I've visited Universal Stop twice so far. And I will definitely continue to be a customer. It's a tiny store with 2 parking spots. I've only gone in the mornings and both times were not busy. The owner is kind enough to explain how different products compare so I can make an informed decision. The prices are average, so at least you know you're not getting ripped off. He even has a little cappuccino maker. But I don't think it's for customers haha. Overall, I do recommend this smoke shop! read more

Initially I wasn't sure what to think about this smoke shop. It looks like an old liquor store converted to a smoke shop. However, I had an amazing experience!! I came in looking for a bubbler but the owner kindly informed me that a bong was the way to go. He really cared and was very knowledgeable. I greatly appreciate his help! I didn't get the worker name but super cool guy. These are the shops I wanna go to and makes customers go back. Reason why was because I went in to buy a glass for my v9 max and since the glass was $5 and with the 20% it came up to be $4 didn't have cash because with the credit card it's a $1 charge so they guy told me don't worry just bring me the cash later. Came here on a Sunday morning (04/05/2020) and by the date you'll know that social distancing is mandatory. Parked in front of the shop and there were about 3 old men smoking right in front of the door and were even blocking the way. On top of that one of the men smoking his cigarette went inside the shop with it. After making my way thru the cloud of smoke I was able to find what I wanted. Unfortunately this place is extremely overpriced. $20 for a puff bar? Either I was just being given a different price or people are crazy enough to buy it for that much. No thank you. Interesting random but useful products they have to offer. Especially the super fancy water filtration system. This is no average system. Impressive. And no longer available to the public for purchase. They were one of the last ones to receive due to the company now works exclusively on contract with the government. So this fancy system I'm sure wasn't cheap. Hopefully it's paid off now. At any rate, they offer a great and unbeatable price for purified alkanized water for something in the realm of $1.00 a gallon! Can't get Much better than that unless it was free. And if you need a BPA free container for it, then t have various sizes and also for very good prices. I used the yelp check in offer. I got there between shift change, and both of them were super attentive even though they'd have busy rushes of people come in. I always love to see a businesses interactions with their customers. What I loved about here, is that they have an incredible number of regulars that come through. That's always a good sign. It seemed that everyone was an extension of a close family circle, is the only way I can describe it. It was nice to see and not something I expected. The staff are knowledgeable. And genuinely seem to want to help you find exactly what you need/want. They aren't dead inside or seem like you are bothering them. They seem more bothered if they can't help you, if that makes any sense. It was good positive vibe there. I wish I had discovered them years ago when they first opened. So if you need alkanized water at an amazing reasonable price, and if you have any smoking, hookah, pipe, vape needs, the selection of products seems decent. And if you need a prepaid cell phone and accessories, such as cases, headphones, and if you enjoy incense, whatever hand made vendor they use, the quality is actually impressive. When it's done right, it is an art I appreciate. The products seem to be good quality. Doesn't have a cheap look or feel to most things there. For a smoke shop/convenience store, it's a small business I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and am happy to support. read more

Water, Water, Water... can there be anything more delightful than good water. They even have Alkaline water (pH+). I go for the water but they have a plethora of stuff. Cell phones, nice ones too. Pipes, hookas, tobacco, worked glass, electronic cigarettes (my mom is enjoying hers and hasn't had a cigarette since). A ton of electronic cigarettes. I had no idea you can smoke those in places where the traditional cigarettes have been outlawed. On top of all that, the guys there are super cool. Very nice and friendly owners. Clean and well- lit store. The store smelled amazing because they used the oil fragrance (which can be purchased here) with their machine stuff. They sell everything from purified water, snacks, hookah pipes, essential oils (which smell amazing!!), vaporizers, air fresheners, to cellphones, water containers and many other cool accessories (mini flowers in mini pipe glass for Vday...how cute!). Their fridge machine also has a lot of cool drinks like Peace tea and other refreshing beverages. I love how they take out all their products, whichever you're interested in, for you to see. Their water sink have variety of filtered so you can taste the differences (i couldn't tell but hey, i'm no water connoisseur. You can also see the filtration system through a glass window display and i thought THAT was pretty cool. Their price is really reasonable. They also gave us discount and threw in some goodies on whatever you decided to purchase. Great customer service. Highly recommend to check out this cool place. read more

I come here all the time for alkaline water. Not only was it the cheapest alkaline water that I found dollar-per-dollar, but it was also the best quality that I've had as it was fresh from the tap. They really try to match the quality and affordability of any product they also sell. I love that all of the staff wear masks. It makes me feel very safe it's quick I asked for my product put my card in and left it's that simple. The cashier Sako was very polite and respectful. I live very close to this shop and was going regularly. The prices were a bit high but the convenience was great.... Until I tried to return a SIM card. Unopened and in perfect condition. I didn't have my receipt and said store credit would be fine. The owner said "you are making my job very difficult." WHAT?? I have spent hundreds of dollars there. The store was empty. I wasn't asking for cash. He ended up THROWING A PACK OF CIGARETTES AT ME! And said "Who cares about you fucking money!" (Yes he said you). If you can avoid this place you should. ZERO STARS: "PYITE67" it won't let me post Zero "UNIVERSAL STOP IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME FOR YOUR HARD EARNED CASH 2 B SPENT AT" Look I'm not a total asshole, but I have to tell you my story. I started shopping there the 1st week in July maybe more towards the 10th of the month. I purchased a whip it whipped cream dispenser and 200 chargers and had a good time and I went back a few more times for chargers and purchased another 200 chargers @ a time and went to it again. So then I went back to get a new vaporizer and got one of those double battery things 50W sub ohm and Arctic tank and it worked great and was totally Happy. Then the problems started to occur. The whip cream dispenser started leaking wicked amounts of gas and it was wasting it more and more. So I go to talk to Them and the Guy that owns the place is oh I'm so sorry, but there's nothing I can do for you cause they don't do anything for US! And I was like well maybe you should by better products instead of plastic topped containers and he said well that's now my Job? And I'm like what???? So I get some more gas and pretty much waste 1/2 of it. And then the tank on the vaporizer cracked and I tried to get them to do something about that and they wouldn't. So I purchased another tank. And that worked fine up until this week. The battery stopped keeping a charge and the button wasn't working properly. I tried to charge it and the charging port or mini USB port wasn't charging at all. So I went back last night to tray and talk to them 1 last time and it fell upon Deaf Ears again. So I'm in here telling anyone who will listen too me I spent $800 over the course of 3 months. I was pretty much robbed and it's a family business and I have nothing good. Except for the guy that opens in the morning with the thick beard sorry I never got your name brother but he was really super nice to me. And was going to deliver stuff to me at my house but I told him I'll get to him. And then there's the short fret haired guy whoa is a total Dick! And the nephew or cousin who is caught in the middle. He just couldn't do anything and make up his own mind, Very SAD ILL NEVER GO BACK AND I HIGHLY SUGGEST ANYONE WHO SHOPS THERE NOT TO. Cause you'll run into problems and that'll be it and you'll be upset and feel burned as I do. I just wanted good CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALL. Nothing more at all.
