She immediately greeted me upon entry, helped me find the best wipers for my car, showed me how to put them on and then when I couldn't put them on....even helped me to put them on. No I been coming to this AutoZone store since it was opened in Gilbert years ago. I have lived here 33 years in Gilbert a 1/2 mile away. I came into the store today and purchased three cans of injectors cleaner and several types of sponges . I got to deal with Kenny at the counter and it like he was in another world to me. I had to hold up the bar code to him so he could ring my items up. After I paid he stood there for some reason. I asked him if he could Put them in a Bag as most people would think that would be normal for several items that would be a little hard carrying out to my truck. He stood there for a while and walked very slowly to the other side of the store to get a bag. I just got tired of waiting for him and just walked out the store. I dropped one of my can of cleaner before I got to my truck. I would not recommend this location due to this person without any regard to doing his job. The last thing was that he laughed when I asked him why I have to ask for a bag and how he was very unprofessional with me. I don't need to take pictures of my items I purchased but I can give a receipt if needed but I don't think it's would help this issue. read more

Came to get new headlight bulb for my car here because I know that they ensure finding the correct one in their database and will help you retrieve it from the shelves. Also I needed new wiper blades in which they can find the right size for your make and model of car in their computer. One thing I did not expect was to get service that was above and beyond. The associate offered to install the bulb and the wiper blades and even threw in some washer fluid for free. This was pretty helpful because I didn't feel like getting down and dirty at the moment because installing bulbs and blades are kind of a nuisance. Some parts may be cheaper online but knowing I get exemplary service is worth a few extra bucks. read more

I told him what I needed, and he gave me couple of options. Purchase some oil and window cleaner which he put in for me but not my oil. However, he did provide a spout so I didn't splash everywhere. Had a great experience at this AutoZone! I purchased a battery, and the tech was unable to install it. I'm happy that he admitted he couldn't install it, as opposed to disconnecting a bunch of wires and not knowing how to replace. I had my battery installed somewhere else, and came back to return the core. The store manager was there and super friendly. I will travel further to this location in the future due to larger selection and more friendly staff, as this is not the case with the location closest to me. read more

I went to this AutoZone to get a fuse. I wasn't sure of which fuse I needed. When I told David that I would have to try and find someone to pull out the old fuse because it was very hard for me to get out with my age. He quickly volunteered to change the fuse for me. I bought a battery from there. They did not give me a receipt. They were supposed to send the receipt by email. It never came. I checked my spam, trash, and regular folders. Nowhere to be found. Called the store. They said they could not do anything and if i needed a receipt I have to go back. The manager was of no help. Finally I could get the receipt by contacting the company over chat. The store, especially the manager should have been more helpful. The battery worked like a charm. Changing from one star to two stars. read more

After coming in for a battery replacement, my car was left with a broken alternator and other electrical problems. This was the fault of Auto Zone and they admitted this - they put in the wrong battery for my car after mistakenly grabbing the wrong one from the shelf. They suggested I take my car to the auto shop across the street which is where it was determined that the alternator was bad. The mechanic told me not to drive it home, so my husband had to leave work to pick up my kids and I. After speaking with the associate who installed the battery (who then spoke to the store manager), they are unwilling to refund my money for the battery and also denied my request to be reimbursed for a rental car! So to recap - I have no car to drive (which has ruined our weekend camping plans) and Auto Zone doesn't really care that they've left me high and dry. They feel that reimbursing me for the cost to fix it is enough. HARDLY!! I can't believe a company of this size would treat a customer like this! I will never give them my business. read more

There is a gentlemen there named Richard who asked me what I was in for today and I told him battery blah blah blah. He said let's go and popped the hood and right when he was going to test it he right away noticed the cables were loose and needed to be tightened. I thought my battery was dead ACCORDING TO BREAK MASTERS on chandler blvd and Dobson. I bought my battery from autozone in October 2016. So Richard tightened it up, had a few laughs tested it 100%. While I was out of town, I asked my roomie to check on my car and start/run every once in a while. Last time I had it serviced for oil change, car shop said it would eventually need a new battery. The car shop quoted me 225 for replacement which came with warranty, but because I was leaving in a few wks to go out of town for couple months I declined and figured I could just handle when I got back. BIG MISTAKE. Car wouldn't start one day while I was away, so my roomie offered to go to autozone for replacement and would swap out for me. Price for battery was 210. Even after he swapped out he was having issue starting until it was just dead. When I got back I had it towed to shop, and found out not only was the battery a faulty one, but I also needed fuel pump replaced. Shop said they had trouble with battery and had to charge up several times, and believed it had a bad cell. They suggested I go back to Autozone for replacement, since it was still less than 90days and was under warranty. While they replaced fuel pump , I had to go out of town again so didn't pick up car immediately from the shop when ready. It was almost midnight when I got back into town, and I just went straight to shop to pick up car. It started up bc I think shop had charged for me, and I went home. 1.5 days later I go to start and again (dead). A neighbor helped me jumped, I let it run for a lil, and I went straight to Autozone. When I went to Autozone they refused to replace b/c technically it "passed" their machine's test on arrival. I called the shop for advice, and they said of course it would pass the test bc my alternator and drive there (and I left running while inside Autozone btw) gave it enough charge to do so, and I would have to wait for it to run down again. The autozone kid even looked at date as was like "yeah, bc it still so new and past the test I can't give you replacement." Even after I told him that car shop across street had issues with it, and they had to charge it themselves a few times. Not to mention I had to get a jump that morning, and my roomie also had to jump once a few days after replacement. Kid said "nope, sorry." I was so over it, I said "ok thank you." I then drove to car shop (mind you I had only turned off my car for a brief moment per the kid's request) and just asked them to take it out and replace with battery /warranty I should have gotten in the first place. I learned a lesson that day, an expensive one, but now I know. Shop replaced, and my car hasn't had a problem since. And even if it did, I know the car shop wouldn't give me some lip service about technicality's and would actually warranty the battery and the work at no cost. I hate autozone in Arizona now. I was impressed as I had been to 2 other locations and they wouldn't help me because their computer system said it would take 30 minutes to change out the battery and I don't think it took him more than 15 minutes. Usually autozone helps me out or let's me try the part in store to see if it fixes my problem but not today. I went in to check my battery for my key fob so the lady threw my battery away immediately not even checking if it's bad and then put in a "new" battery that DID NOT work and made me pay for it since she threw mine out, even though it didn't work. Then told me I will have to go to the dealership and spend $200+ ... so I went to ace hardware.. they gave me a new battery and fixed my key fob... autozone ripped me off and then tried to rip me off more ... pissed read more

Well today I woke up to a dead battery, I jumped my car and headed to AutoZone at 7:30 when they open. Both gentleman were helpful. I purchased a battery and Ryan was awesome, I am a capable man but a little help is always nice. He actually took the lead and did it for me!Replacing a battery in a BMW is different than most and is in the trunk under the spare. I did not even know where the battery was until I googled it haha.
