So far, I cannot complain much. But…read more.. It's got a wide array of suits, shirts and so on, but there are definite imperfections. For instance, I needed a formal black tie suit and a casual jacket outfit for a gala in July. The employee Javi was personable and knowledgeable, helping me put together colors, textures, et. al. And yet, a place of this obvious capability did not have a black shirt in my size. I only wear 17.5 by 34. A black shirt. This was a shirt I promptly and effortlessly purchased at Brooks Brothers later on. But Jos couldn't handle it? A simple black shirt? And then, they had to order a white shirt for me because they didn't have one of those either. A simple white shirt? Seriously? That's embarrassing. I am presently waiting a couple weeks for all alterations (some of which they were late with) and that one shirt to come in. Overall, it was a fine experience, leaving me with a great ensemble, but when they show their shortcomings, those shortcomings do shine. A.

I stood waiting for assistance and was completely overlooked while employees talked among themselves. For a store that's supposed to specialize in professional clothing, the service was anything but professional. Definitely disappointing and not worth returning. The African American gentleman working there is a dick who just openly ignores you and pawns his work off onto other employees. Won't be returning

The main stores are Macys and Belk and there were plenty of smaller stores that would be familiar to you like Bath and Body Works, American Eagle, Banana Republic, Gap to name a few. The food court had plenty of options to choose from too. I would say since I was not familiar with this mall it was frustrating to not be able to find the maps at enough locations. So, I definitely would recommend checking this mall out You can't find to many indoor clean malls these days.

Crabtree is probably the best mall we have in the triangle, though, parking can be a nightmare…read more I mainly go to Crabtree for Minerology, my all time favorite shop in NC. I have been to Lush, Lego, Yankee Candle, and Bath and Body Works here. Every shop we've been in had great employees and the stores were always clean. The mall in general is clean and bright and there's a ton of stores to shop around in. Minerology used to have two other locations but they closed down and stayed with one main location at Crabtree, so I'll make the long drive for my favorite place. The staff there are super knowledgeable about the fossils and minerals. They are very friendly and kind people and will help you find something special to bring home. They also do live sales occasionally on their Instagram. Many of the rocks in my collection came from here. Though Crabtree is far and I'm not a fan of their parking, I will always come back as long as my favorite stores remains!

I just received my three piece seersucker suit for my daughter's wedding…read more The suit fit perfectly upon pickup, and needed no additional altering. This proved the expertise and experience of the gentleman who took my measurements. Despite current supply issues, they were able to deliver the suit exactly on time for the important occasion. Communication was outstanding throughout. I'm already planning my next suit from Bunbury. Thanks for a great experience!

Long story below, but TL;DR: these guys are great!…read more It's a rough market out there for off-the-rack women's formalwear, unless you really like sweating it out in polyester. I have wanted a suit for a really long time, but... well. I have DDDs, am generally midsize everywhere else (12-14 size waist) and I'm 5'1" on a good day. Even women's blazers don't fit me. Slacks? Forget about it. I knew that getting custom suit locally was the only way to go--I couldn't find any reviews or pictures of Bunbury's work with women's suiting, but I figured it couldn't hurt to make an appointment. I had never owned or worn a suit before, so I had very little knowledge about what would work for me. Fortunately, at the first fitting, Rohit spent a full two hours patiently explaining different suit cuts, making recommendations on style and fit, and answering my many, many questions. Both the suit coat and waistcoat were absolutely PERFECT at the first fitting, which felt truly insane to me given my lifelong struggles with blazers. We ended up going through a few rounds of alterations on the shirt and pants, in no small part because of my own inexperience--I was discovering my own preferences for suiting as we worked through different options, and a lot of what I want out of a suit was a lot more in line with the conventions of men's formal suiting than women's--but Ro & co. had an insane level of patience and kept reworking everything until it was perfect. And as a total outsider to men's fashion, I never felt anything but safe, welcomed and respected in the Bunbury offices. Oh yeah, and the finished suit is amazing. Comfortable in all kinds of weather, a million hidden pockets, excellent range of motion... I've played a round of capoeira in the full getup without straining a single seam. By all accounts Bunbury is extremely on point with deadlines and alterations tend to be reliably completed within a week. In my case, the owners were hit with a truly Shakespearean tidal wave of once-in-a-lifetime delays beyond their control, and I was happy to slow down our alterations schedule in favor of their wedding clients because I didn't have any pressing deadlines to meet. As a thank-you, Bunbury ended up providing several tailored shirts for free, to the point where I'm honestly a little concerned that I'm tanking their bottom line. I have absolutely made out like a bandit from this experience. And even though I don't really attend formal events often enough to warrant it, I'm making room in my budget for their three for two suit deal in the future.

TLDR: Kannon's has an amazing selection of clothing from a number of different lines and Francesca…read moreis the best! She was honest about what looked good and what I should pass on - and even though she had never met me, was great about finding dresses that would work well with my body type. I am 50s+ female from CA and was traveling through the Carolinas. I was prepared for the heat, but not the humidity. I needed a new wardrobe stat! I researched online and discovered a number of boutique shops in Raleigh. Apparently, I started at the wrong end of the village, as I spent 1+ hours searching through racks at other boutiques before finally making my way to Kannon's. Note: some of the other boutiques had good selections, but all seemed to be geared toward a much younger crowd. I was lucky to be approached by Francesca (might also go by Francine as I think that's what her card said). She asked what type of occasions I would need outfits for and immediately came up with selections that fit my body type and my sense of style. There were a few that made it to the reject pile - either because they didn't fit exactly right or were unflattering. In either case, it was Francesca who gave them the thumbs down, which I definitely appreciate. I have never found a boutique with so many different styles and with such a helpful staff. I am tempted to fly back solely for the purpose of being able to shop with Francesca!

I came to Raleigh from Oklahoma for a conference and inadvertently left my dress shoes at home,…read moremaking boots my only option to wear with a suit. "Rough-looking" is a massive understatement for the condition of my boots, so I went to Ealdwine for some shoe polish, and saw that the product had changed quite a bit over the past few years. I had a few questions about leather conditioner, how much polish to use, etc. (stuff like that), and Mr. Gray took the time to show me everything, on my boots at that. The difference is tremendous, and I'm not JUST talking about how my boots look now. For a business owner to take time out of his day, literally get his hands dirty, and go to such lengths for a customer who might come to Raleigh every five years or so... It speaks volumes about Mr. Gray as a person and business owner. I'm now more informed, equipped with some really good polish, and won't feel so embarrassed about wearing beat-up boots with a suit. Another cool thing, assuming most will be looking/shopping for more than shoe polish, the store's beautifully designed, and chockablock with some of the finest in men's clothing and beautiful footwear. Mr. Gray personally helped with the design in many of the latter (Alden's handmade in Massachusetts), so I definitely feel like I was in good hands, and had definitely come to the right place. Great owner. Top notch products. Perfect service. Great experience.
