I purchase running shoes there every 4-5 months and, until now, have never once returned a pair of shoes or complained. My most recent purchase was $180 pair of Saucony running shoes. After only about three weeks of use, the sides of the shoes began to wear down significantly. Given my long history with the store, I brought them back expecting at least a conversation about the issue and perhaps some assistance. Instead, the experience was extremely disappointing. The staff seemed disinterested and abrupt, and the interaction made me feel as though I was trying to pull a fast one being dishonest about the issue. After more than a decade of loyal business that was incredibly insulting. Rather than taking the time to understand the problem they insisted it was my issue and possibly the use of gym equipment! The solution they offered was simply another pair of shoes priced lower than the ones I had purchased, and the overall tone felt like they just wanted to move me out the door as quickly as possible. It's unfortunate, because Fleet Feet has always been a store I trusted and recommended. I hope management takes customer loyalty more seriously in the future.

I rarely get this level of service in stores these days. The service was appreciated. Alanna was nice and assisted me with correcting the phone number on my rewards account. If you are a runner they have a huge running shoe section in the back of the store and had quite a few good deals on clearance shoes. The gold area where you could test out clubs was built in entertainment for my toddler. It was neat watching people hit balls and figure out the right club to purchase. I was also impressed by the women's clothing selection. They had quite the selection the price point varied and for most pieces I'd probably hold off for a sale. Parking is super easy and on a Saturday the store wasn't that busy.

The store has tons of great outdoor gear, Patagonia items, Arcade belts, rugged wear and a great shoe wall in the back. We loved the stickers - some very unique designs! Next time, when we have more time, we'll definitely purchase some items. Great local place right on Hargett, terrific location. We paid to park nearby, $1.25 for an hour. We'll definitely return to shop here!
