A new employee working there now. It seems like she doesn't want to lift a finger! She let the customers do all the refill then when the customer return the cart to the normal location, she yelled at them to bring it inside ! Furthermore, she does not accept coins. Rude! this older woman working there absolutely has no boundary when it comes to treating other people. I happen to see an Asian elderly customer getting cursed at by her because the elderly person pushed the water cart to the door before paying. I understand it might be concerning and perhaps the 70+ year old customer happened to be forgetful but there was no need to drop an F bomb on customers . It's not like this senior customer going to run off with 2 jugs of water at the speed of light. Also, this is not the first time I see her like this. This woman hates money, always closing her doors 15-20 minutes before posted time and gets mad at customers for coming in before 7 pm like what the *%$&?! if you want really good service only go there when the daughter is there, She's tall and extremely sweet. When the older woman is there, she can be very mean, RUDE, and dismissive. They close at 7 PM, but she won't let anyone in after 6:50 PM and will get very angry at you and even yell at you if you try to go in. The door can be wide open and she will tell you to leave because she's closed. This is happened to me twice and both times it was 6:50 PM. When you are running a business and you have regular customers that support your business, you need to remember who is keeping your lights on and feeding your family. If enough people decide to go to the next closest place....YOUR DOORS WILL CLOSE PERMANENTLY Again, the daughter is an absolute joy. She's kind, courteous, respectful, and has incredible customer service. But the older woman is mean enough to make you want to drive 10 extra miles to get water. read more

HUSTLED ME AND TOOK MY MONEY I've been going to this water dispenser for 4 years now, and ever since the original worker is no longer here, I've encountered nothing but poor service. I continue coming here because it's close and convenient to home, but my breakpoint was today. Alkaline water has always been $1/gallon, and a cap is 25 cents (or free when the old guy was there). I've always paid $10.25 for the two 5 gallon water jugs I have, but today the worker made me pay $15. He looked at my $10 and was like "no it's $15" and I told him the sign said $1/gallon but he insisted me to give him $15, so my boyfriend generously gave him an extra $5. I went back home and asked my family if they've been paying $15 for water, but they all said they only pay $10. I thought it was wrong for the man to overcharge me, and maybe because I'm a female so he thought I was stupid. If anyone has any other water places w/ alklaline in sgv please reply. Don't go to this water store period. Rude short lady that works, every time I go here my heart definitely hurts when I see her working, she is not welcoming & has an RBF everytime you look at her. I think she is also racist and hates Asians. She does not greet customers, would just say how much you owe for the waters. On other hand, there is this sweet young lady that is a bit taller she is more welcoming super sweet and would ask about your day. **Sorry, I don't know your name I wish I can have you credit!** On the other hand, I believe these 2 new women are recent new hires before it was these 2 gentlemen. I've been going to this place for a few months. The water taste good and the prices are decent for alkaline. However, I visited this afternoon and the behavior of this customer was absurd. I cannot get it out of my mind. Someone was getting their water and this woman proceeded to push the gallons of water out of the way while the woman working was helping another customer. The woman working their calmly told her to wait and the lady lost her sh*t. Her and her husband started screaming and cussing at the woman working then pushed the cart to the window. I didn't get the whole story but this was so uncalled for. The older woman working who handled it was extremely embarrassed and flustered as all the customers watched this happened. The most disgusting behavior inhumane I've ever whiteness. At one point i saw the customer smack her own a**? I really hope whoever is in charge her never allows these kinds of actions again especially when someone is just trying to do their job. This was my go to water spot, until I noticed the water starting to taste a little off, as well as more algae in my fish tank. Measured the water for ppms and got a15 PPM reading as of September 2021. Which basically means its time to change the filters or replace the reverse osmosis membrane.. 15 ppm is a little dirty. Going to another spot for the next few months, hopefully this gets resolved. read more

This place is run by people that have no knowledge of their filtration systems and are incredibly unfriendly. The "fortified" water they serve is probably not reverse osmosis and the "alkali" water that may or may not be RO is priced 3x higher than anywhere else I've gone. The truth is the owners don't even know.... If you run a water store you should be able to back up what you are serving. I would avoid this place at all costs and seek out one of the several other water alternatives in the area. They don't deserve your business read more

Came back hoping to see the young, tall woman with glasses and curly hair but unfortunately it's that rude short older woman who really did it for us. We will never come back here again because her attitude stinks and is not suited for working customer service. My boyfriend and I came in, saw nobody coming out to help us so we proceeded to fill the water first. She freaks out and yells at us about touching the tap. So how are we supposed to get water? We're just going to stand there and wait for you to come out in a million light years? Again, we've been loyal customers for years before the owner died and the owner was always so nice. He truly did not deserve to have his business ruined by bad employees or sh1tty people running this place. Yes, we acknowledge that we said some not so nice things to her but it was out of anger because this woman was truly the worst. Look back at the most recent 5 or 6 reviews and all of them are 1 star specifically mentioning her terrible attitude and the way she treats people. Again, it's only this woman who treated everyone with disrespect, the tall, younger woman with curly hair and glasses was THE BEST!! This is a family business.... They are friendly enough and will always power-rinse your water bottle before filling it. They always ask if I want the alkaline water... and my answer is always, no. I just don't think it's worth it when you can get a gallon of regular filtered water for $0.25. I did try once.... but was there a difference?? I surely couldn't tell. read more

So I really really don't like giving one star reviews. As I feel like people just get offended and then they put a one star for no reason. But this happened to us. We are shopping for our new water store in this area as our water store has closed down. But when we went into the store, I asked if it was reverse osmosis and the guy there said he didn't know. Also we attempted to look in the back to see the size of the machines but he stopped us saying that we cannot look at the machines. Now we were not going into the back. All I did was attempt to look at the machines in back to see if they said reverse osmosis since the guy didn't know. A very nice older gentleman runs the shop every time I come in. Honestly I don't know why everyone says he is rude. He is very quiet and from what I've seen it's a lot of the clientele that comes in at the same time that I do are the ones that are rude. He always cleans out the water just with the jet spray thing and fills up your jug for you. Very quick in and out and I've even seen him load up the cart for people that have multiple jugs. Family-owned and easy to find parking! They will clean the inside of your jug for you with the water blaster thing. Alkaline Water ($1/gallon) (10/10) I just started getting the Alkaline water, which has minerals and all the good stuff, on top of being some good clean water. Easy to get in and out. Buyer beware don't go here!!! WATER IS NOT ALKALINE and a waste of money! They advertise alkaline water but I tested the pH and it's as acidic as dasani water! I usually go to Juice Me in upland where I fill my alkaline water regularly once a week but post surgery, I couldn't get out there and thought I would try Agua Water. Agua Water's "alkaline water" machine looks like it hadn't been serviced in a long time or not working. The customer service was bad as well. So where I usually go for alkaline water, Juice Me in Upland they give you free pH testing. Agua Water's alkaline water didn't even taste any different from standard water so I was curious and took my remaining water into Juice Me where they pH tested it and it was the same color/acidity as dasani water. Agua Water is ripping people off by trying to pass off standard purified water as alkaline. The next time I go to my doctor's appt in Pasadena I'm going to return and ask for my money back, but I doubt they will provide a refund... Also, their address is correct but on the map they have posted on this Yelp profile takes you to a different address on Temple City blvd. When I informed the person I paid for the water he didn't seem to care and seemed annoyed. I told him that people like me could be going to the wrong address and to update their yelp profile. I don't even think he knew what Yelp was and looked at me like I was speaking Hebrew. I will return back to ask for a refund and after that never return again! read more
