The 2" cut on my puppy's stomach she did not tell us about and attempted to hide it with some sort of super glue. Don't go here
    Jon P.

I give a star to the guy at the counter. The groomer, on the other hand, deserves nothing except this warning to anyone that is thinking about taking your beloved pet to her. With spring starting and warm weather showing its face on occasion we took our thick coated puppy in for a grooming. After quite an awkward discussion of what we wanted him to look like, we felt like the woman's experience was enough to make up for the absence of people skills. We were mistaken. Upon picking up our dog and seeing/dismissing a few spots that were considerably longer than the rest, we got him home to find a 2" long fold of skin that looked sort of like the flap on a sealed envelope. We went back and asked what happened; we were told she knicked his stomach a bit and they put Neosporin on it. Further inspection led us to believe that some sort of crusty looking super glue was used to hide a knock. More time passed and we found that we were correct once part of the glue pulled off and showed bloody scabs underneath and their origin, the deep wound. We were, and remain sick to our stomachs. We were not told of this cut and wouldn't think so bad about a small accident, since knicks do happen, but since this is considerably more than a regular knick we are stuck worrying about infection and cleaning up blood. Groomers should inform owners of accidents and vet visits should DEFINITELY not follow groomer visit. Anyway, I added a picture of the cut to this site and do not recommend you trust the woman with your family member. The boarding and day care should be ok since I don't think she is involved.

I bring my 7 month old pup here once a week & she LOVES IT. When i pick her up, she falls asleep in the car before we can even get out of the parking lot. I thought it would be a good idea for her to go to a daycare because she is very timid around strangers, but if she sees another dog get pet or say hello to a person, she's less afraid. She's been there for a full day of daycare about 5 times now & she now runs up to the workers when we drop her off in the morning because she is so excited. I'm very happy with how the daycare is helping her socialization. Although they don't have camera for you to check in on your pup, they do take pictures & post them on their Facebook page & I can tell by her face in the pictures that she is having a blast. We love pup's day out!

    Super awesome dog boarding!!!

When we picked him up on Sunday, he was in a great mood, happy to show off his new "friends", but exhausted from all his playtime.

Colby the owner explained it best to me when he said "It's not about punishment, it's about attention and boundaries. Dogs want to please their owners, so once you have their attention their instinct takes over and training becomes easier. The strides and response to this training are remarkable. So pleased with the results so far. I am happy and more importantly my dog is happy. We have only had 3 private whole day training sessions, and tonight we will attend our first group training. Looking forward to this as it can only help build on the foundation established in the private 3 lessons. The training is not inexpensive, however it cheaper than replacing carpet not to mention several pairs of shoes, baseboards ETC. I recommend sitting down with Colby or any of the other trainers and let them explain why this works. You won't have any regrets. Rick W

Take this advice, and stop here when you are looking for a positive reinforcement dog trainer who knows her stuff! I have known Rebecca for a few years when I met her needing a dog trainer for our Betty White, who is leash reactive. I had been through some "meh", and not so great trainers who used fear tactics for my sweet girl, and so I was reluctant to try another, but I knew she needed help. Once I met Rebecca, I knew her philosophy aligned with mine and what i wanted for Betty. Rebecca came to our home, did an consult/meet and greet, to determine where Betty was with her learning, and what motivates her, ahem, treats. :) Long story short, it was clear that clicker training was best and so Rebecca taught us what we needed to do on our walks to get her to stop jumping at cars passing by, or people on bikes going by. Note, we had homework. If a trainer tells you that he/she can "fix" your dog and doesn't have you involved nor give you things to work on, run! Also needing to be said, if you don't do your homework and work with your pet, then training won't work for you. It is great to have a trusted trainer who is part of our "it takes a village" mentality when it comes to our sweet girl. We couldn't be more thrilled to have found Rebecca Andrews!

Our puppy was just under 1 year old when we sent her to Jonathan and I could not be more pleased with the results. I was wrong about sending her as now she is much calmer and actually listens to us sometimes. Well more often than not. Neither of us had any experience with owning and training a dog before so this was truly a Godsend. Zoey now listens to basic commands and Jonathan worked with both of us on how we need to do things with her so that we are consistent and this is how we get her to do the commands that she had learned. Continuing education is a part of the program and is included and we will be taking advantage of these classes as we continue to learn about the right way to train our dog. I highly recommend both Jonathan and the entire Dog Camp Training Staff but we are bias to Jonathan as he is the man.

She's only been home for a day but i can tell such a huge difference. She is less reactive, more respectful, and so open to commands and direction. Angie and Kersti were amazing with her and did everything i asked and more! They were so sweet and patient with her and were so knowledgeable of her breed and her needs. I got a report card and video at the end of her camp and both were very thorough. I also LOVED the constant posts and emails of how she was doing since i was missing her immensely!! When she came home both trainers spent almost two hours with us teaching us everything she learned and how to do some leash drills. I paid extra for a camera suite for my dog's stay from Nov 26-30, and the only reason I knew what…read morewas actually happening with her is because I watched the camera like a hawk. I later learned they do not provide report cards for boarding, only daycare -- meaning unless you constantly chase information, you are left completely in the dark about your pet. I discovered my dog had vomited only because I saw her blanket disappear on camera and called to ask why. I was told it was being washed and would be returned shortly. It never was. The next morning (pickup day), I was told she had soft stool. Later that same day, when I called again because my emergency contact had to pick her up due to their absurdly restrictive 4-5 PM pickup window, I was finally told the full truth: she had missed multiple meals, was barely eating, then throwing up, and had diarrhea. I was also told they only notify owners after three missed meals. So to be crystal clear: my dog was vomiting, not eating normally, and had diarrhea, and neither I nor my emergency contact were notified in real time. I was denied the chance to make informed medical decisions for my own pet. If I had known sooner, I would have pulled her immediately for veterinary care. She has been boarded elsewhere multiple times and has never experienced anything like this. She came home with ongoing diarrhea, extreme anxiety, and was clearly traumatized. She smelled bad, and her bottom was not clean. On top of the health issues, her toys were missing, her medication was not returned at pickup, and I now have to go back for her belongings. Every time I called, staff had to "check her chart" and put me on hold, and it never felt like anyone actually knew or was truly monitoring my dog. The front desk was rude and dismissive at drop-off, and I was given zero reassurance that my dog was in caring hands. I do not believe my dog was in immediate physical danger -- but she was absolutely emotionally neglected, and the failure to communicate active illness is completely unacceptable. I have cancelled her Christmas stay and will never return. This facility may look nice on the surface. What it lacks is real-time medical judgment, transparency, and basic accountability. I would never recommend allowing your dog to stay in a room without a camera here, because without one, you truly have no way of knowing what is happening or what isn't being communicated. Based on my experience, transparency only existed because I had visual access and kept pushing for answers. I trusted this facility to protect and communicate about my dog without me having to play detective, and that trust was completely broken.

I had to pay extra, it seems just to make sure my puppy didn't use the restroom in her crate (which is basically what they are kept in!). Essentially 2 hots and a cot literally.
