Fake Alkaline Water, we tested and the result was "no alkalinity". We gave a second chance with a new refill, and the same result. And yesterday the lady told us that the main owner is in Whitier and he just changed the filter, so we give it a new chance and look the result: It is not ALKALINE water! Got alkaline water a couple weeks ago. Drank 2 liters through the early afternoon and ended the night with a pounding headache. Apparently alkaline is not so good for you as your stomach needs to be acidic to kill bad bacteria. Your body PH is just meant for neutral water. Came back today to get some normal water. $1.20ish for 2.5 gallons. Don't know what else they serve but the water tasted STRONGLY of chlorine. Another pounding headache as I type at 7:00PM. 2 bad experiences. Lost trust. Not coming back. read more

Excellent! I found this store about 6months ago and keep going back frequently. It's operated by one man, and he's always there. I've gone to other nearby stores which closed when their business hours said open, but that kind of problem never happened with Wateria. He occasionally steps out but always leaves a I'll-be-back-in5" sign at the door, and he really comes back in 5 minutes. As of May 2023 the store closes on Thursdays according to the sign. Wanted to buy a few 5 gallon water bottles which has a price of $7.99 each. However, I had to pay extra for invisible water. To me $8 a bottle is already expensive, why make me pay $2 more each for water I do not want? Nothing wrong with the cashier, she was amazing and super nice. This Wateria is right next door to the ghetto Food 4 Less. If we happen to have the refillable gallon, we'll stop in here to have it done. Wateria has a Spanish sound to it, funny enough it's run by Asian folks. You'll pay pennies on the dollar to have your water container filled up to the brim. What's even cooler is their set-up. It literally looks like a laboratory. The tubes, pipes, etc., are all visible. The set-up looks expensive. Since there's one of those purified water machines down the street from the pad, I rarely go to this one, but it's cool to know that I have options. read more

I drink water like it's the oxygen I breathe, so it was imperative to get my water buying problem down to an easy science. Buying purified drinking water at a great price just got a whole lot easier after finding Wateria. I tried getting the Costco water jugs on a monthly basis, but realized quickly after being dehydrated for a couple of months, water just ain't worth the pain that is the Costco parking lot. Wateria has a few spouts that stream out pure clean water, into the 3 plastic gallon-jugs I have to stock up for work and for home. It's an excellent deal! I have no clue how Ozarka stays in business knowing that these places exist. It's Japanese owned, and feels a lot cleaner than other water places I've been to. I just don't trust those public machines that you put your water jug in just b/c they're so many weird people that I could imagine doing crazy things to it at night when no one's looking. Two more pluses: Each time you fill up, they give you a NEW cap, which most places don't do, and leaves your jug more sanitzed. My arm muscles, or lack there of, also appreciate the rolley carts they have to put your water jugs in so you can take them to your car easily. Yay to keeping hydrated! read more

I've been coming here for years now, almost reaching a decade, and the quality of service and product is always the same: perfect. Location: Within a plaza in between a Rent A Center and a Food 4Less. Ample parking Price: I own 4, 5 gallon bottles and each time it has come out to about $7. Service: There's usually one employee (and they've been working there as long as I've been a customer) but the process is fast and clean and you're in and at within minutes. Water: The cleanest, tastiest water I've ever bought. I have an intensively sensitive palette and can distinguish water by their brand names and none comes close to Wateria's osmosis water. When you enter, it's a quaint little place that can hold about 6 people and their bottles comfortably. The entire wall is a glass pane that protects the amazing water cleansing machine that produces the yummy H20 I love. Bring the bottle of the left most end of the counter for a full inside and out bottle cleaning. Pure water is shot through the nozzle to clean any bacteria inside and the employee hand scrubs and washes the outside of the bottle. Then they place it one of the 6 nozzles that drop a solid stream of water in, then they cap it with heated, sanitized caps and ring you up. Good water. A bit pricey, but seems everything is pricier on this side of town. It's 2 bucks to fill up my 5 gallon bottles. However since it taste good I don't mind. In LBC, I would pay about half. I love wateria! I have always gone to the one in Azusa and this time I came to lake because I was in the area. I'm so dissapointed! When my water was filled I noticed one of the gallons had something in the water so I took it back to the employee and showed her. She then asked me if I wanted her to refill it and I said yes (she never mentioned she would be charging me double for the refill). When it came time to pay I asked her why she charged me again to refill the water that was dirty she said "well I rinsed it so the gallon must have been dirty". Seriously? So I told her "you must have not rinsed it correctly.. she was rude and has poor customer service skills. Just about an hour ago, I had a very bad experience at the Wateria on Lake Ave in Pasadena. This is the second and last time that I will go there. There were 2 men parked next to me in a pick-up truck with about 12-15 empty 5 gallon water bottles that they were unloading. One man walked in with about 5 of them. A woman working there was washing these 5 bottles and filling them with water when I walked in. I stood in line behind this man with the 5 bottles. It was my turn next. Then, the other man that was with the first man walked in behind me with the other bottles. He put them on the floor, in the front, near the place where the woman was washing and filling the other bottles. I waited to see if the woman would do the right thing and help me next, after she helped the man with the 5 bottles. SHE DIDN'T. She took the other 7-10 bottles and started washing and filling them. She should have told the man which she was helping that he could pay for the 5 bottles of water or wait while she helped me, since I was next in line. It was an obvious solution. I didn't say anything as I walked out. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN BECAUSE OF THE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I then drove over to WATERLAND, on the southeast corner of Washington and Hill. The service is great, they speak English fluently, and the alkaline water that I get is $1 a gallon. At Wateria, it's $1.50 a gallon. They are so much friendlier and more helpful at Waterland. The guy there put my 5 gallon bottle in the car for me. I had brought a cart with me, but it was so refreshing to have better than expected customer service rather than worse than expected, as at Wateria. IF I COULD, I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS! read more

I think your one of the lousy competitors that has sprung up in the area and want to make this place sound bad...It isnt! Its a great place. The water is fantastic...Clean and fresh tasting... The staff is nice and do their job well and quick...My father had been buying water there from the day they opened and he would only go there...After he passed away I moved a little away from them but I still go there to get my water...And any other water needs. Good water for a good price..your bottle cleaned well and new sterilized caps if your bottles dont use a screw top. Good quality bottles for sale there as well. They seem sturdier than the ones I have bought else where. We bought our water holder from them and I compared prices. Theirs was the cheapest by far (also for empty bottles of different sizes) and the quality is great..Lots of different colors to chose from in water bottle holders. And they also sell metal and wood stands...I prefer the metal ones... read more
