We got the Kengan PH 9.0 for $2 a gallon. A steady stream of customers but no waiting. Water has no discernible flavor. A bit pricy on the front end. Still so happy to have found these guys! Been coming here for months now and their service is consistently excellent every visit!!! They are always happy, friendly, and you see them smiling even with masks on!! They ALWAYS help me to my car with the heavy bottles and load them for me! A huge help bc they're so heavy! Their store is always spotless. The water is always fresh and excellent! I've never had any issues. Oh and they have punch cards too! Where if you buy so many gallons you'll get a free fill up! Parking is on the street out front and I almost always find a close spot. I think I've only had to wait for a spot maybe once or twice since I started coming here. And their prices are also competitive with the area - $0.30 per gallon for regular water. I believe they also have alkaline but am not sure on the prices. Was a regular customer getting multiple five gallon jugs of kangen water regularly . Noticed on the last batch that it had a noticeable after taste. Went back and had them replaced only to go back home to the same taste. Went back again for a refund and got rudely argued with by two old men who didn't even try the water I was talking about. Then was offered regular water when I paid for Kangen. If I pay for overpriced water, I shouldn't be given such a hard time. Great customer service. The first time I tried this place out, their credit card machine wasn't working and I didn't have cash on me but the owner there just told me to pay when I come back next time. But in my mind, I wasn't sure when will be the next time so while he was filling up my bottles, I just walked over to the nearest ATM and got cash and paid him. Over the years I have stopped in the store only a few times, mostly I would contact Levon directly and have water sent straight to my mother's home in Pasadena. Each time he would check to see that my payment method was accurate, as well as my order or then ensure to me that the delivery was on it's way and/or delivered. That is true customer service. This is a small business and each order is handled with care, concern and accuracy. Great water, but they don't follow Covid guidelines and there is no excuse for that. Every time I come in I have to tell the kid working there to put on his mask. Socal Water was recommended by a coworker. After we tried the water and experienced the excellent customer care we were hooked. We drive quite a way to fill up on water every 2 weeks. We have told others and they are now getting their water from Socal Water. The location is good and we never have to wait. The owner also has a delivery service we might try it. Summer is here and we are glad Socal water is so good. We have bought water from many other places but now we are sticking with Socal because the other water always has a bad taste! Bunch of unmasked men hanging around smoking on the sidewalk in front of the store BUT..... the water is amazing. The inside of the store is very strange. They sell a bunch of random junk from off brand toilet paper to framed paintings of other peoples families. Sometimes there are replica pirate muskets for sale and sometimes cell phone cases. No rhyme or reason to the random junk behind the counter BUT..... the water is amazing. I never pay with a credit card here and have never ordered water for delivery. I bring in change and have them fill the water inside, if it is daytime, or I fill them myself outside at night. I kinda prefer the night option as there are no unmasked men hanging around smoking on the sidewalk and I don't have to go inside the shop where I am fairly certain no real COVID measures are taken. Wow, best little water store in L.A.! Not only were the staff super friendly and helpful (thanks Tigran), but the water is DELICIOUS! So pure, because they have a huge room of filters devoted to purifying the water and removing the fluoride (which is really bad for you, if you research it). This is my first review on yelp. I created an account yesterday. Unfortunely, it has to be a negative one. I came to socal water to fill up alkaline water and pay my phone bill for the 1st time(i didn't know they had phone services here till my last visit). I come here because the alkaline is cheaper than other water stores. This is about my 3rd time here. Ive been to other water stores on washington and this is my favorite because their alkaline is the most affordable. I've been to waterland and wateria and they charge more for alkaline water than socal water. Here's where my experience went wrong. 1st i asked if i could pay my metro pcs bill here. Levon, the owner, said no, metro pcs is for poor people. I was angry at first but then i realized, yeah i use metro pcs to save money. He might have been joking, but still he came off rude. 2nd - i had a noticeable limp due to me twisting my ankle in a jiu jitsu tournament. I asked for help. Levon then said, "sounds like a personal problem bro". Again it seemesld jokingly, but he was dead serious and i linped my bottles to the car. THE ONLY REASON I GAVE HIM 2 STARS IS BECAUSE HIS WATER IS THR CHEAPEST ON WASHINTON. HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE id rather pay an extra 50 cents and go to waterland dowm the street, they always help you to the car without having to ask. Hope this helps. I called several place in the Pasadena and South Pasadena area, and the owner was by far the most helpful and the only one would actually cared. I go to Socal Water about once a week and they have great prices and really great service. I've referred my friends to this place and now they go here also. His hours are good, and locally in Pasadena, so it's a no brainier for me. They also offer other services like cell phones, calling cards and other useful things we all need.
