This is quite honestly the rudest business I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I had an appointment to get my cat groomed and woke up at 6 am with body aches and 101degree fever. Knowing that I had a 2 pm appointment I called before they opened and left a voicemail letting them know that I was sick and would need to reschedule. Later in the day instead of a phone call back saying, "We're sorry you're sick, when's a good time to reschedule?" I instead received an email invoice for a $97.50! I called and spoke to several people including the manager, and not one showed an ounce of compassion, kindness or care. Instead they claimed they "had to pay their groomer" although I had given them many hours notice to fill the slot with another pet. They also repeated that "it's in their policy" which it is, but common decency would indicate that if someone is sick you could be less rigid with one's policy. Maybe this is old school since I moved to Raleigh in 1991, but I still choose to do business with good people who value their clients (I was a return client). For just booking an appointment, you'll be charged a $97.50 "non-refundable holding fee," even though there's a statement at the top of their booking page stating that you will not be charged until you receive services. God forbid life happens and you need to make adjustments, they're keeping your money and telling you "we can forward your info to the owners but there's nothing I can do." They do not allow you to reschedule or cancel appointments online, leaving you to the mercy of someone *maybe* answering their phone. This is avoidant, cowardly, and an incredibly unethical way to do business. I'm only glad that my pet never made it into the "care" of this place. read more

Incredibly rude owner. Just a bad attitude towards customers. The "resort" is literally her fenced in back yard . Ridiculous.

I normally do not write reviews but this company has to be stopped. Upon dropping our dog off for grooming services we were told he would be ready around 540 and they would send a text alert to inform us of his pick up time. We received a text at 520 stating he will be ready in 20 minutes. In route to picking him up at their new location there is a lot of construction happening as new buildings are being built. My husband got stuck in the traffic back up on or around 550. I called and informed them that he was less than 5 minutes away but he was stuck in the traffic due to construction. I was placed on hold and then they returned stating if he was not there by 555. They will be boarding my dog and we will be charged an overnight fee. Now I'm going to put this into perspective. My dog was dropped off at 340. His last feeding was at 230. My dog has a sensitive stomach in which he is on a special diet. I informed the establishment that they did not have any of his special food. Enforced that his dad was around the corner and that we were not comfortable boarding our dog. She stated he was placed in a kennel with WATER and proceeded to hang up. My husband arrived to the boutique at 6:00pm. He parked in the handicap spot as you drive up the hill at their new location. I called to inform them that he was outside but the door was locked and Amanda the owner stated that there was no on present on the property, and that we can pick him up upon them opening at 830 am. She then hung up the phone and refused to answer any of my calls going forward. This is over 10 hours of my dog being fed. There policy states. "Late fees do apply $1 a minute after scheduled pick up/ completion of service time, Late pick up fees cap at $25 (25min) past service ending at that point daycare/overnight fees will be applied in addition to accrued fees. We will only accommodate a 10 min delay after closing fees due apply at a higher rate $5 per min past closing (cap at 10 min then overnight fees apply with pick up next business day. $55 per night)" As we were ok with paying the late fees we were not ok with him staying overnight due to health reason of our pup. This matter was forced and shows that the owner of this establishment does not care for the pups in which they are grooming. Our dog has never been in a kennel or boarded anywhere overnight. Upon picking up my dog at 825 am, you can tell he was crying as the side of his eyes were full of build up, he smelled like pee and had "bile" throw up on the bandana that they place on the pups after grooming services. I inquired about their policy, and it's evident the policy in there emails do not match the policy on the website. Amanda was in no way apologetic and stated she was at the boutique until 610. (Yet refused to answer the phone or allow my husband to pick up our pup) As previously we were happy that we found a groomer that we thought cared for our pup and thought he was being handled with care. Especially due to his health concerns. After the service we received yesterday we are VERY displeased with the establishment and do not recommend it. This establishment not only lacks communication with consumers, but they are unprofessional, unrealistic, frauds that do not abide by their own policy and will tell you they can do what they please at their discretion. read more

Mosa is the best pet spa in the area. I love this place and more importantly, my babies love it here. My oldest, Mocha gets so excited the night before to "go to the spa" She knows exactly where she's going and she absolutely loves it. Amanda and her staff treat our girls as if they were their own and that means a lot. They aren't just another client, they're treated like family. That gives us peace of mind. The services offered are top notch as well. Our girls are so soft and clean after their visit and they're so happy the rest of the day. I wish I could give no stars. We arrived at the agreed upon time (8am) and followed instructions on the gate sign: call number on the sign and do NOT enter until you speak with someone. We call at 8, 805, 810 and goes straight to VM. The paperwork states there is a tight drop off time, gate is open but this is a private residence so we waited until we were instructed to proceed through the gate, Received a text that it was ok to enter, then was berated by the "provider" a young girl in ripped jeans and a KISS cutoff t shirt, that the instructions on the information we signed were clear and we should have known how to enter the gate if we read it. Ummm, we did read it but again, the sign states no entrance until you speak with someone and we couldn't get in touch with anyone (maybe try turning th do hone on at 8am). We stood there for 15 mins, waiting for someone to let us in. We were late for work. The "provider" was incredibly rude and condescending. Seeing her problem solving abilities, customer service, and conflict resolution skills was enough to tell us NOT to leave our dog with her. Mind you, this is a small private home, just with a big yard. I am paying you to let my dog play here while you essentially babysit them. It is a sketchy looking place to begin with. People were dropping off kids, dogs. Who don't they watch? So unprofessionaL. Do not leave your pets here. I question their "holistic" claiming credentials in dog watching. read more

I have tried other groomers in the past, and the stress of being kenneled in a strange place for hours was a lot on them. We have been going to Mosa for almost 5 years now, and our babies have never looked better! We have a Maltipoo and a Yorkiepoo, and so a good groomer is important. They love to go see their friends at Mosa, and always come home looking fabulous! We love trying out different looks for different seasons/temperatures, and we are never disappointed! This review is for all the pet lovers/owners out there: Recently, my 20+ year pet groomer had to relocate out of state which caused me to go on a hunt for a new one. My pup is my precious baby and I want the best of the best for my little guy. I normally don't make a judgment on reading reviews before hand because everyone's experience is unique but the first reviewer of this place Yelp review Michael M is spot on. It is so hard to locate and when I called Amanda who is the owner can't give any kind of direction almost like she doesn't even know where she is. Her tone is very snippy and agressive when I mention how she is talking to me she even gets worse. Almost like she doesn't want you or your pet as a client. I would never ever trust someone like her to leave my baby with. If you can't even have a normal human interaction how could you care for a pet. This place is incredibly rigid with appointment times. They fine you for being late with pickup and esp drop off. Their place is very hard to find, in the middle of a subdivision, with approx last mile 25m/hr. Their policies state: $1/min after 10 min late for drop off. $1/min after designated pick up time. $5/min after 10/min designated pick up time. They will KEEP the dog after 30 min on last appointment. You have to call to arrange a pick up time after that plus charges. When I got the bill, an automatic fee was appended, with no opportunity to see a breakout. Their demeanor was snippy and curt on drop off, and absolutely ice cold on pickup. For a mediocre to poor hair cut for our shih tzu. I guess their business model assumes they will lose 60-80% of new customers. They have certainly lost our business. I'm sure they will do a fair job with greyhounds. read more

Can't say enough about Mosa pet spa, being a first time pet owner I started taking my pet to the big box groomers, wasn't very pleased with them they weren't very helpful with answering my questions that many new pet owners have regarding grooming a dog who has hair that grows very quickly and tangles easily. Found Miss who had a five star rating and a long wait list, but it was well worth the wait. I get tons of compliments on her cut and am asked where I take her to get groomed on a daily basis. I would reply with no stars if possible. I showed up at the time I had made the appointment 6 weeks before (this was our second appointment), and I was accused of bringing the wrong dog, which was not true. I had no dog fitting the description and name they were accusing me of. Finally, I convinced the rude person to groom my Molli, something I later regret. When I returned to pick Molli up, that's when I was told the other person they were expecting had the exact same name (which I've had happened before) as myself. But get this, I was then told they also had the same exact email address. What?? Anyway, a couple of days later, I ended up taking Molli to the veterinarian for an ear infection. She's never had an ear infection before, and 3 weeks later, she is still on medication for it. I left a review at the Mosa website, but it disappeared. For as rude as they were to me, it scares me on how they would treat my Molli. I will not return!! read more

Amanda and her team are amazing. Always go over everything with you at drop off so you know what to expect with your dogs grooming. I bring rescue dogs so sometimes they can be in bad shape with matting. Amanda is always willing to work with them and they always come out looking their absolute best. I wish there was a half because I never give five stars until I've had three experiences with a provider. But Mosa is definitely a 4 and a 1/2 . I really appreciate Mosa's very clear expectations of clients. It helped me to choose Mosa for my schnoodle's first haircut after the pandemic, loss of trusted groomer and then a severe immune disorder that kept her isolated for the past two years. We did the YouTube diy thing but it got to be too much. Enter Cait who talked me through Maya's needs which for a triple coat dog are many. I knew Mosa's policy was to shave severe matting and we discussed that in advance. When I arrived, a practically new dog greeted me. Cait went through what she found as she groomed Maya, did an excellent job of following the photo I showed of Maya pre-pandemic and my dog appeared to love her. I miss the ease of the mobile groomer but love the focus on a home business with a holistic one on one approach. read more
