They trick you into coming in by telling you a fair price estimate over the phone for something basic like an old yellowed out headlight ($12-15) and then once you get there, remove it and go to check out the price triples if not quadruples and it's almost as expensive as ordering a new part online!!! Today they did it to me again and instead of the $12 price they told me over the phone the guy behind the counter wanted nearly $40!!! That's absurd for an old yellowed out headlight that needs to be restored. Then to top everything off they refused to let my girl walk with me without paying even though she's tiny and has never worked on a car in her life.

It's only about three years old, and while I understand that technically the warranty had ended, the manager had the discretion to make an exception. She chose not to. What bothered me most wasn't even the decision, it was the complete lack of empathy or interest in keeping a customer. There was no attempt to help, no alternative offered, and no sense that losing my business mattered. I was simply wished "the best of luck." O'Reilly Auto Parts is literally right across the street, and they seem to place a much higher value on customer service and customer retention. That's where I'll be taking my business moving forward. Policies are policies, but great companies understand that sometimes taking care of a customer, especially when they're less than two weeks outside a warranty, is worth more than the cost of a battery. They are willing to talk about any and all modifications, give thorough explanations, and help determine which route is best for you. The only issue when visiting their shop is my willpower is about as robust as my wallet (not very). I recently put on stage 8 icon on my ranger. Initially I had the standard springs. After adding a bit more weight all around it was suggested to upgrade the springs in the front coilovers to support a heavier load. Dustin reached out to icon, asked the engineers what they could do and what would work. Turns out 700# springs used on Tacomas work nicely on the ranger as well! Extremely happy with the end result. Great people, great shop, great products.

When the order arrived, it contained only three exhaust tips instead of the complete set I paid for. Rather than taking responsibility for shipping an incomplete order, I was told I would be charged a 25% restocking fee and would also have to pay for return shipping if I wanted a refund. In my view, this is unreasonable because the order was not fulfilled correctly in the first place. This is not a case of buyer's remorse the product I received did not match what I ordered. Customers should not be expected to absorb additional costs when a seller ships an incomplete order. I expected the company to either send the missing item or provide a prepaid return label and issue a full refund without any restocking fee. Based on my experience, I would encourage potential buyers to carefully consider the company's return policies and customer service before placing an order. Update 8/5/2026: After I posted this review, the company contacted me and offered to waive the restocking fee and issue a full refund--but only if I removed my review. I declined because I believe reviews should reflect customers' actual experiences, not be exchanged for refunds. The fact that the company was willing to waive the fee only after a negative review, rather than when I initially explained that they had shipped an incomplete order, speaks for itself. It should not take a public review to receive fair treatment for a fulfillment error.

My truck needed some tuning done on the carb because it was stalling, hesitating, and hard to start when cold. He kept the truck for 2 days then called to tell me that the truck was ready. His fee was very reasonable for the work that he did. The truck runs great! What I appreciated the most was the time he took to explain the source of the problems that he found, what he did about it and what he recommended me do in the future. I felt like he was honest, fair, knowledgeable and has alot of experience.
