I want to give special thanks to Kirk who handled my order. He called me a ahead of time to discuss all the details, answer questions and schedule the appointment. The day I dropped my car, UP were punctual with the appointment time and completed the car before the planned estimated time. All replaced stock parts were nicely packed in the boxes and organized in the car - a small detail, but it impressed me - attention to the visible detail tells me a lot about how they handle what's underneath the car. I am very happy with the products they installed and a few weeks later, have not had any issues. read more

Excellent customer service and products. Was looking to lower my M3 and get a better, more aggressive handle in the corners so went with the Dual Rate Moderate spring set. Living in Hawaii, getting everything here is expensive and yet the team was able to get me a reasonable shipping cost. Better than I could get through independent shipping companies for the islands. Once I got the springs in, the actual install wasn't that bad for my first time swapping just springs and not the entire shock assembly. After the install, the look was immediately noticeable and much much better than stock. The moderate springs close the wheel gap very nicely without giving it that slammed look. Much more sporty without going to far. Ride quality was also drastically softened. The roads here aren't the best and the springs definitely helped to diminish and soften the more mild bumps and reduce the harshness of the bigger bumps. However, out of all the benefits, the handling was the most noticeable. Wow! This car is completely different in the corners. It feels planted and you don't notice how heavy this car is when starting, going through and coming out of a corner. I really didn't expect this level of improvement in handling with just a stiffer second rate on the springs but it has the "riding on rails" feel without any other upgrades to sway bars, adding coilovers or tires. Highly recommend as a very affordable and easy upgrade to the car to improve the looks, ride comfort and dramatic handling improvement. read more

Like many of you, I purchased a Tesla for its performance, looks and safety. I decided quickly, however, that I wanted more of each of these attributes. Through my research, I knew that only Unplugged Performance's in-house design and manufacturing relationships could deliver the uncompromising parts and service that could transform my car into what I knew it could be - a daily-driver that looks amazing but could also handle any road or track driving situation. My experience with Unplugged has been exceptional, and I cannot recommend the company and Adam Mindham - my primary contact - highly enough. With a few ideas in mind, I reached out to Adam before taking delivery of my car. He helped me select products from Unplugged's portfolio and customization services from its affiliate, Bulletproof Automotive Spa, that fit best with what I was trying to accomplish. He walked me through options and pros and cons and tirelessly answered all the questions that I had. At each step of my car's transformation from a very generic Model Y to something that I am super-excited to drive every day, Adam acted more like my personal project manager than a salesperson. His recommendations were consistently excellent, reflecting the fact that he listened exceptionally well. Most importantly, I felt that he made my goals into his goals and was truly constantly thinking about new ideas and what would be best for me and my car. There are many companies that offer aftermarket parts for Teslas. However, Unplugged Performance is the only company that I felt would get everything right the first time and not waste my time and money. Because I drive my kids in the car, I did not want to sacrifice on safety and knew that Unplugged's history of delivering the highest-quality products for racing vehicles was the right answer for me. A huge thank you to Adam, Sean at Bulletproof Automotive and the rest of the Unplugged Performance team for all the work they have done and they have my strongest possible recommendation. read more
