We didn't want to begin the remodel without first addressing the hard water issue, so we started calling companies to get bids for a water softener system. What immediately set Chris apart was how patient and thorough he was. He spent over an hour answering our questions and never made us feel rushed. My brother is very research-oriented and had a lot of detailed questions, and since Chris was our third bid, we had accumulated even more questions along the way. Chris took the time to explain everything clearly and in depth. It was obvious that Chris truly knows his craft. He educated us on many aspects of water treatment. Also, he's a licensed plumber, and we wanted to make sure we went with a company that's either licensed for plumbing or water treatment--preferably plumbing. We ultimately chose a larger one-tank softener system along with a reverse osmosis system for our kitchen, including a dedicated RO line to our refrigerator. He came promptly for an in person presentation to test the city water in my home and explain all the options. I was very impressed by him not trying to "sell" but rather ask questions to learn what specifically I was looking for the use of my home water. Once I decided on going with PureLux H20, he was able to send his technicians out to my home within 4 days to install the unit. Workmanship experience: Hardy and Hugo were the technicians, and they were extremely informative and diligent. They showed up punctual to the time they gave me in advance. I appreciated that they were very conscientious to ask all the questions in advance of where I would like the unit installed, briefing me on ease of access location as well as possible noise that might be a disturbance if too close to an indoor room. The installation was done within the time frame they gave me, and they left the work area clean after they left. Follow up: They came out again to my home after the unit was installed for follow questions and calibrations. All throughout the service, I was very pleased by the genuine concern for providing the best customer service from Josh, Hardy and Hugo. Water quality difference: The water in my house now is noticeable softer (no mineral residual left on glass) and the drinking water from the reverse osmosis now tastes much better, without the chlorine taste from the city water. Hardy connected the reverse osmosis unit to the refrigerator (for ice maker, and water dispenser) in addition to the tap spigot.
