I would classify myself as a relatively "difficult to please" customer. I am an attorney, so of course I think that the world revolves around me. ( It actually does... doesn't it?) Anyway, when I used these people I was really surprised--almost shocked--by the high level of care that they took in providing service to me and my wife. I was more or less courteous with them, with a rather complicated request, and they treated me like a king. Importantly, I got the definite impression that even if I had been discourteous (which I am at times) they would have still treated me like a king. I used this service to drive my sister from my house to my wedding. They had excellent customer service even before to ride, dealing very kindly with a nervous bride, and confirming the time and pick up and drop off locations with me. When they came to pick me up they were right on time, and the driver very kindly escorted me door to door on both sides with an umbrella. I was tasked with booking travel for a business trip, and United Private Car made my job so much easier. The person who took my booking called me in order to add that personal touch, and walked me through the whole process. She was never pushy, either, which made a huge difference. I really appreciated that they didn't charge me a 2-hour minimum for a point-to-point booking (which other companies had done). They were at the location early/on-time, they kept me and the passengers up-to-date with text messages, and they treated our staff/guests well. They may not be the cheapest service out there, but sometimes you get what you pay for. (I've definitely paid more, for less quality.) My son was stranded at the Providence, RI airport late at night and was only able to get rebooked out of Boston the next morning. We needed a car to take him to Logan. We were booking the car in advance and there are very few transport options out of Providence. I am super delighted with United Private Car! I work as an Executive Assistant at a busy corporate biotech in Waltham, and we have traditionally used a small local company for transportation. Getting an invoice is tough and it's not technologically up to speed. With United it is a breath of fresh air - I get a notification when the chauffeur is assigned, when they are on the way, once they have arrived, once the passenger is in the car, and once the trip is complete. It is so nice to not have to ask my executive, did you get in the car okay? You can customize these notifications as needed. The other night I called at about 8pm eastern time and I needed a car in Berlin in a few hours. They were able to make it happen!! After flight delays and a flight destination change out of Ohare to originally Providence being changed to Boston and my car being at TF Green, we needed a ride home after a rather stressful day of travel and uncertainty. Within 5 minutes of reaching out to United I had a reservation, clear direction and peace of mind so that I could shuffle the family from one airline to another and catch our flight to Boston. The follow up and updates while they tracked the status of continued delays of the flight were reassuring and once arrived at Logan it was easy to find them and very accommodating to an exhausted family. I was very nervous going to Boston to tour colleges with my daughter. I had never been to Boston before. I called United Private Car to arrange for a ride to and from Logan Airport. I can't tell you how PLEASED I was to have them waiting for us upon our arrival at the airport! The were on time and had us to our hotel on Commonwealth Ave in 15-20 minutes!! Very nice driver. On our way back to the airport a few days later, we needed a 3:45am ride back to catch our flight back. Again, United Private Car was on time and very, very helpful!!!
