I would recommend Unlock 24/7 to anyone. I got my key stuck in the ignition on my Acura MDX. Called many locksmiths and most would suggest me to take it to a mechanic. But most mechanic shops needed to completely replace the ignition cylinder, which is an extensive job. When I called Unlock 24/7, Steve answered and said he's done many of these. We chose them to fix my grandma lock situation after a different locksmith was there and took advantage of her age and lack of knowledge. She paid the first guy $350 for a lock that she couldn't even lock from being so hard to turn. We reached out to unlock 24/7 and they sent a nice guy name Simon that replaced the lock with 2 different variations and let my grandma to test them out to make sure she can easily lock and unlock it. This company deserves a 10 Star!! If I could rate them that high I would because they absolutely deserve it! Long story short...I am a nurse out here working in Cali in response to the pandemic crisis...I am out here working the frontlines giving covid vaccinations...I rented a car from Fox which was the worst decision I could've ever made...they had only given me ONE key fob to the push start vehicle and somehow I misplaced the key and was locked out of the car for 2 days..I searched EVERYWHERE and couldn't find it! I called Fox and explained to them what had happened and I was told that they didn't have a spare key to the car and that I would have to reach out to a locksmith to come and make another key!!!! I was very frustrated and upset that I had to replace it even though I didn't receive two keys.I had worked long hours so I was tired and exhausted but knew that I had to get this issue resolved! I didn't know where to start honestly so I just so happened to stumble across locksmiths on Yelp and I am sooo grateful to have found the best company in the area! I spoke to the owner Simon and explained my situation, he was extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, friendly, honest and affordable!! He told me that if I wanted to replace the key fob he would need to know before noon the following day and that way he could order and pick it up. I called and he didn't answer but then he chose to communicate via text because they were busy but he found time to respond to my questions and gave me updates throughout the day while I was at work! Because I missed his call he made an executive decision and purchased the actual Ford key fob because although it cost a little more he explained that if he had gotten the knock off brand the rental car company would've still went back to the dealer and had them make the key and charged me for it so he basically saved me hundreds of dollars!! Simon had a way of calming me and I was able to build a positive rapport and he gained my trust minutes into our first conversation! He gave me the best and worst case scenario prior to the technician arriving to my location! What touched my heart the most is that Simon called me an angel for working the frontlines during this covid pandemic and thanked me for my arrive! As a token of his appreciation, he gave me a HUGE discount and also offered to waive the fee usually charged to clear the computer memory so that if the key was ever found no one could come back and use it! It was so sweet it brought tears to my eyes! just to know how much we are appreciated makes all of this that much more worthwhile!! His technician Yohan was very punctual arriving to the location on time and he was done before I could blink my eyes! Lol which was nice because I just worked a long day! Yohan was so fast and efficient I was truly amazed and I couldn't thank him and Simon enough for truly brightening up my day because I FINALLY was able drive again! the stress and the feelings of hopelessness/helplessness that consumed me for the 2 days finally was lifted off of my shoulders and I felt instant gratification and relief! I just want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for going above and beyond my expectations and I would HIGHLY recommend them! He was not eager to replace and sell me a new lock but rather wanted to be sure he did all he could to repair my current lock, which he did and this saved me a significant amount of money. Long story short, I called every 24/7 locksmith possible and realized how 24/7 is a title for every business in that industry and not necessarily the way of how the business is really available. Located in Anaheim I started calling locksmiths in the Torrance area until I found this guy's. While most of the places didn't even picked up the phone, unlock 24/7 answered right away. The guy was really honest and said Anaheim is outside their service area but if I'm willing to wait they will send a technician out. Didn't really had any choice but also, to my surprise, they came in 35 minutes, on a Sunday morning from Torrance so that was a good start. Simon was efficient and quick to open my office door and made me an additional key so I can lock behind me when I'm done. I expected the bill to be on the bigger side due to the emergency call on a Sunday but to my surprise Simon explained when he hand me the invoice that they have set prices doesn't matter the day of the week or the time of the day!
