Long version: My cousin booked a service about a month before the celebration. When she reached out the week of the event to confirm everything as instructed by the owner to do so, she was then told that the vehicle was out for repair and no guarantees it would be fixed on time. With only days to spare it could be difficult to find another service. The owner offered a different vehicle that was about double the price of the one my cousin had originally reserved instead of honoring the original quoted price. The morning of the event my cousin texted the owner for an update to see if the vehicle was repaired and received no response. We waited a few hours before I made a reservation with a different limo company that I had found the day before as a backup, and they turned out to be fantastic. My cousin updated the owner of Above The Rest Transportation that we found someone that could accomodate us and we received the response shown in the photo. Instead of offering a few hours of free service, the price should have been honored with the alternate vehicle that was still available on the day of the event. The owner responded to my cousins thorough review by claiming that her service was cancelled due to the credit card being declined.

At the end of the night we all ended up sitting on the ground in front of a pizza place for a substantial amount of time waiting for the driver to show up. Finally, the main officer customer service was equally as rude. When I called to complain about our experience the guy on the phone basically told me why I was wrong on every point. They said they would get back to me after they "investigated" my allegations. No surprise, I haven't heard a word. I have been on a number of "nights on the town" with other limo services, and the experiences were far more positive. The limo side of the night was so bad that is has been a joke ever since. This is my first post, but I felt burned enough by this experience to sign on and speak up. I would not recommend this service to anyone. We definitely didn't get what we paid for.

There were no pickup instructions, driver information, or contact information included. By the time I arrived at the airport, I still had not received any communication from the company, so I had to Google IBoston Limo myself just to find a phone number. I called twice and spent about 20 minutes wandering around the airport trying to figure out where I was supposed to meet my driver. When I finally reached someone, instead of helping resolve the situation, he immediately became argumentative and yelled at me, insisting that he had texted me. I explained that I had not received any text and had been checking my phone constantly, including while I was on the plane. He continued to argue with me, hung up, and then sent me a screenshot showing that he had supposedly texted me. Whether there was a technical issue with the text or something else went wrong, arguing with a customer who is stranded at an airport and cannot find their driver is an incredibly unprofessional way to handle the situation. A simple apology and clear instructions on where to meet the driver would have resolved the issue immediately. Instead, the interaction made an already stressful situation significantly worse. Once I finally found my driver, he was lovely, courteous, and professional. Unfortunately, everything leading up to that point, from the lack of pickup information and communication to the way I was treated when I called for help, was unacceptable.
