On my last two visits here I have experienced improvements. First, I was acknowledged when my feet crossed the threshold of the store. There were other customers in the store as well. Today was my 2nd visit here at Poyner Village. This is my favorite shopping center. The customer service at this location is impeccable time and time again. I visited to pick up a Online shipment for intimates. This is my first online order. I purchased during the semi annual sale. Upon arrival Kymberly greeted me warmly and informed me of the 50% off offer when placing an online In Store pick order. 50% on top of already discounted items was a score. I had no idea Lane carried a size 12 and had the size in abundance. This was new news to me. Lane Bryant has stepped out of the shadows of the homely, frumpy 90's style for Plus Sized Women. Prior to visiting, I would not consider myself Plus Sized, but curvy and voluptuous. Lane has arrived. The new styles provide clothing that is functional, comfortable and trendy without sacrificing your self esteem. Their denim collection is high quality featuring fabric that provides stretch and functionality. I saw quite a few pieces I'll have to return to purchase. I purchased a pair of skinny jeans and a cute mock neck knit top with ruching. I saved over $30 this trip. Took my 84 year old mom here the other day she hadn't been out in over a year. Thank you so much to Alisha the sales girl she was absolutely amazing with my mom had patience and took her time. 5 stars and more for her . The manager was always personable and helpful . I absolutely love Lane Bryant, but this Lane Bryant location's customer service is trash. I arrived yesterday at 6:40 PM. Upon entering, there was one sales associate at the front organizing bras. I began to shop on the racks that she was currently organizing. I was there at the rack shopping for about 15 minutes, she NEVER opened her mouth not once to me. I then continued on to the different walls with the bras on it, as well as the panties. About 20 minutes into my visit I see TWO sale associates come from the backroom, where I was standing, talking amongst themselves. The lack of customer service continued, neither one of them spoke to me or asked if I needed any help either. I remained in that store for 45 minutes before anyone spoke to me, and the only reason why someone spoke at that time was because I was at the register to make my purchase. I hadn't seen that particular sales associate so I'm assuming she was in the back when I first came in; but the other THREE had absolutely no customer service at all. When the sales associate at the register spoke to me, I replied "I've been in the store for 45 minutes and you're the first person to open your mouth to me since I've been in here." At that time of course she apologized. I explained to her that it wasn't towards her at all because that was the first time that I saw her. I needed to go back and swap out a bra size, so I went back to the rack where the lady was organizing the bras, and then after 45 minutes she wants to ask me if I needed help, which I angrily declined. It's absolutely unacceptable to have a customer shop in your store for 45 minutes and come in that close contact to employees and not speak or ask if they can assist you in anyway. Quite honestly each and every time I go to this Lane Bryant the customer service is the same, horrible. Unfortunately my favorite Lane Bryant located in the Brier Creek closed. The only other Lane Bryant is located at Streets of South Point and I live in Wake Forest so I don't want to drive that far. It really burns me up to know that I'm spending my money in any establishment and I can't get a simple Hello. The staff is definitely in need of some up-to-date customer service training because they are seriously lacking in that area. read more

My whole life i've been struggling with my self confidence, always worrying about what others thought of me, how i looked all because of how big i am. And with that, it's been a struggle to find clothes that fit me in your regular clothing stores. So when my mom told me about Lane Bryant, i almost immediately asked to come and I was greeted by this amazing worker, Katie. She pulled me aside in the dressing room and told me that i was beautiful and that i deserve to be happy with my body and myself. I will never forget her and if anyone could help me find her, i would absolutely love that so much :) But i 100% recommend coming to Lane Bryant, it is such a safe space to go to if you're needing a confidence booster. read more

I was one of two customers in the store. Was asked at the beginning if I needed help and I said just browsing at the moment. When I finally got to the section of the store for what I came in for (a bra) I asked for some assistance finding a strapless bra. The attendant just pointed and said "over there". I feel as if I was bothersome to the staff that was there. At check out the lady didn't seem so friendly and said "you finally ready?" I was a little turned off by that. Because I was only in the store maybe 20 minutes. I have to say the size selection was awesome for bras which my size is hard to find (38DDD) in strapless. But the service was less than exciting to report about. read more

This store has recently undergone a slight renovation. Not that it was necessarily needed but the upgrades make the shopping experience feel more glam. The dressing room is a lot brighter with fresh new paint, pretty wallpaper in each room and they added a pop of color with hot pink benches. I was confused about how the new panty drawers (no pun intended) were set up. I have been to other stores where the have similar storage drawers but it was much less confusing organization. At this store each section is a different style panty and then each drawer is a different size going from largest to smallest. I have to admit not making the bigger booty girls bend over to get their panties is probably a wise and kind idea. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The store is always organized and easy to navigate. In fact I like the new rearranged setup a lot better. read more

I went into the store this evening and I have shopped here many times but I am moved to say something this time. Whenever I go in this particular store, they alway greet me and are very friendly. Tonight the store was busy when I was in but they still greeted me and were helpful. I wasn't looking for anything specific, just shopping around, but they asked me multiple times how they could help me, made sure I knew about the sale, put me in a fitting room and made suggestions of other things I could add to my purchase like jewelry or a cami to layer under the sweater I was trying. It was a great experience. I will definitely return. An extra perk was that even though the store was busy, it was clean and shoppable. The ladies that were working were constantly walking around fixing things out of place. read more
