So as you all know, I am a little bit crazy about my dog... nope, I lied, actually, I am one of those crazy doggie moms to be honest; I throw a birthday party for my dog, buy lots of treats, get him tons of toys, etc. I swear I think he's got a lot more cool stuff than myself and I work hard so that my dog can have a good life haha. Anyway, I was looking for a nice grooming place for my doggie and decided to try The Pawty after reading a lot of awesome reviews on Yelp... and OMG, I am so glad I found this place because I gotta say, this place is the best grooming place I've ever been to. First of all, I really like the name of this place, how cute... and brilliant. The Pawty haha! Secondly, I love the fact that this place doesn't cage dogs. I mean "grooming" is pretty stressful to dogs already, so caging them for hours and making them wait on us for a while? nope, not a big fan. I made an appointment with Keeley thru the phone and gosh, let me tell you this, she is the best/nicest groomer ever. When we got there, Teddy was too nervous and as soon as she picked him up, he pooped! I felt so bad but Keeley just laughed and tried so hard to make my dog feel comfortable. My dog has some kind of anxiety issue and when I met Keeley, I already knew that Teddys in good hands! I told Keeley what kind of haircut I wanted, things about Teddy, etc. I could tell Keeley truly cares about dogs and she will treat your dogs just like hers! She did such an amazing job with my little man Teddy and I was so impressed; perfect nails, poofy tails, his body hair looked so even, and oh my god, Teddy smelled so good for days!!! I think that for this kind of amazing job and the fact that my dog doesn't need to wait on me in the cage for hours, this price is very reasonable. Teddy and I just came back from our second visit today and Teddy seemed like he had such a great time with Keeley! Keeley always tells me how Teddy did, what I need to know about his coat and skin, and other little stuff I can miss easily. Keeley, owner of The Pawty, has been grooming our dog for the past two years without issue. We recently got a puppy and Keeley agreed to groom her along with our other dog. Keeley was made aware of our puppy's age and weight, and was sent a picture of her. The grooming appointments were scheduled three weeks in advance of the grooming date. Today, less than 24 hours before our appointment, Keeley informed us that a rabies vaccine is needed or our pup can't be groomed. She also told us that our pup would not get a cut during the appointment since it was her first appointment. None of this information was disclosed at booking. I expressed my disappointment with her late notification and explained that we are headed out of town and have no other way to get our puppy groomed before traveling. Keeley knew that our puppy was only 10 weeks old. Any experienced and well-versed groomer should know that puppies don't get rabies vaccines until at least 15 weeks old. Keeley stated that this is what all groomers require. She never acknowledged her responsibility in not informing us of her policies at scheduling. We have only ever had one dog and Keeley is the only groomer we have known. How were we to know her policies if she didn't tell us at booking? She gave no apology for the inconvenience or lack of information provided, and she text my husband and I staring "find another groomer." The entire situation is appalling. My husband still can't believe that someone could be so unbelievably unprofessional. Beware of this groomer. The lack of professionalism and inability to accept responsibility for her actions is enough to steer clear of Keeley and The Pawty. Our soon-to-be new groomer couldn't believe the text messages from Keeley either. Perhaps it was all a blessing in disguise. We didn't realize how overpriced Keeley was until now and also how lacking her list of services is. I hope this review is helpful to any and all loving dog parents. read more

I'm always very hesitant to take my baby to a new groomer since we have had some bad experiences in the past. However The Pawty was definitely not the case! The location is in an uncrowded industrial park with small offices with easy parking. It's a bit hard to find at first but once you get there one time you will be familiar. I asked for my pup to have a short, short summer cut. i told Keeley that I didn't expect her to be cute since I wanted all the hair shaved. Gucci ended up looking fantastic! Even though her face was cut short it still looked very attractive! Keeley even showed me how short her fur would be by doing a test shave before I left. I was especially impressed with how great her ears turned out! You could definitely see that there was still an amazing attention to detail even though she was getting a shave down. Best of all there were absolutely not cuts or scratches from the razor! I was really very impressed! Also the turn around time is fantastic. Gucci was done in exactly an hour and Keeley was very communicative prior and after Gucci was finished. Finally her price is the fairest I have found in the area in years. $45 for a small dog for a summer cut. We will definitely be making The Pawty our main groomer from now on! read more

Amazing groomer!! They do it for passion and it shows. Called up Pawty and asked for an appointment to get my baby showered and groomed. The VM mentioned that they weren't expecting any more clients and if they did it was on a case-by-case basis. But to my surprise, the lady promptly called back, asked a few basic questions and gave me an appointment the very next day. My husband could not believe that groomers can be so compassionate and gentle while handling pets. Our Charlie came out looking fabulous and most important unharmed. All of his previous groomers would leave razor burns in his crotch or belly despite our warnings.They did not go overboard with the fragrance and he felt soft as a pillow. Sadly, we are not from the area but if we do ever return, we know where we should take Charlie!!!!! read more

Best dog groomers I've ever been to! We went here on a recommendation and were more than impressed. They responded to our grooming request quickly and were able to fit us in! Our two small dogs were fully groomed for $45 a piece(cut, wash, nails cut, ears cleaned, blow dry). I've tried numerous other groomers in the area and the cheapest price has been $60 for one and $65 for the other based on breed. They did a phenomenal job! They cut they exactly as we asked and even did a test cut during drop off to make sure we liked the length! They were so friendly! They saw me pull up and came out to help me unload the two dogs and since it was raining at pick up time they held an umbrella over us so the new groom wouldn't be wasted in the rain! Keeley is the absolute best! Our menace sees her every 6 weeks (maltipoo), and she is SOOO patient and accommodating with him. It's taken a few tries to get just the right cut, but she is so attentive and happy to make alterations when we pick him up if we need a slightly different 'do. I'm a big fan of the Pawty! After reading what felt like a million Yelp reviews for local groomers I called three, Keeley was the only one who had an appointment within a reasonable timeframe, off to the Pawty we went! The grooming salon is tucked away in a nondescript complex. The interior of the Pawty is cute and I like that it is smaller. Keeley only grooms one dog at a time and there are no cages. My dog does not enjoy going to the groomers or being in a crate so I like that she does not have to sit around waiting in a crate for her turn to be groomed or to be picked up. Keeley gives a lot of attention to detail and wants to ensure she is giving your pup the exact haircut you want! I apparently have no idea what I am doing when explaining things or figuring out how long/short to keep Layla's hair. Last time the length I told Keeley was way too short, when I told her that this time she suggest a length and Layla's cut was perfect. She also gives the tastiest treats as a parting gift. I love that I can give my dog one in the car to try to buy her love back. read more

Wow I am SO IMPRESSED with this place compared to Petco and any other large chain, I took my often scared corgi here and he had so much fun I watched the whole time. It is clean and I love it I am coming here everytime and told my friends and family about it!!! I never write reviews for things unless I get bad service but this is such a great place I'm telling you! They really are attentive and sweet to all your dog needs and they gave me a full service bath, hair clipping, ear cleaning, nail trim for $45 bucks and I got a free dog facial and bath for my next visit. I took my westie to The Pawty after a terrible experience at Petsmart of Cary. It was great, and I was very pleased! The groomer was nice to my dog and shaved a test strip on the dog while I was there to make sure I was happy with the length. Lassie previously got really anxious when we would arrive at the other groomers, but she was much calmer here. She was even happy through the day after I picked her up! (versus acting traumatized after her last couple grooming appointments elsewhere). The actual groom was great, also. Lassie looked so fresh. :) It was also less expensive than other places, so a great deal and I plan to return when Lassie needs another trim. read more

My experience here was great! When I took in my fur child to get groomed, he was the only dog in store which was amazing because my dog gets nervous around other dogs and the loud barks at the groomers. The owner took a video of Schooner while was being dried to show me how good he was! She also gave us some treats to go for thanking us for our business. The pawty and keeley are incredible! I have had great groomers in this past, but she is the best in every way possible. First of all, she always does such a great job on my dogs! The environment is amazing that she provides any animal (kennel free and FUN), but she goes above and beyond on everything else. She is such a animal lover, provides goodie bags, and provides services that most places would not (such as taking my dogs outside to potty when I've ran late to pick them up). She also provides incredible customer service with great reminders and always tries to make your appointment convenient for you vs for her. I took my broken coat JRT to The Pawty last week for a bath and a summer cut. The service was warm, friendly and exceptional. My JRT had never had a haircut before and they made her very comfortable and gave her a great summer cut. I warned them that she was very skittish about her nails being dremeled and the folks at Petsmart had eventually given on grooming her nails. When I returned to pick her up they showed me a short video of them hand filing Dally's nails and her sitting their calmly while they did it. I think they may be dog whisperers.
