I had to have work done on my vehicle to pass emissions. My normal mechanic is not part of the state program to help pay for the repairs. I will admit that I was nervous trying to find a good mechanic that was on the program. My daughter drives this car and my grandson is in it on a regular basis so the repairs had to be done right. I read the reviews of the garages on the program and felt Green Light fit our needs best. I made the appointment over the phone and the person who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. We are off to a good start! I received a message from Ken directly reminding me of the appointment. When I dropped off the car, the lobby was very clean and well maintained. It was spacious and the person at the desk was very nice. They even have a small corner with toys and books for kids! I was kept updated on the issues found on my vehicle and the status of parts. When the vehicle was done, Ken called me to let me know that it was done, what they found and made sure it would pass emissions. My kids went and picked it up for me and had no issues with that. Ken was able to look at my 2012 Nissan Frontier after making an appointment,,My A/C was making a noise when starting my truck,or turning on the A/C,sort of rattleling noise,Ken was able to look at it,and after aprx 45 minutes came out and gave me the news. 1st thing was my cabin filters looked like clogged arteries,, and there's a little what I call a door under the dash,that wont work,,the dash needs to come out to replace the part(brilliant design by Nissan),,also I need some freon. He gave me an honest quote for labor to replace that door activator thing,, it was fair considering how much work that would be..I decided to not do that and asked what I could do to get by..He changed the cabin filters and added freon for what I thought was an really fair price. I have been coming to Green light since 2019. We originally were referred to them when I was given an old beat up 2006 Saab Aero. From that time to even today I have never questioned where I am taking my cars. Ken is the owner and is by far the most professional and hard working mechanic I have ever known and used. I have referred dozens of friends and family to his shop as his work is warrantied and he takes a personal interest in making sure the quality is top notch. Completely untrustworthy, if you value your time and money, you will not go to greenlight Garage. Absolute trash of a human, horrible customer service, I could go on and on... But, your best bet, is just don't use this shop. I contacted these guys early in the morning to buy a product they were selling, he told me he had others interested, but that if I showed up before 9:am he would sell it to me... I showed up at 8:15 to be told he just sold it. the fact is, if he's untrustworthy in these ways, he's untrustworthy and others. He is a liar, and not to be trusted. read more

Although I dislike the cost of everything nowadays, I want trustworthy humans to work on my vehicles and thus will get repeat business. No pushy, overcharging, con jobs were felt by my husband and I, which is GREAT!!! They have always been understanding and helped with suggestions on repair issues. Ken replaced the engine with a Jasper Premium Long Block with a 3 Year/100,000 Mile warranty. He also replaced the engine mounts and front brakes. We were referred to this shop because of their honesty and good work. They were able to get us an appointment which worked well with our schedule. Ken was very courteous and listened to our concerns with my car. I was even offered a ride home or to work which I didn't even know they had available.
