A properly groomed Glitch

We have a miniature schnauzer who thinks he's the biggest and baddest pup of them all. Once a week he goes on a field day with a bunch of other dogs, they go swimming in the lake dig in the mud and every other dog thing you can think of that makes hair care a pain. We bring him here and they get him all trimmed and in proper condition again.

My little 9 year old dog has very complicated fur, I have tried so many groomers and she never turns out the way I want and she always comes home looking traumatized. However, I brought her here for the first time and they totally put my mind at ease! They were super nice and friendly and I love that they had her specific groomer come out, talk to me, and ask me exactly how I want her cut. I picked her up and she was so happy and excited! Definitely exceeded my expectations.

I took my precious dog daughters here for the first time today and I am impressed! My Chihuahua hates baths and has anxiety in new places but when we walked in we were greeted with a precious little girl who bent down and started petting and loving on my girl. As her mama, I get anxiety myself taking her anywhere because I hate seeing her so scared but after seeing how comfortable she was with that little girl, I immediately knew everything was going to be fine! My English Bulldog has sensitive skin and food allergies and they were very understanding and didn't act annoyed like other places I've taken her to were. They were done promptly on time and looked beautiful, smelled wonderful and had the sweetest little Christmas bandanas on! Great prices and excellent customer service!! We will be back! Thank you!!!

They won't detangle. The just start shaving your dog for just 1 mat. And then charge an astronomical amount for what you did not as for.

My best friend used to be a dog groomer so I would always take my dog to her so my dog would be less scared.

I have hesitated to write a review (it has been months) because it's not entirely positive. It was…read moreour first time going here and I wasn't told they would come out and collect my dogs. But I wanted to talk to someone because one of my dogs was in diapers and I wanted to make sure she was taken care of, so I went in. The person at the desk said it would be fine, they had lots of experience and they would send pics everyday. So I left thinking they would be well taken care of, especially after reading the great reviews. After the first day when I hadn't received pictures, I called to see if they were ok and if I could get pics. I was assured they were fine and they sent pics. The next day, nothing. I had to call everyday to see if my dogs were ok. I didn't get pictures everyday like I was promised. When I did get pictures the one time I asked why my dogs were together, in a small enclosed space, with no other dogs. I had asked that my one dog get to go out and play with other dogs, but they didn't do that. They said they wanted to keep them together, although I had explained that my older dog in diapers wouldn't have cared. I began questioning whether anything I asked had been done. We paid over $1,000 for a week and don't feel that the service we received was worth it. There are lots of great reviews here but we can't add to them.

This place is amazing and I don't know where they managed to find such great people to work there…read more I'm single and have one dog. She's one of the most important things in my life. I travel for work frequently and would do anything to ensure that not only she's safe, but that she's happy and enjoying her days as well. I trust Dog Gone Happy to take care of her - that's saying a lot. They are so mindful that they separate the dogs by energy/personality groups AND they have individual suites with beds for overnight stays. I 1,000% recommend these people.

I paid extra for a camera suite for my dog's stay from Nov 26-30, and the only reason I knew what…read morewas actually happening with her is because I watched the camera like a hawk. I later learned they do not provide report cards for boarding, only daycare -- meaning unless you constantly chase information, you are left completely in the dark about your pet. I discovered my dog had vomited only because I saw her blanket disappear on camera and called to ask why. I was told it was being washed and would be returned shortly. It never was. The next morning (pickup day), I was told she had soft stool. Later that same day, when I called again because my emergency contact had to pick her up due to their absurdly restrictive 4-5 PM pickup window, I was finally told the full truth: she had missed multiple meals, was barely eating, then throwing up, and had diarrhea. I was also told they only notify owners after three missed meals. So to be crystal clear: my dog was vomiting, not eating normally, and had diarrhea, and neither I nor my emergency contact were notified in real time. I was denied the chance to make informed medical decisions for my own pet. If I had known sooner, I would have pulled her immediately for veterinary care. She has been boarded elsewhere multiple times and has never experienced anything like this. She came home with ongoing diarrhea, extreme anxiety, and was clearly traumatized. She smelled bad, and her bottom was not clean. On top of the health issues, her toys were missing, her medication was not returned at pickup, and I now have to go back for her belongings. Every time I called, staff had to "check her chart" and put me on hold, and it never felt like anyone actually knew or was truly monitoring my dog. The front desk was rude and dismissive at drop-off, and I was given zero reassurance that my dog was in caring hands. I do not believe my dog was in immediate physical danger -- but she was absolutely emotionally neglected, and the failure to communicate active illness is completely unacceptable. I have cancelled her Christmas stay and will never return. This facility may look nice on the surface. What it lacks is real-time medical judgment, transparency, and basic accountability. I would never recommend allowing your dog to stay in a room without a camera here, because without one, you truly have no way of knowing what is happening or what isn't being communicated. Based on my experience, transparency only existed because I had visual access and kept pushing for answers. I trusted this facility to protect and communicate about my dog without me having to play detective, and that trust was completely broken.

Not only that, this company is like the Spirit Airlines of "Pet Resorts" You have to pay for people to even pay attention to your pet! Literally have videos of like 30ish dogs just running around and the Human is not showing any affection or any kind of socialization with any of them! Maybe the staff is just young but I definitely need to schedule a vet visit now! I couldn't get a report, or know anything about how my puppy was doing?? How do I even know I got what I paid for? I had to pay extra, it seems just to make sure my puppy didn't use the restroom in her crate (which is basically what they are kept in!). Essentially 2 hots and a cot literally. You are nickel and dimed. They wouldn't even let me say bye as we dropped her off! Granted this was a last resort and last minute thing but NEVER AGAIN! Should be called "Suite Paws Last Resort!" The young girl at the front told me they did give reports (which we didn't get) but the mean lady beside her said they didn't. Which is it?

You could tell more irl that it was cut a bit and had blood smeared. My dog seemed super happy to be there and walked right in through the dog gate to the back. When I was talking to the woman at the register she said that she (my dog) acted like she knew the drill and walked right into her kennel/cage which is incredible because she hates water or baths and usually tries to make a run for it at least she did when we would take her to Petco. Super friendly and helpful staff and extremely reasonable prices ($110 for an XL? dog: mini groom/teeth brushed and clipped nails included)l. My dog is usually between 105-110 lbs). They did SUCH a good job clipping her nails. Even the vets we've seen in the past can't do a good job and sometimes miss nails altogether. They did a wonderful job. Would come back and skip the belly shave. Parking is a loading zone at the front of the shop. It's "downtown" Raleigh but like on the outskirts so it's not too busy and it isn't difficult to get a parking spot if you go in the morning. Drop off is between 8-10am. I dropped her off at 9 and they finished by around 3 (like 2:45 to be exact haha).
