The gold area where you could test out clubs was built in entertainment for my toddler. It was neat watching people hit balls and figure out the right club to purchase. I was also impressed by the women's clothing selection. They had quite the selection the price point varied and for most pieces I'd probably hold off for a sale. I have been to Lush, Lego, Yankee Candle, and Bath and Body Works here. Every shop we've been in had great employees and the stores were always clean. The mall in general is clean and bright and there's a ton of stores to shop around in. Minerology used to have two other locations but they closed down and stayed with one main location at Crabtree, so I'll make the long drive for my favorite place. The staff there are super knowledgeable about the fossils and minerals. They are very friendly and kind people and will help you find something special to bring home. They also do live sales occasionally on their Instagram. Many of the rocks in my collection came from here. Though Crabtree is far and I'm not a fan of their parking, I will always come back as long as my favorite stores remains!

As the name implies, they have clothing and gear for those who like outdoor adventures like camping, hiking and kayaking. The store was nicely organized and stocked and the creakiness of the hardwood floors was quite charming. Great Outdoor Provision Co. is local to Virginia and North Carolina and reminds me of REI, Duluth Trading and Mast General Store. Neither of us had ever shopped at Great Outdoor Provision Co. so we roamed much of the store. In the end we both left with lots of socks. They carry Smartwool, Darn Tough, Farm to Feet and probably some other brands. While I'm a fairly recent convert from Smartwool to Darn Tough I must say that I'm loving the Farm to Feet athletic socks! And for what it's worth, we both bough Farm to Feet socks after one of the employees volunteered some product information about the brand. And we've both ordered more since our inaugural trip to the store last weekend.
