Our vehicle was stolen and as a result the insurance company , thru Gerber Auto Body of Mesa sent it to Auto Vaun to check out for mechanical damage. On 9/8 Auto Vaun submitted a report stating the was no mechanical damage . We were given the car back by the auto body shop on 9/15 and and my wife drove the car to do some shopping on 9/16. When she cam back to the house she stated that there was something wrong when you took a corner. Now you need to understand that my wife's noticing something wrong with an auto is a rare occurrence. I drove it, called the insurance company and told them that they needed to have it towed back to the repair shop because something was wrong. On 9/18 Auto Vaun wrote a report saying that the rear differential had failed due to wear, not potential abuse during the 10 days it took to recover the car, and that the rear differential showed signs of recent work. There was no mention of why none of this was stated in their earlier report on 9/8. In my opinion Auto Vaun seems to have a problem either with their diagnostic work or relating the actual facts. Rueben was the person I spoke with but he never returned a phone call. In summation I would not trust Auto Vaun to change the oil for any of my vehicles. read more

Had a safety check done I was going to L A MOST. THOURAL INSPECTION detail on the invoice windshield wiper bad, glad I got that changed, it rained almost all the way. So when my beloved town and country developed a lil tranny issue (yea i know. Not little) and it was calling for a replacement. So even though we have an aftermarket warranty and figuring the savings we would get with employee pricing....... when instead of taking to work he takes it to autovaun i was shocked and not a happy person. Until my first experience dealing with them. They were amazing. Timely. Communicated and everything went perfectly. I am beyond impressed by everything about my experience at Autovaun. Josh was honest, informative, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He took care of an oil change, battery replacement and 45,000 mile service for my Audi -- I got in within a few hours of calling and the whole service was finished within three hours! If I could give them a zero I would! My car left their shop basically the same as when I took it to them - not starting. Got it home and it simply would not start. I called them the next day and I have yet to hear back from the owner. Very disappointing! All I wanted was an apology and the $50 diagnostic fee refunded. They never do "quickie" fixes that will need additional work. They seem to use high quality parts, and install them correctly. After 10 years of consistent oil changes with three different vehicles they have only told me once that they found something that needed attention. If they suggest that you need something repaired, you really do need it. I recently got my brakes fixed and they did a great job.
