Love the staff! Super sweet, knowledgeable and helpful! And my pup absolutely loved his birthday cookie from them. I like that this store carries high quality dog food and treats. My dog eats Orijen and usually it is hard to find in pet stores but thankfully I've found it here and at a reasonable price. I also love the huge selection of pet treats, chews and toys. You think the store looks small from the storefront but they sure pack a lot of goodness in that place. Plus their bully sticks and chews are much cheaper than most of those corporate pet stores and I mean significantly cheaper. Brady and I really appreciate that. If you're needing help finding the right dog food for your pet, these guys are the people to go to for sure. But either way it's a great place to stock up on goodies for your pup. Highly recommend!

My puppy loves his new cow ear, thanks Unleashed!

They had the best prices I have ever seen for a dog store. My puppy's cow ear only cost $1 and he LOVES it. There was so much to select from and had everything from treats, to food, accessories, toys, and even a wash room. Will definitely be coming back!

This locally owned family and community oriented chain of 7 pet store was recommended by our Dog Trainer (at Petsmart) and she was right. Superior product quality and prices to any other pet store in Raleigh! This store had the perfect harness, brand "Plush" for our Morkie and any  Yorkie mix, or Chihuahua or any toy breed with small neck size and small to medium girth. We bought and went through over 6 harnessness in 4 weeks at other pet stores before finding this high quality best features brand. Three locking mechanisms to prevent pulling off totally. Soft comfortable material far better than typical nylon harnesses. Finally a solution! Xena, the sales person, in the North Raleigh Stonehenge store, was so friendly and loving to our puppy. Only at a well managed privately owned store like this with great full time employees would you get such personalized attention.  Xena is a real dog lover and said she has three at home. She helped us find the exacty right brand and style for our 6 pound Morkie (Yorkie & Maltese mix), Rosie, who is 14 weeks and needed a 2xs which fits perfectly with room to grow. I have to pick her up by the leash because I can't bend over to the floor. Xena found the right solution to my problem thank God and Xena. What I also appreciated was the prices were about 30% less than the Amazon price for the same item. I read other reviewers who also said pricing is below big box stores explains their customer loyalty along with superior knowledge, products and customer service. I read the owners, Amy and JP Phinney's Mission Statement and entrepreneurial history on their website at www.unleashedmutt.com. The founders are great role models for future and present entrepreneurs who understand that family and personal values of problrm solving, community service, great employee training and education, quality products, and competitive Price/Value are the core elements of a sustainable business with a competitive advantage. We will be shopping here from now on! I applaud A.y and JP and your extended business family and employees!

‍Reactive dog owner here!…read more I'd like to start off by saying I have never had a bad experience at any of the Unleashed locations! The staff at each store are absolutely phenomenal. I frequent this store for their dog bathing stations- we usually go to the Cary location but just found this Stonehenge spot which is a little closer to us. General Unleashed info: I always call ahead to reserve a spot for a bath- you must do this to ensure they have time for you. Baths are reserved for an hour. They usually fill up quickly for a weekend spot but I've never had any issues with same day reservations so long as you are flexible. I also really appreciate that the staff has always been super considerate and understanding when I specify that my dog is reactive to both other dogs and some people. I usually let them know while he looks super approachable because he's so fluffy and cute () he's kind of a butthead with strangers (). They always respond with kindness and politely give him plenty of space when we come in- and also let us know if there are other dogs in the store when we come in! I cannot tell you how much reassurance this gives us as owners to a reactive dog- we appreciate this courtesy so much! Protip: buy the frequent bather card! $60 for 4 baths and your 5th is free! They link this to your phone number so you don't have to worry about losing the card and it is good for use at any of their locations! Stonehenge specific: The bathing area is in the back of the store and is a converted bathroom and has plenty of space! I love that you can close and lock the door! (Re: reactive dog) There are ties you can use in the bathing tub as well as the drying area in case you have an escape artist. The water took a little to warm up but got to a nice mild temp for my pup. I would say the bathing station is a good size for dogs up to the 60-ish lb range. 70 and up might be a challenge just because of the height but I'm sure you could manage if you are determined. TL;DR $15 self bathing station, well worth the price for not having to clean up/well stocked bathing area and very accommodating staff.

I have already submitted complaints through their online system and by email, but no one has responded or followed up. The lack of customer service and accountability is extremely frustrating. Pet owners trust companies like this to provide safe products for their animals, and ignoring customer complaints about damaged food is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Pet Supermarket and will be taking my business elsewhere.

The store manager, Kayla, was especially rude and dismissive. Instead of being welcoming or helpful--especially to someone looking to adopt--her attitude made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. They were so mean to the cat she jumped out the cage and was lost for several hours. As a customer, I expect basic respect and professionalism, and that was clearly lacking here. The way I was treated did not reflect a business that values its customers or the community it serves. I strongly encourage others to be aware of how they may be treated before choosing to support this business. There are plenty of other pet stores and adoption centers that are kind, respectful, and genuinely care about both animals and people. I will not be returning.

Also, what a cute business name?! have heard good things about Woof Gang in the past and when I walked in, I was immediately drawn to the table display of homemade treats. The two women working let me know that the treats are made fresh, in-house every day, which I wasn't expecting! I don't remember their names, but they were super friendly and helpful. They have 2 locations in the Raleigh-area, I believe. The parking in Cameron Village isn't always the greatest, but depending on the time you show up, you may still be able to snag a spot in front of the building. We walked away with a few frosted treats, a bag of their brand's treats, and a duck head (we heard these were so popular!). I think the prices were pretty fair considering this is a gourmet pet shop/groomer but did read a sign that said prices would be changing come 2021. I would definitely come back again! I'm so glad I checked Woof Gang out!

On two separate occasions, my dog came home with injuries--once with her paws cut too short to the point that she required veterinary attention, and another time with an injury near her eye. Despite giving the business the benefit of the doubt after these incidents, I continued to try their services. After booking a future appointment, I was then called and informed that they would be cancelling and no longer providing services for my dog moving forward. While I understand any business can choose to discontinue service, the decision felt abrupt given the history of prior incidents and lack of resolution or discussion. Overall, I am disappointed with both the safety experience and the way the situation was handled. I would not feel comfortable recommending this groomer to others.
