Their downtown accessibility is a cornerstone for pedestrians in a car-dependent city, allowing consumers to avoid buying from big corporations simply based on accessibility, all while contributing to the local economy. Huge plus in my book! I could rant and rave about their staff until we're both sick of me talking. Not only are they knowledgeable - but they are so kind hearted! The friendly atmosphere and unique inventory sometimes inspires me to go in for goodies even when my cat is well stocked. Thank you for improving my cat's quality of life and mine. ‍Reactive dog owner here!…read more I'd like to start off by saying I have never had a bad experience at any of the Unleashed locations! The staff at each store are absolutely phenomenal. I frequent this store for their dog bathing station. General Unleashed info: I always call ahead to reserve a spot for a bath- you must do this to ensure they have time for you. Baths are reserved for an hour. They usually fill up quickly for a weekend spot but I've never had any issues with same day reservations so long as you are flexible. I also really appreciate that the staff has always been super considerate and understanding when I specify that my dog is reactive to both other dogs and some people. I usually let them know while he looks super approachable because he's so fluffy and cute () he's kind of a butthead with strangers (). They always respond with kindness and politely give him plenty of space when we come in- and also let us know if there are other dogs in the store when we come in! I cannot tell you how much reassurance this gives us as owners to a reactive dog- we appreciate this courtesy so much! Protip: buy the frequent bather card! $60 for 4 baths and your 5th is free! They link this to your phone number so you don't have to worry about losing the card and it is good for use at any of their locations! Cary specific: The bathing area is in the back of the store where they stock bigger items. There is a baby gate and curtain you can use for some privacy but as my dog is reactive and as the location of the bath is open to the public I do wish there was a door just for peace of mind. We have had instances where other curious customers try to peek in the bathing area which has caused my pup to freak out a bit. The room is a little tight but you can make do with two adults plus your pup. I would say the bathing station is a good size for dogs up to the 60-ish lb range. 70 and up might be a tight squeeze. The always are stocked with plenty of soap/conditioner/ear cleaning/grooming tools! TL;DR $15 self bathing station, well worth the price for not having to clean up/well stocked bathing area and very accommodating staff.

I can't say enough about the level of service and care that Pure Love provided for my pets. They took time to explain their service during the first visit and ensured that my pets would be a good fit. While away, they followed all instructions precisely and went above and beyond by cleaning water bowls and bringing in trash despite not being asked. Another great touch was the numerous photos they sent with the visit report card which helped reassure me that my pets were having a great time during each visit and enjoying the less stressful experience of being home versus at a traditional boarding stay. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Pure Love Pet sitting for your needs, you will never go back to traditional boarding!

The staff were great with my dog - and though the service is significantly overpriced, I feel they did a really good job. I did feel slightly concerned for the staff because they don't verify that dogs are vaxxed and they didn't cut her nails on a grooming table (which serves to protect the pet and staff). Knowing my dog is vaxxed and since there were no incidents with my pet (nor harm to staff), it left me feeling fairly ok and hopeful that any future visits would go ok too.

Erin and Cooper are incredibly patient and skillful. Erin managed my VERY difficult doodle after many other groomers told me they wouldn't be able to handle him. She not only completed the groom with such skill but she was patient with me and listened to my concerns/questions in advance so that we could both feel comfortable. They kept me updated and the pricing is very fair -- great value for service! I can't recommend this place enough--Erin has a special touch that you won't find with your average groomers! They have been so professional, fit us in when we needed dog care, made sure our puppy was up to date on all shots and have been very thorough. We really liked that dogs over a year old need to be altered, our dog has had issues with some aggressive dogs bullying him and he's too sweet to defend himself. Hopefully, the altered pups might lessen that. We also really liked that they match temperaments and make sure personalities fit in each dog run. Did I mention that I received a text during the day on how my dog was doing? How great is that?! And, this evening, I received an email containing my pupper's report card! Paws at Play let me know how his temperament was today, what he did, who he played with, and the name of the employee who watched over him. Plus, I received about 10 photos of him - showing how much fun he had! Experience was so positive we've already booked another day!
