I took my dog here for almost a year with no issues. They used to have a great Stylist who was wonderful with dogs. Unfortunately, that Stylist either left or we did not get in with her the last couple of times. My dogs were very reactive and on edge with the Stylists that took them this last time. Instead of working toward resolution with me as the customer, they were incredibly rude and said that they could not take my dogs again because they are crazy. While it is unfortunate they have really terrible people working in the back who are not gentle enough with dogs, there was no need to call my dogs crazy or be so incredibly rude. They also gaslit us that my dogs have always been a problem - also not true. I have documentation to show the many times we went without issue. Terrible customer service and zero accountability. We took our dogs to wolf gang the NEXT DAY with ZERO ISSUES, proving the stylist was the problem. Never again would I want to waste money here. read more

I had gone to another Petsmart to get some fish for my son. Their tanks seemed a little sketchy (that should have been a red flag to not get fish there) and the fish died within two days. My son kept mentioning them and I finally agreed to try with a few more fish at this location. Their tanks look immaculate in comparison. The staff was beyond courteous and did their best to make this experience very pleasant. I feel much more confident that these fish are much healthier and better cared for. read more

O.M.G....... This is the worst Petsmart I have ever gone to! My 7 year old daughter came with me to this Petsmart to buy food for our cat. I was shopping in the cat food aisle and she was looking at all the animals. I grabbed the cat food and I walked out of the aisle, but when i did, some rude employee looked at me and said "maam, is that your child?" She pointed to my daughter and I said yes that is my child. The employee rolled her eyes and said "she was eating the cat treats and when we told her to not eat them and that they were for the cats she hissed at us" she also told me that if my daughter ate anything else in the store they would kick us out. Um, excuse me? Why would you kick me and my daughter out of the store??? She is 7 years old for crying out loud. She doesn't know not to eat the cat's treats. She was hungry because she hadnt eaten. That was just so rude of the employee to say that to us. Leave my daughter alone!! Let her eat the cats treats she isn't bothering you! read more

Never again will I use the grooming services here. We usually go to the Millbrook location but there weren't enough groomers there that day to handle our needs. Decided to give this location a try. All we needed was a pawdicure (nail trim/grind and ear cleaning/trim). I had to tell the lady with the glasses to clean his ears and she responded with "yeah, I'm glad you mentioned it because I usually forget to do that to the other dogs". I watched her through the glass as she plucked the hairs from his ears and she was SOOOOOO rough! My dog was hurting and he usually does just fine. His nails were still sharp when we left so I wrote a review and "the director of engagement" or something like that contacted me. She offered me a full refund and apologized for the negligence of the workers. I have yet to see a refund. I even contacted her again, radio silence. These ppl don't care for your pets like you do and their customer service sucks. I find it appalling that an employee would openly admit to not doing services that a customer pays for. Keep a careful eye on this location. I'd avoid. read more

The girls were so amazing and friendly. I love a place that I can go to and laugh and joke around with. Rachel was kind, informative and made me laugh so much with her stories. Ashley was so gentle with my chihuahua and my long haired cat. The other 2 girls, forgive me I didn't catch their names, but were just as kind and funny. I had a very welcoming and homey feeling. My animals didn't come back to be fearful or acting weird which shows a lot about a place. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and I hope this gets back to them as well :) read more

Came in on a Friday around lunch time & was surprised they weren't busy. I was greeted by an employee at the the register. This location is smaller than the ones I'm used to back home in the metro Charlotte area, but it was neat, organized & clean. Signs clearly marked where items were located, so I was able to find Milo's favorite treats & his calming treats. I was really pleased when the cashier cheerfully combined the two different coupons I had, instead of making me purchase the items separately, since technically I wasn't supposed to combine them. Prices are reasonable & with the Pet Perks program, you can save even more. Parking is tricky, since they're in a shopping center. read more

I was asked at least 6 times if I needed any help and found everything I was looking for in some form. Meaning, this location is really too small in my opinion. The worst place you can go- Conflict of interest pushing for vet servicing via the vet corp association they have. Generally high pricing. One particular omniscient ever present staff person gives sour vibe to what should be a fun experience. I went to Petsmart today had a full cart. I walked up to check out ,one line had 4 customers another cashier opened up a lady from that line moved over to the newly open register. I went shorty after no on from the other line moved over. The light was on above his register so I moved behind the lady and waited my turn he turned away and I said your not going to check me out and he said NO. I couldn't believe it. I've shopped at Petsmart for over 20 years. I didn't go into the other line I abandoned my cart and walked out the door. Be careful who you hire so they don't drive your business away! read more

The store portion is actually nice; well stocked, friendly staff, speedy and welcoming cashiers. We come here often to pick up supplies or just to train and have fun in the aisles with our pup; we've always had a pleasant experience here. But, not happy with the grooming at this location. When we picked up our dog his feet were not done at all, the hair on the bottom was exactly as it was when we walked in. Some of the trimming on the body is uneven and not well blended. Another groomer "fixed" the feet as the one we were booked with had gone on break, but the job was half finished and the feet not being worked on at all makes me wonder what else was "overlooked" during the groom process. read more

Horrible horrible!! We made an appointment a week in advance to get our two dogs washed and groomed.. we have been taking them over there for over 2 years. We get there and there is a young lady Nam s Daniella who doesn't even look up to geeet us.. mind you, on one else is there.. so I finally asked can you help us? Without looking is she said..Name? And my partner said can you at least give us an eye contact? At the point she started yelling at us that my uncle has cancer and I'm here all alone.. Thank you!! And she gave us a look that could kill.. we didn't feel comfortable leaving our pups there so we left and told the store manager and all he said was. Ok!!! Wow.. great customer service.. now I see why people are scared to take their dogs to Petsmart!! She could and would have hurt them!! read more

We came in to buy a hamster, we then got everything the hamster would need to be happy and healthy and the lady then told us we would probably not be able to buy it for no reason other than because we were cracking jokes. That same lady then brought a guy up because she thought he would tell us no but he said that we could. She then brought another woman up telling her to tell us that we wouldn't be able to and then made up excuses so that we couldn't buy it. I walked into Petsmart to purchase dog food. Went to the cashier, Carolyn. She is not wearing a mask. She is wheezing. She has a respiratory condition. I called to talk to the manager. He was busy so I talked to Robert, the assistant manager. I explained my concern to Robert and was met with silence. Robert does not care. I was a nuisance call to Robert. I hope Carolyn does not have covid-19. But anyone with a customer facing job should be wearing a mask...beside it's mandated by the city of Raleigh. The first thing one hears on the Petsmart phone recording is how concerned they are about the safety of their customer. If you are thinking about getting your pet groomed here, I would go somewhere else. My poor Yorkie was basically tortured by their groomers. I actually wanted to try this place out since they were new ( I like clean new facilities ) but I did not think their staff would all be new and inexperienced. My Yorkie was bleeding and her hair looked choppy. I didn't even want them to fix it, I took her to a different Petsmart. The only reason why I gave them a 2 star is because the manager honestly did take care of the situation and refunded my money. It was just a huge mistake. read more

This is by far the nicest PetSmart I have visited. The minute we walked in with our pet, we were warmly greeted by every employee we saw and we received several offers of assistance. We were purchasing something new for our dog, so the employee took his time with us and made sure that we we understood what we were looking at. Everything was very neat and clean and there was a great selection. Most impressively, my crazy animal peed on the floor twice (after she peed about 800 times before coming inside) and every single employee couldn't have been nicer or more courteous about cleaning the mess up. The worst customer service ever! The store advertises sales, yet the shelves are bare. When I asked for rainchecks, they said their store doesn't do that. What?!? You advertise specials you don't have... Then I'm given the option by their floor manager that I could choose another product, or come back some other time. They did not even offer to look in the back to see if there were additional supplies. I've spent thousands of dollars over the years at Petsmart. I've donated to their charities..... Plus item rang up higher than shelf price but employee couldn't leave the front to check the price. I will def return to store by Trader Joes for better service and prices. My daughter and I visited this location last night, as she was in search of a simple fish tank for an added feature in her living room. We also took my rescued pit mix, Sasha, with us, who is being rehabilitated. She is extremely people friendly, but has some dog socialization issues. I did attach her yellow ribbon to give the heads up that she was in training. I so wish I had gotten all of the girls' names, but not only did the one assistant help my daughter for probably over 45 minutes, but she and the rest of the employees made sure Sasha was getting the attention she needed and stimulation to help with her insecurities. The staff was clearly interested in my dog and her success, at the same time, being very very helpful to my daughter. Even though I had planned on going back just regularly to walk around in the store with Sasha, the employees suggested it before I even mentioned it. GREAT STAFF with good knowledge. read more

I will never go back. They are terrible, not friendly, incompetent and charged me for grooming services I never asked for (a whopping total of $100 to be exact). I called and made an appointment for a puppy bath for my two 6 month old puppies (the puppy bath from the puppy coupon books). I specifically referenced the puppy books when I made the appt so that they would know which bath I wanted. My boyfriend dropped them off and I told him to ask to get their teeth cleaned also (an additional $11 each which I was okay with). When I came to pick them up, my bill came to $95 -- $55 after the coupons. I was expecting to ONLY be paying for 2 $25 puppy baths plus 2 $11 teeth cleanings MINUS $40 in coupons from the puppy book = making a grand total of roughly $32. They charged me for services I NEVER asked for (including an oatmeal conditioner??) and tried to say that my boyfriend asked for it. My boyfriend only reiterated what I had told him, which was only adding on the teeth cleaning. They said because he signed off on it, even though he NEVER asked for that unnecessary stuff, that there was nothing they could do about it. So again, I will NOT be going back there. I hope they know what poor customer service turns into. A poor review blasted on the Internet. Maybe this will help their corporate mindset be a little more mindful of the customer experience rather than just the dollar signs. So, for people that choose to still go and get their dogs groomed there, just make sure you read the fine print and actually know what you're signing off on. Wouldn't want the same, obnoxious experience to happen to you. read more

Banfield employees when inquiring into their prescription Hills Cat foods, they would meet the prices I have been paying at Chewy.com online. When I came back on 14th, another employee said same and said to simply tell cashier. When I got to this insulent young man, he very rudely said no & refused. Mind you, I am spending $82.00. He was so rude to me, I said no problem, ring this up and I won't be back. He did. I saw the Mgr, called him over and he told the cashier he was wrong, I was right but the sale had been made and I said I would not be back. He also said their online prices are the same as Chewy.com's because they bought them.They ignored me, arguing, and I left. I have done sales & customer service in this city for a global corporation for 26 yrs and I feel this place is just the absolute worst place to give your hard earned money. read more

I have been a long-time customer of PetsMart (in Apex) and was excited to see this store open near me. Unfortunately, the excitement ended there. On multiple occasions, I've encountered unfriendly employees (almost to the point of being rude) and disrespectful management. They have no idea what customer service is, do not want to help and act like they'd rather be anywhere but working there. My recent experience with a manager left me feeling publicly embarrassed and totally shocked. I will never go to this store again - and maybe no other PetsMart either. The employees and management should be ashamed. There corporate headquarters should reevaluate the employees here. read more
