I had such an amazing experience at Aqua Hub in Pasadena! From the moment I walked in, everyone was so kind and welcoming. The owner, Faruk, is not only professional but also very kind and understanding. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and makes sure everything is done with excellence. I arrived around 7:20 PM, and the worker who helped me, Bato, went above and beyond. He was patient, friendly, and took the time to answer all of my questions without rushing me. His kindness really stood out and made the whole experience even better. The setup here is incredible they have top-notch reverse osmosis, Kangen water, and an overall amazing filtration system. Everything is clean, organized, and very well put together. This place offers both great service and high-quality water, which is hard to find. I definitely recommend Aqua Hub to anyone looking for excellent customer service, a caring owner, and the best water in town! I highly recommend this place for your water. Waterland of Pasadena... or Brio... or Aquahub... or soon, Who's Taking Over Next?.At this rate, the next name might as well be Liquid Mistake. Customer service deserves 5 stars but the new prices deserve -4. Thus the 1 star review. Look, we all understand that new ownership often means changes. Prices go up, supplies cost more, inflation happens... yadda yadda... we get it but here's the problem your price increases make no business sense. Let's break this down: Reverse osmosis (RO) water jumped from $0.25 a gallon to $0.75 (a 200% increase). Alkaline water went from $2.00 to $2.50 (a 25% increase). If you're going to raise prices, Business 101 says you apply proportional increases across your product lines or at least explain why one product justifies a massive hike. When your basic water (the high volume driver that brings people in weekly) triples in price, while your premium product only goes up 25%, you confuse customers and erode trust. Don't think adding an extra sale day helps. The old Thursday sale is now Thursday and Friday, but guess what? The "sale" prices are still higher than the original prices. That's not a deal... that's window dressing on a price hike and loyal customers notice these things. After nearly eight years of coming here this made me realize how much we've spent on RO water. As good as it tastes Costco sells an under sink RO system that I should've invested in a long time ago. Until I take that leap we're officially looking into other water options in the area. Let me add a little business fact. Acquiring a new customer costs 5 to 7 times more than retaining an existing one. Once you lose the loyal base that's kept you alive, it's incredibly hard to win them back. So here's my prediction if these prices stay this business will either change owners again or close before year end. Greed isn't a growth strategy and in a niche like refillable water, once you lose your OG customers, you don't get a second chance. Good luck. You guys are so going to need it. read more

Been here plenty of times before, no issues. It's a water store. It was late tonight after they closed and I remembered they had a kiosk that's open all the time. We usually will hit up a primo cuz we're in and out of pasadena a lot & traveling. but decided to "support local" . Tell me why I paid $0.75 a gallon CASH ONLY . 50% mark up from any water store / kiosk. I could have went down the street to primo and saved $ and paid with my card. Can't support a business that taxes 50% more for the exact same product I can get down the street. It might seem petty but we were ripped off. It's just RO filtered water. Sad they raised the prices again. I feel since the new owners took over they raise the prices every 6 months. We moved to Pasadena in 2020 and shopped around for the best water, and this location does have the best tasting water. Unfortunately raising the prices for their customers in the community hurts us. After doing business with them for 5 years we are now going to have to get our water somewhere else. It is $12.50 to fill up an alkaline 5 gallon jugs on the days with the discount! New owner new name AquaHub. NOT the amazing store it used to be. The owner is actually a nice man, but he has hired a lazy and rude employee. No smile, no customer service whatsoever. The spritzer that they rinse before filling, which ALL water stores have, has been broken for 6 weeks... don't think it's broken, I'm thinking it's more cost effective. It's a water store.. get it fixed asap. Daniel used to help with the bottles to the car and so did the other guy after him.. so nice. Always helpful. Stay away from this place now. The water doesn't even taste as clean. Cheap filters. Cheap labor. It's ruined. JA water down the street is better!! read more

I went inside today and met with clerk Sia. The kangen water machine isn't working properly. They are lying to customers. Sia informed me that the kangen water machine needs a filter. He gave me water from the machine as it clearly specified that it was in the cleaning process. I left the store and googled what i saw on the machine. I drove back and showed him that you aren't supposed to drink the water while it's in the process of cleaning. That's when he told me that it's not working and that it needed a filter. But he allowed me to get this water and leave thinking I was a happy customer. SMH I won't be back! read more

What happened to this place?!?! I've been coming to this water shop for about 2-3 years. They have the best tasting alkaline water in the city. However, as of late this place has really been a disappointment. It started with the store closing at random hours of the day, to the entire staff being replaced with incompetent personnel. I'm addition, each time I go to get water there is no more. I have lost confidence in this establishment. The owners should consider a Continuous Improvement event. read more

I've been buying Alkaline water here for 6-7 years now, seen many faces come and go, never had any issues until more recently, I drive all the way from Alhambra to Waterland in PASADENA, I'm very busy and don't have time to drive all the way there for nothing. So I've had this happen three times now, after I get off of work the kid that works there tells me that the water is sold out while sitting with his flip flops on the counter and tells me to come by tomorrow, so I came by again after work the next night and he's there again and tells me the same thing, he doesn't apologize or anything, I believe he parks his car in front too, when there is only two parking spots. I don't understand how you sell out of water and you're on the clock with nothing do. Anyways I went on another in the morning on my day off and had a great experience with Daniel, very helpful and great personality. If it wasn't for that other kid o would have given a five star. Hire more employees like Daniel please, that actually care about great customer service. read more

You can taste the difference with Their water. They have quite a few options and the staff are really helpful. They will fill any size water jugs /cups up and charge accordingly. Pretty good prices. Thursdays their alkaline water is $1 per gallon. They also have stamp cards where you can rack up 6 stamps and get a gallon of water for free ! They sell glass water jugs here, something I've been on the hunt for. Only real downfall, SoMe times they are out for lunch at random times so we have waited before. read more

The absolute worst non existent customer service and retention 5/18 at 6 PM! The unprofessional culprit is a male with sandy brown shoulder length curly hair. He loves swishing his hair into a bun as he fills and touches your water bottles. He said all bottle caps (which is not documented anywhere) cost an additional $1.97 each. Basically, pay for the cap or take your five gallon water bottles with no cap and enjoy the water splash. I said, ok empty the bottles and return to me. His argumentative imbecile remark was "touché" He intentionally blocked all parking, left the passenger door wide open obstructing the passing area for cars and talked to exiting customer to negate people from parking to get water. When a lady asked him if the white van was his he said "yes, I am not moving it and we own the lot and I work here". She said I just need you to close your door he told her "NO". Loved everything about them, but they literally doubled the water price on my delivery. I was paying $5 for Alkaline water and they raised it to 11.99 as shown below. I understand minimum wage went up and business expenses went up, but 139.8%!!. I liked this place better when it was a family owned place where the price was reasonable. I still like their service, but I am not willing to pay the exorbitant prices. I have been a customer for 3 years, common do not shock us like that. I understand 50 cents or even a dollar more which would be 10% or a 20% increase, but not a 139.8% increase. First time I went there to fill up it was quick and prob the best price for really good tasting water as well. However the second time I went on a Saturday around 11am sign said open but the door was completely locked. Lights were on inside. Figured lunch break but I waited for about 15-20 min and no one ever opened the door. Pretty sure someone was inside cause I could hear movement but no one bothered to answer the phone either. It's very unfortunate that this store seems to have irregular hours that aren't posted and no one can get any answers. Because of that, I have to give this a 1 star review. I hope things change for the better but from what I have read from other reviews it has been going downhill. read more

I've been coming here for years like many other people. Everyone WAS nice and friendly. It's totally changed! When I asked if it's under new ownership they insisted it's not, but all the nice and helpful workers who use to work here are gone. Now there are very rude miserably unhelpful individuals, with snide remarks. That alone makes me not want to come back but the water also taste awful now! It has a metallic taste like tap. I need to find another place. The other strange thing is that it's cheaper now. This company has been going downhill for so long. I'm so disappointed. Multiple missed deliveries. Lack of communication when the company was bought out. Lack of communication when they're not going to deliver. I had to follow up with them to make sure they were coming today, which they're not, because my payment didn't go through. They have my email. They have my phone number... CALL ME over and over like they did before about not getting my payment. Instead, they wait for me to follow up because they hadn't delivered. Beyond disappointed. I've been loyal to this company for so long! This is NEW management and they still can't get their act together. Last deliver I did receive had holes in the bottom of the jug which leaked all the water out. So here I am, waterless for weeks because of their inability to successfully manage a business. I know I'm not the only one because the manager said I was "on the bottom of a long list of people he needed to contact" because we all fell through the cracks. Been coming here for a year or so, but will not be coming back. At my last visit my change was shorted $2, and rather than make a deal of it (I mean, $2, not really worth arguing over, right) I let the store worker keep my money. This time, a different worker ignored the African American in line in order to serve the older white man behind him. When I pointed out the workers error ( I hope in a respectful and non confrontational way) I was told "I'm not speaking to you, Ma'am" and had my change taken again!
