I called California keys to help me program an ignition key for my 2007 Mustang. They were able to come out same day, did not charge me an emergency fee, and programmed the key for me... Unfortunately, for me, the car still did not start. When I called to speak to the office about it, the lady that worked there was extremely accommodating. The gentleman that had come out, no longer worked for the company. I thought I was SOL. I was so pleasantly surprised, they gave me a complete refund. And I'm extremely grateful for that. I got robbed and along with that was my only car key. Welp now it's locked and stuck. I called a few places but none did the VW key since it needs a programmer. Makes sense. I called the dealer. They gotta order it, they will call you in a few days, then I would have to have it towed and unlocked. Again, it's locked with anti theft and not sure if the alarm would work. I found California keys and they picked up, asked the real questions and gave me a price. Dealer was almost 400$ plus a tow ride and whenever they got the key in. Called them at 930, and Eric from California Keys came came by 1130, when he told me 11-12. He got right to work, opened the door and did his magic. We called countless locksmiths with very little luck - most couldn't help us and many didn't call back or said a technician would get back to us, and that never happened.
