Legitimately my favorite store in Raleigh (and Wilmington - there's one there too) I can't speak…read more highly enough of it. I love the vibes. The employees are always super chill and helpful. The product curation is superb, and there's something for every price point. This store has everything I want and more. I recently went in to buy a couple birthday gifts for a friend and let me tell you, it was hard not to spend more and treat myself too lol. I've found a little bit of everything here. Some of my favorite clothing items are from Edge of Urge. I also almost always get gifts for friends here. It's just a great little store. Check it out if you haven't!

Where can you go to shop and support a local business, local artists and pet a cute puppy? The…read moreanswer is Munjo Munjo! Conveniently located in the heart of Downtown Raleigh (next to The Raleigh Times) this corner, spot that has turned over quite often over the years, seems to finally have a shop that is sticking. The owners are locals and always have Munjo, their Pomeranian [**I think**] dog in the shop. He's a scavenger for food! But if he doesn't catch your interest, I know some of the diverse local art will! From jewelry, stickers, pins, clothing [t-shirts/sweatshirts], mugs...the list goes on. I've purchased items for myself and others at Munjo Munjo over the years. A great option for gifts or a little local Raleigh!

The store is…read morecompletely color coded and sectioned off by blouses, dresses, jumpsuits, pants, accessories, etc. It's a great layout that makes shopping experience aesthetically pleasing and sophisticated. I've had luck with finding some staple items here for fair prices. $30-50 for a nice blouse or casual dress. The reason the rating is so low is because of the manager who oversees the store. She isn't there every time I have gone in, and the experience is better without her. She seemed very standoffish and was short with me at checkout. Very unapproachable. HELLO, this is retail. On another note, the lighting in the fitting rooms is excruciatingly bad. I feel like I have gained 10 lbs every time I look in the mirror. It is very unflattering and often causes me to put the items I tried on back.

The other day, I decided to venture off to Cameron Village. While some areas of Cameron Village pretend like covid-19 is not a thing, Madison did a great job making me feel safe. You can try on clothes, and I am pretttyyyy sure they sanitize the clothes after you try em on. I put back a shirt I didn't want, and I noticed they went back and grabbed it off the rack and took it to the back, presumably to sanitize. I love that. I will 500% be back (esp when there are sales!)

Seeing as I'm not made of money and expecting a baby, I diligently checked my bank account first and sure enough there it was, a debit for $33. The woman still wouldn't let me have my seat, even after showing her the charge on my bank account, and insisted I come back the next day so the manager could deal with it. She told me this happens a lot so I don't trust going back and using my card again, and I work a full day the next day and don't have more time to waste on this. Not only are your targeted clientele shopping at your store for a bargain because we're trying to save money, but we also don't appreciate being asked to charge our card twice when the money is already gone. my husband even tried calling and speaking to the owner only to be told the same thing. So I left without my seat and without my $33. I don't have infinite time to go back and forth to their hard-to-get-into location right off busy Main st, so it's unfortunate we couldn't come to a solution over the phone with the owner. Consider it a donation I guess, but I will never be back. Ridiculous!!
