I have 2 very anxious dogs who have had not great experiences with grooming in the past. Jason was so patient with my dogs. My Staffy mix is very afraid of people (especially men) she doesn't know and after she was all done she actually came up to Jason and licked his face, I was astonished. Sally looks fantastic and is so much happier since her beautification! Today was our first haircut and beautification with Rachel/Pack and Pride. Sally is a very nervous/anxious rescue who's very leary of strangers. It took months for her to get comfortable with our last groomer. Rachel was wonderful with Sally and even let Rachel do her toe nails (WOW)...that's a miracle in and of itself! I'm thrilled with Pack & Pride: great service, easy to get appointments, they communicate every step of the way and they certainly didn't disappoint. i 100% appreciate Oak City Pet Sitting! We went on vacation and didn't have the stress of bringing our 2 cats with us. (It would have been stressful for us and stressful for them!) I contacted Alex w/Oak City & they were able to get our pets in even with pretty short notice. Oak City came to our home each day we were gone to feed & water our boys as well as scoop litter & administer meds to one of them. They also took a pic of them everyday and texted it to me. Highly recommend for the Raleigh area! We are new to the area and we were anxious about starting a new pet sitting service, but this family owned company came highly recommended by friends and family. There are a lot more options on their website and customer portal than most other companies we have used, in addition to better options for specific pet sitting times, and specific instructions, extras, etc. They were so quick to respond both in setting up and while we were away when we needed to contact them, they send updates, and even and try to maintain consistency for your pets by trying to have the same person come around the same time each day. Wonderful experience, great communication and care. I have a picky, high maintenance / energetic Yorkie and this was more than I hoped for. With a last minute business trip it was great to meet the sitter - at my home just a day before leaving town. Alex took charge with my dog and listened to my routine and concerns. I was able to schedule the walks and love time needed on our normal schedule. I received text updates and pictures; payment was easily made and is at a reasonable rate. The paperwork let me specify my dog's needs and any concerns. All while he could remain in his own home. While we were away recently for a week, Alex and Kira took care of our beloved kitty, our unintentional outdoor cat, and our house, with exceptional care.
