I had an old Cadillac left to me by my father. The interior roof lining was a mess in an otherwise great interior. The man on the phone was friendly and informative. He said he could give me a quote if I brought it in. I did, and he came out immediately and quoted me a price and scheduled a date to do the work.. Even though he explained exactly what would be done etc., being a woman, I was a little apprehensive. Seemed too easy. Turns out, things got even better. The woman who usually is in the office just happened to be gone that day. When I called the day before my appointment she knew all the details, gave me the same time as originally scheduled to bring in the car and even solved my dilemma of not having a ride home. They did exactly what they said they would do and exactly when they said they would. They did a superior job and they did it in a professional and friendly way. Kevin at Unique Upholstery worked with me on fixing my seats in the Toyota Prius V I just leased. They were the most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat in! After driving from Phoenix to Tucson, I was in so much pain, I couldn't stand up straight and I was crying! The end of my spine was being pressed on by the frame at the bottom of the back of the seat and the contoured back of seat had me leaning at very awkward angles. Being shorter than average (5'2") makes some seating furniture very painful for my back. My biggest problems are seats that are too long for my legs, and backs that have deep contours. These seats in my new Toyota had all those problems and more for me. Right Toyota sent me to Unique Upholstery who redid the padding and contoured the seat to fit me beautifully and I have no problems driving between Tucson and Phoenix now or even doing a lot of stop and go driving for errands around town. I was moving cross country from Ohio to CA and passing through Phoenix when my car's (BMW) headliner completely fell apart - I called several places in the area and the guys at Unique Upholstery immediately told me that they could work me in same day despite that they had a full schedule. Their estimate was lower than the other shops. As soon as I pulled in and saw the cars they worked on (high quality classic cars) and took a look at their shop it was very evident these guys were pros. I also asked if there was any way my seat which had a few tears in the leather could also be repaired. By the end of the day when I picked my car back up they had come in under budget, amazing quality work, and both my seat and headliner were like brand new. They even were able to diagnose my dash light issues, which saved me $$ avoiding the dealership. Extremely professional, skilled, and the only place I would ever bring my cars for upholstery work. First off I am a huge first impressions person. I was referred to Unique Upholstery and have heard great things about their work. Upon entering the building I noticed the amount of amazing vehicles that they were working on and the samples of work they had done. WOW I was already excited and knew I was in the right place for my job. I have a new Lexus and wanted my seat repaired to look like it was never ripped. I left my car and they assured me I wouldn't even know it was there when I picked it up. They called me to let me know that it was done (which I thought was great I didn't have to call and bother them to check on the progress). When I showed up you wouldn't even know the seat was damaged. They did a great job and I would refer anyone here! Great place! Scott rocks! My seat broke on my 2007 Infiniti and the dealer wanted a ridiculous amount to repair. I was referred to Unique Upholstery and called Scott. It was Friday evening and he said bring in the car 1st thing Monday morning. I showed up and he said he could fix the issue no problem and would have it done mid day. Sure enough, it was fixed on time and back in my hands well before the kids got out of school. The price was cheap! Also, Scott explained the seat was better than new as it was manufactured poorly to begin with. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for great service and a great attitude. Let me start by saying that this is a top notch upholstery place. The people are great and the quality of work is outstanding. The owner, Scott, is a no BS kind of guy and really wants you to be happy. Now it is not a cheap place, if you want that go somewhere else and get crappy work and product. They recovered my captains chairs and couch in my motorhome and we love it. It was worth every penny. I also feel good about Scott standing behind his product. The service from Unique is excellent, I stopped calling another shop in town as they were impossible to get on the phone. These guys took care of me. I went in to have my seats upgraded, the factory seat cushions were terrible and they did a great job in adding more foam but keeping the seat shape. We had a small part that broke on the side of the seat, but they took care of it with no hassle. I have no hesitation recommending the shop to anyone. read more

I had a seat cushion for a leather BarcaLounger that was cut several times through to the padding. It was repaired perfectly. You cannot tell it was ever damaged. The leather is as structurally sound as when it was new. Unique Upholstery exceeded my expectations but it did cost $200. read more
