Since getting my puppy almost 6 months ago, Unleashed has become a weekly or bi-weekly stop for all of my dog needs! Korra loves coming here and sniffing around (and trying to get into all the dried treats). She loves all of the people too and the complimentary treats they have at the check-out counter! The staff is always super helpful and friendly. They've helped me pick out treats, harnesses, and more. We have Korra's Instincts brand puppy kibble with dried raw pieces auto shipped to our house from an online store, but we come here for pretty much everything else. Harnesses, leashes, toys, high quality treats and chews (she looooves a chicken foot), and Answers brand raw food and goats milk. They have a great selection of products. The last couple of times, they didn't have it out, but they also usually have a scale near the entrance for you to weigh your pup. I love that since she's growing so fast and seeing the weekly progression in between vet visits is fun.

Brie was such a delight to work with! She helped us fit Antonio for a leash and also talked to us about a raw food diet and higher quality cat food. She was by herself and swamped, but handled all customers with grace. We didn't feel rushed and she provided great customer service. They were also outstanding when I had to return something. Our cat would not take the product and they were excellent. I try to avoid returning stuff, but this just didn't work. The store is cute and has lots of wonderful items and I will be back for Christmas! I know they have also supported the Wake Co. Animal Shelter with donations and want to include that as I like to shop at small businesses that also give back.

Such a great shop. They had all kinds of stuff for my boy Charlie that I couldn't find anywhere else! The leash selection was incredible.

Erin and Cooper are incredibly patient and skillful. Erin managed my VERY difficult doodle after many other groomers told me they wouldn't be able to handle him. She not only completed the groom with such skill but she was patient with me and listened to my concerns/questions in advance so that we could both feel comfortable. They kept me updated and the pricing is very fair -- great value for service! I can't recommend this place enough--Erin has a special touch that you won't find with your average groomers! My dog was very comfortable with Erin and Cooper plus their treats are now my pup's new favorite. (Obi says thanks for the Dino too!!)

It was on the Neighborhood Pet Bingo card so I stopped in to get a stamp. While there I browsed the selection and picked out some toys and treats. They were good quality and pricy, but comparable in price to other local pet stores. This shop is unique in that they offer their fresh dry pet food as a self fill station where you pay by weight. Pet Wants offers pick-up and delivery as well. The employee working the counter was welcoming and helpful. Overall, we had a positive experience here and recommend this shop to others!

Reading is fundamental lol) Gave them a call today just to make sure my order went through since I opted for delivery, and the employee confirmed they did have my order and apologized for not being open lol totally not their fault. She was sincere and assured me I'd have my items soon. To my pleasant surprise not only did I get a hand written note apologizing for the delay, but they threw in a few treats for my dog as well. They didn't have to do any of that but still chose to be kind and apologetic. People are not the greatest these days. So this was really nice to see. Ten out of ten stars.

On Saturday we took my nephew to pick out his bunny, it was insinuated that we could not afford the rabbit, we were told that everything would be about $400 without asking which was incredibly inappropriate and embarrassing. Today, Monday we went back to purchase the bunny. We had already purchased everything needed to properly care for the rabbit and showed that we had purchased the required supplies, when INTERROGATED by the store employee who had called the manger. We asked to speak to the manager who wasn't in the store but came in rudely! we were still not allowed to purchase the rabbit. This was supposed to be a special experience for a 3-year-old who was so excited to have his first pet, and instead he was left confused and heartbroken and discriminated against. I understand that stores have policies regarding live animals, but making assumptions about our ability to afford the rabbit and then refusing the sale after we demonstrated that we were prepared was extremely upsetting and disappointing. We were dressed appropriately, clean, POLITE and drove in a 2025 Mercedes benz. I hate to say we were racially profiled, but the only difference between us and them were our skin complexions. This left a 3 year old boy in tears! How do we explain this to him?!

The front desk pulls up our info then asks how old she is. Which is confusing if you already have her information in your system. Regardless, I say 14. I was told they cannot service her because of her age. That it might cause too much stress and anxiety. I'm thinking to myself, she's getting her nails clipped not going skydiving. So, they lost a long time customer over a policy, which I never heard of, didn't see posted, never heard of any other company following the same practice. So, I drive a quarter mile to Dirty Dogs next to Subway off Creedmore Road. No questions asked, they serviced Lilo and was done in 10 minutes.

Soon after checking in, an employee came out to grind Pluto's nails. She was quick and efficient. His nails looked great! Since they were crowded in the back, we stayed in the retail area. This is ideal for nervous dogs who want to stay with their owners. This was fine, but next time I'll bring a mask since I don't like getting the nail "dust" up my nose. I'm not sure if it seemed long because everything else was so quick or if it was actually long, but check out seemed to take forever. Not just for us but for others who checked out before us. Not sure why and could have been a fluke due to slow internet or something. Overall, we had a pawsitive experience here and recommend this dog spa to others!

Well we were very impressed with the store. The women who were working that day were all very helpful, and enjoyed playing with our puppy while showing my wife different harnesses and leashes. They did not get upset when she had happy squirts on the floor and were there with paper towels and disinfectant to clean it up. One of the areas I liked is the wall of treats for lack of a better term. They have a large selection of treats, some of them grain free in bins and you can mix and match them and try a wide variety of treats for your dog. You do not have to buy a pound bag and get home and find out that your puppy does not like them and you are stuck with them or end up trashing them. Also they were helpful giving us samples of some new foods to try, because as I said she can be finicky and again you are not buying an 8 pound bag of food to just let it go to waste. I truly recommend this store to all that live in North Raleigh and have pets, give them a look and I am fairly sure you will be satisfied.
