So far in my experience these people have bad attitude and bad customer service. I tried contacting the owner via email and never got a response (what a surprise!). Then I called in the store and talked to an employee who said Eddie, the owner, was not around and she didn't know when he'd be in. She said she could take my number and have him call me back. Great. I gave her my number and asked her to repeat it back. She got it completely wrong beginning with area code. When I said that, she then handed me off to another girl. Just like that, without saying a word. No explanation or apology. Just giggling. When this second person asked what I needed I said no I would rather speak to the owner. Again I was given the runaround about him not ever being around. She said she would pass my message along. At this point I was tired of these immature games by these two girls and declined to give my number. I said I didn't trust they would pass this along. Then she said fine, have a good day! It was pretty clear she enjoyed not being helpful and being rude. Congratulations Eddie! You have two immature employees who run your business like a game while you're apparently never there. Maybe answer your business email and make it easier for customers to contact you, so people can speak directly instead via yelp. read more

Don't buy e-juice from here. I bought REDS apple 30 mg salt nic grape flavored and it expires 3/21. E-juice can last for a bit and usually the expiration is about 6 months out from date of purchase. Guess I will be throwing this away at the ending of March. read more

The selection of products looked alright but the girl at the front needs extra training on how to communicate with customers. I don't carry my ID everywhere I go so I have a picture of both sides so I can scan it when I need to, I asked if I could use the pic and she said yes and looked at it then told me no, I have a problem with her because she could've said no to start with but instead she discriminated against me cause I'm a little person like my age and height are both on my ID so it doesn't make her look good when that's the reason she rejected my service when she didnt even try to ID my friend who got the blunts for me after she refused me because I'm short. read more

Hostile bullying of customers & Sketchy vibes at this place: No returns No guarantees Unreliable service/products. They slap Hidden charges on debit/credit card payments. Refuse to provide receipts, despite calling the store and the owner for a receipt. Upon asking the gentleman what is name was he stated "you do not need to know my name". (We investigated and found out his name is "Eddie" he wore a blue shirt and black Adidas baseball cap.) Went in today on 3/16/17 at 1:20 PM and the woman "Sara" inside couldn't have been more indifferent to the customers. I had called about a specific item before visiting the store and spoke to the same woman on the phone. I called to make sure I didn't waste a trip to the store She at first stated that the item was available in the store. Then, once I arrived and asked about the item, she stated that she did not know anything about the products in the store and that they did not have the item. She stated she didn't know anything about the store and her attitude seemed that she really didn't *want* to know anything either. She almost seemed annoyed that I was even there wanting to buy anything. It was only after questioning her again several times about the item did she finally bother to go behind the counter and pulled out a box of the exact item she had spent the past 20 minutes convincing me she didn't have. Seriously, this woman seemed unhappy to be working there and couldn't care less about the store, the customers or her job. Didn't even thank me after I purchased. Next time I'll go to another shop with a bit more professional customer service. Figured I'd share my experience with Yelp community. Update on the same day 3/16/17 at 2:10 PM I came back to the store asking for a receipt. This time the woman did not come out from the back, but there were three older gentlemen working in the store. The male in the blue shirt begins to berate me for asking for my receipt. He relentlessly demands to know why I want a receipt over and over and over again. He tells me that even though I just purchased the item, I have no right to a receipt. I hear the woman from earlier in the back say "Oh god not again!", while the other two older gentlemen join in berating me for coming back for my receipt. One of them threatens me, while the other tries ridicule me with disparaging remarks. The other gentleman working there states "Why do you need a receipt? What do you have a hair up your butt?" I ask the gentlemen what their names are and they refuse with one saying "Oh my god , what do you really have a hair up your butt?" At first they want to write on a sheet of notebook paper "receipt" and staple the store business card on it. After asking if their receipts don't have the store information like any professional business would, the men start in on me again, telling me that I don't need the receipt again. "Eddie" and the rest of gentleman gang up on me verbally and "Eddie" in the blue shirt steps into my face in a threatening manner, in an attempt to intimidate me, while raising his voice in hopes that I would just leave. One of the gentlemen working there says quote "It's just a receipt! Get over it" and "Why don't we call 911 and get rid of you" (Please do and perhaps the IRS needs to be called as well....) So evidently, this store owner/manager et.Al. don't like giving receipts and have a hostile, threatening manner when you do kindly ask for your receipt. After stating that I have a legal right in California to receive a receipt for my purchase, they finally give me a REAL RECEIPT, after 30 minutes of belittling, berating and devaluing their own customer. This was a 3 star review, but after the verbal abuse I experienced at the hands of the store owner/workers this review has gone to 1 star. read more

Cigar lovers, get your tissues! This place is ridiculous! There's a few chairs for relaxing in, nothing like that they have over at Cenzia, but keep reading. Their humidor, while the smallest walk in I've seen in Pasadena, is packed with damn near everything I could think of. Everything from cheap dollar hand rolleds, to the really good quick smokes I love but can never find (try Romeo y Julieta: Julietas), and even Opus X singles! Unlike Cigars by Chivas many of their cigars have a nice layer of plume - word to the wise, plume looks like powder, very fine, and there's generally very very little. Mold has structure and happens in dots or splotches. EDIT: Removed a star in favor of Mission Liquor and Tobacco which has better prices and a larger selection of everything. read more

This is my second time at this little shop. It's lit the by size but not by selections. Prices are good, you can expect to pay about 10-15% less than other shops. Very good conditions for storing cigs. As far as smoking place.. It's tiny... Right in front of counter. When you walk in its looks kind of not desirable ... However small space compensates with nice conversations and homy kind of atmosphere . Sales girl is pretty good in cigars, got second time advice and both times right on spot! So me and my husband needed to buy some hookah charcoal and we decided to go to this shop because it's the closest to our house smoke shop. The salesman asked my husband for id. He gave him the US permanent resident card. And guess what? Salesman said IT IS NOT VALID. Okay, US Green card is valid EVERYWHERE, in every single grocery store, in every liquor store, but it's not valid in this very smoke shop. And the most interesting part. A couple of weeks ago we bought the same stuff at the same place and THE SAME salesperson for some reason didn't have any problems with the id. He told us to bring either CA id or passport. Isn't it a law violation? So if you read this, better read the CA law that says that you have to accept any form of government id as every other business do. I will never spend a single cent here. Holy Cigar Smoke! The different aroma's were enough to make me wonder what does he have inside that moderate size walk in humidor. This place is for the every day "Joe" that enjoys a a cigar almost daily or that sophisticated intelligent Law Professor that never forgot where he came from but can afford the adequately priced Opus X. Yes ladies and gentemen this place has it all from the $2.00 cigar to $30.00 + variety that we have all come to know and love. I can name all the brands they carry but would be too much to put down. You will have to come and see for yourself. There is also plenty of other tobacco products for a cheaper price than many stores around (I have even seen a gas station attendant come in there and stock up on cigarettes for their store). Along with that there are your choice of pipe tobacco, hookah and supplies and cabinets full of lighters, flasks, pipes, cigar cutters, etc. Oh by the way, if you see Any cigar with what seems like mold, its NOT! its called plume. that is a fine sign of an aged cigar. I used to come here when I smoked, and I bought a vapor to try the new liquid type. I tried to return the stupid thing because they don't work - I guess they have a no refund, no return policy.. He was not rude, he just took my name and number and said someone would call me. Kind of like the US Government. Won't ever ever call back.
