It was quiet on a Friday morning at 7:15 am. Less than 10 people inside. Basic bacon, eggs, and toast were available as the breakfast selection. No complaints except for one observation. The men's restroom only has one stall and one urinal. That doesn't seem enough for the capacity of this lounge. read more

Nice sized lounge for an out station that had a good amount of mixed seating options and rooms. Food offering was on the smaller side but at least they had some hot options. Bar was well stocked and had some local beers. Staff was all friendly. read more

Amazing service and the good snacks are back! No more prepacked stuff, we're back to a full salad and taco bar with soup and cookies. Great bartender and attentive staff. I will say this place is looking a little dated as the years go on and it's definitely dark feeling by the bar and lounge without windows and such. And a pro tip, if you're not a United lounge member, check ebay for one-day passes. Many credit cards offer a one-day pass and if people aren't going to use them, you can get them online with instant delivery for ~$20, which beats the $55 day pass rate. read more

Had a very long day at the Austin airport with a missed flight due to the absurdly long TSA security check. I understand lots of people are flying now, but the TSA certainly is having staffing issues. Anyway, I discovered the United Club lounge at the AUS airport and I took advantage of one of my United club passes. It was a comfortable setting without too much distraction and I just sat in a comfortable chair and worked for many hours. Yup that's about right the rating for this place. Highly anticipated getting into this lounge. Had some minutes to spare before I boarded.. we had 4 passes to get in but 2 wasn't working and even though they were nice about it they did not budge even after we showed them the 4 passes. We had to call our bank and credit card which took forever and they wouldn't budge either. Glitch in the system How frustrating. Another guy saw us struggling with this and even offered to get us in but he was denied lol So 2 of us went in and I wish I sent the other 2 because what they served wasn't all that. Idk what I expected but better food? More quality? Not sure but I tried a bit of each and was left hungry. Ok it's more a snack. But this was our lunch before we boarded. Everything was just a bit cold. Cookies were good though and so was the gummy bears lol it was quite awkward in there. Not restful as a lounge should be. There was a bar and another family with kids. Just all around odd. Everyone was cordial but just felt cold that's all. There is a drink station. I made some strong tea to get me through the day. And then I had to rush to my flight being a tad late in getting seated and boarded on the most turbulent flight ever. Idk if I would love to fly United again. It wasn't the best experience. Space can use a bit of a refresh in terms of decor and the bathrooms, that looked like something you'd find at a bus station and not in a lounge. The service and staff is 5 star though- everyone is sweet and when I asked for a ginger ale at 5AM, I was quickly served one. I wish there were a few more TVS in the bar area and the food choices for breakfast were ok- more protein would be great and the breakfast sandwiches were not kept as hot as I think they should be. read more

If I rank service at all United Clubs in the U.S., this particular location gets a top ranking. It's not that big here but since Austin is not a hub of the United, I think what they have is adequate and I always find a chair to sit. They upgraded their wifi system sometimes in 2015, since then Wi-Fi is fast enough to get work done before my flight. Staff here is very attentive and friendly. One time they approached me about delayed flight and asked me if I were interested in taking a different flight. I thought I would just deal with the missing connection situation later but their proactive approach helped me get to the destination earlier than I originally anticipated. Gates from the lounge is a short waking distance. I normally leave 5 minutes before estimated boarding time and it seems like I get to the gate just about when they are ready for pre-board. Food and drinks are standard United Club. Nothing fancy but good enough for a quick snack. read more

Small, but modern lounge probably adequate given the size of the airport. We stopped by for breakfast and to relax before our flight. Breakfast was limited, mostly a carb fest. Steel cut oats (not warm enough for me) with toppings, granola, Greek yogurt, fruit, bread or bagel to toast. Love their cappuccino machine which seems to be standard for their clubs. This is another failed attempt at premium service by United. The lounge is smaller than other lounges given AUS is a less busier airport. However they need an overhaul as the place was just slammed on a Friday afternoon. Food offerings are similar to other locations so sub par. The bar area was completely slammed so didn't get to explore it. The washrooms were filthy owing to the number of people maybe they ought to expand. I had to ask them to fix the espresso machine to get my caffeine fix as it wasn't working. Hmm if you have to pay to use this lounge just avoid as one is better of spending the $ at the airport establishments. read more

Not sure when this United Club opened - but the last time I was at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport a couple of years ago - I don't believe this Club existed. I was thrilled to find a United Club at Austin-Bergstrom! I had a couple of hours before my flight back to IAD - and needed to get some work done. There was plenty of seating available - spread across several different areas - and there were not a lot of travelers in the Club while I was there - so it was nice and quiet while I worked. LOVED the staff here at the AUS United Club! Walking in the door, you immediately feel more relaxed. The two staff members greeted us right away and asked us if we've been here before, to Austin, the answer was no! -The club overlooks the security line out front. The United Club is smaller than most I've been to but it has everything you need. -There is a business center room, two more quieter rooms with plug in availability and side tables. The bar offers many little tables as well as the belly up to the bar seating. -The food was fine; an array of cheese, bread/bagels/rolls, vegetables, Italian Wedding Soup and cookies and brownie bites. The Bartender was awesome - she was flying around taking care of everyone and also cleaning up. The food was stocked regularly and I never felt I was missing something. Very relaxing day at AUS waiting to go home to DEN. read more

Avoid using this lounge if you can! If you are looking for a place to rest between your flights, this is not the place for you. The staff is rude, loud and chatty, food is basic and sleeping is "apparently" not allowed and the staff will startle and wake you up in case you are too exhausted and doze off. I have been to several United lounges across the globe and this is the worst experience ever. It's not worth buying an entry to this lounge or even using the United club membership pass to get in. Very limited food selection- a lot of eggs and pastries, no other protein. Bar is available with some draft beers and cocktails. Coffee, tea - not the state of the art but does the job. It is not as big as I expected, I wonder how they deal with overcrowded situations. Small restroom but was clean, not the space to refresh if you are traveling from far far away. Small club but quiet and clean. Nice staff. Came here to kill a few hours between flights. The lady at the front desk was super nice. The have a bar and some seating towards the back. A business center with printers and cubicles. A small room with chairs and a larger room with rows of individual seats. The chairs were okay. Your standard kind in most of the clubs. The serve the usual selection of breakfast but there is no hot food. They have oatmeal, pasteries, fruit, and yogurt. Then towards lunch time it rolls over into cheeses and veggies. Only down was the bathrooms. I'm sure my high school gym locker rooms were nicer. They were old and dimly lit and didn't have very many amenities. read more

Giving it five stars because while it's not the best United lounge of all time, it's the only one in Austin, and it offers everything a United lounge should. I've always had great, non-intrusive service here, with the bartenders offering a respectful amount of Texas charm and hospitality when socialization seems invited. The food is hot and plentiful, the drinks keep flowing, the WiFi is strong and adequate. Can't complain! This has got to be my WORST experience in a lounge. From the moment you come in the way they greet you is terrible. I wish I knew that lady's name so I could blast her out here. What really blew it off was that the lady came up to us saying that this is a business lounge and we're not allowed to sleep. This is straight out ridiculous. Dreadful windowless, stuffy, and claustrophobic United Club. While there are two windows in the entrance hall of the club, there are no windows whatsoever in the main longe area. This, combined with horrendous lighting and tight seating make for a very unpleasant space. The food offerings are as basic as it gets...cheese cubes, salami slices, and pimento cheese spread...no thank you. We had to leave after five minutes...it was that uncomfortable. On a related note, the American club next door has lots of windows and slightly better food offerings. The Delta club at AUS is brand new and it's supposed to be amazing. read more

The front desk staff are superlative here. However, it is a small lounge and the rest of the staff in the rest of the club stand around and talk all the time. LOUDLY. I give a 4 star for its comfort, but 1 star for their food and bathroom. When I came here there weren't that many people in the lounge. The food is non-existence, they don't stock any of the popular items such as pita bread and tortilla chips. The cold cuts are basically Hormel pepperoni and salami and cubed cheddar. The only thing worth eating is the soup, which is basically heated Campbells, but hot so I'll give that to them. They have a few rooms and a business center. The men's room only has one stall, so when it's crowded then you'll have to wait. If you are part of the United premier member and get in for free then sure it's not bad, but when you paid $60 to access the lounge it's totally not worth it. read more

Clean and modernly appointed, this United lounge is quite small, compared to some of the others at large airports. There are a quite a few club chairs and a few tables throughout the space. But keep in mind that this place is small, so when busy it might be tough to find a good seat. Food selection is quite limited, but they do serve crackers, cheese, hummus, and soup for lunch. As well, they offer complimentary beer, wine, and well drinks at the spacious bar. A day pass costs $59 per person, if you are not a member or have a complimentary United pass. read more

While this isn't the nicest United Club I've been to its definitely a pleasant place to be while waiting for your flight. With a good assortment of snacks and drinks and an attentive staff this place definitely helps you relax. For snacks they usually have fruit, crackers, cheese and trail mix. Sometimes they'll have soup, humus and Greek snacks (olives, peppers and other veggies). For drinks you can get a beer, glass of wine or spirit drink that is complimentary. Overall the place is clean and has open seating or sectioned off seating. I recommend stopping by if given the option.
